We discovered that the refrigerator section was warm around 7 PM. The freezer seemed to still be cold. We called and talked to a dispatcher. He said he could have a repairman there in the morning. The service technician arrived within the promised time. He checked the compressor and such and determined that the computer that controls the operation of all the parts wasn't working. He called the warehouse and determined the part was available. Because we had to remove everything from the freezer and defrost it before the work could be completed, he returned the next morning. The computer was replaced and programmed in about an hour's time. The serviceman cleaned up the area and explained how long we should wait before putting food back in.

Except for the initial shock of the price just to spray some cleaner, they were very good because he applied the price of the condenser to the price of the cleaner. They were very good. They showed up on time and explained everything. Overall, I was very satisfied.

My washer stopped working in the middle of a cycle, leaving me with a tub full of water and clothes I was washing to get ready for a vacation. I called this company and they said they could have a repairman there within 3 hours. He actually arrived within an hour and repaired the washer in less than an hour. He was very polite, explained everything and checked to be sure the washer worked through all the cycles. I was a very happy camper to be back on my vacation preparation schedule in such short time.

Slightly detectable burning smell coming from refrigerator in the evening. Next morning water all over floor and freezer defrosting. I called ASSI at 8:45am. They took my info, quoted me a $45 service fee which would be waived if repairs were performed and said a repair person would be there between 9am and noon. Myron arrived at 10am. I told him the problem with the refrigerator, he looked in back of it and tested something with a red light device. He said it was likely the relay and that the one for my aprox 7 year old Whirlpool model was discontinued but, a different one could be installed for $292.00. I told him to go ahead with the repair. He finished the repair and also cleaned the condenser coils and explained that if I was going to unplug the refrigerator to clean up the melted water in the freezer that I should wait a minimum of 10 mins before plugging in back in. He also gave me back the old relay part which was very obviously toasted .

This repair service was professional, polite and competent. The repairman arrived on time, gave me a fee for the work before he started, fixed the washer in under 30 minutes, checked that it worked when he was done and cleaned up after himself. I will certainly call them again when I need appliance repairs.

I was satisfied with this company, though it seemed as if they really didn't seem to want our service. We had to make several calls and reschedule twice.
