I received a return response from Mike the same day to my Angie List message explaining that the Power Card in my flat screen TV was bad based on the information I gave him.  He recommended it would be more cost effective to purchase a new TV than to have him replace the card. 

It was most refreshing to get an honest estimate from a vendor without having to spend money up front for it. Mike could've easily done like some many others and told me to bring in the TV, pay for his time to look at the issue and still give the same recommendation anyway. 

Based on this quick experience with Video Center, I would say you probably can count on a square deal from this business.

Mike responded to our call in 10 minutes and came later that day, a bit earlier than expected, which was great. Returned the next day; was late but called ahead, which we appreciated, courteous, professional. All work okay, would've liked an itemized bill but felt price overall was fair.

Mike was wonderful and extremely professional. We went for months without sound thinking we needed to purchase another TV. I called him and he came over right away and fixed the problem. He truly knows his profession and is a nice person.

My experience with Video Center went fine, but it took them a couple of tries to fix it. He came out and diagnosed it. We gave him a down payment. We have a 52-inch plasma TV. He took it and fixed it and brought it back. They put it back on the wall. He said he injured himself when he helped put the TV on the wall. After we got it back, it worked for a couple of weeks and then it quit working. We called him and he said he wouldn't fix it, unless we had somebody take it off the wall. We had to pay somebody to help us lift it off the wall and put it in his truck. We had to hire somebody, again, to put the TV back. He didn't stick around to see if the TV worked, once we got it back on the wall. We're a little unhappy about that. The way he treated us, I just felt like, if this is his business and he's going to keep doing it, he needs to find his own helper. He's an older man and I do understand he injured himself. He had a reasonable price. It was under $50.00. He fixed it and took care of the problem. It's under warranty, so he fixed it the second time at no charge. He did a great job. It's been working well ever since. In that sense, he was very nice and everything. I would not use him again.

Mike told me it would be about $900.00, which he said is too much to pay to repair the TV that I would be better off purchasing a new TV. He was very honest with me.

I called at 8pm the night before and left a message. My call was returned the following morning and an appointment was made for that day. Mike showed up on time. He was friendly but professional and went right to work on my TV. He already had in stock the type of lamp required for the replacement, which I was very happy for because the weekend was coming up and I didn't want to have to wait for a part to be shipped. I was very happy with the service and will certainly use Mike again.
