Right on time. Great customer service

If I can give this plumbing company zero stars I would. I had a slab leak, and this company came out for leak detection. I was told that I have two leaks and they cut two lines. They were charging almost 65000 for rerouting two lines. My insurance company also brought their own plumbers and did their leak detection and they found only one leak. The adjuster called RT Olson a fraud company and he almost declined my claim. The insurance refused to fix the two cut lines. They only covered one line and I had to pay for the other line out of pocket. I asked RT Olson to fix the other line that he cut and was not leaking but he refuse to take responsibility. Then he send me an invoice for the leak detection and threatens me to take it to collection and add extra fees. This company is a fraud.

Your technician recommended that I need to change my whole house water softening and filtration system. I am not sure on what basis he recommended it. He recommended to replacing it with a system that he sells. Now I have to pay $95 because he visited my house.

I found RT Olsen Plumbing on Angie's List. Bob has a team of plumbers working for him, and to his credit, he picked up my call from the beach while he was on a short get away with his family. This may be more info than you need, but it illustrates his commitment and reliability. After checking with one of his guys to see if he could fit in a next day appointment (my day off), he confirmed back to me that they could get someone out. Daniel arrived slightly ahead of the promised time, which is never an issue. He had never done a reverse osmosis system install before, and he gave me a price for the work in advance after he had looked at all the pieces. I didn't bother to negotiate, as I needed to get the job done and it felt like a fair price, and it was the price I paid without any further increases. The price might have been higher than I anticipated to spend, given that I provided both the disposal and RO system units, but the job was done very well, and my wife and I are happy. I appreciated Daniel's knowledge and proficiency, and the peace of mind I had that the job was done right – the first time. Daniel noticed some other issues that needed repair while he was under the sink. Being the homeowner of a home where the previous flipper (I will not call THAT guy the "owner") had cut many corners and left us with many problems, I was not at all surprised. He identified why our garbage disposal always backs us up on the other side of the sink - totally incorrect plumbing. We already plan to hire RT Olsen again and will have Daniel come back. I'm confident he will get the job done. If you happen upon another plumber that I've reviewed on Angie's list, he’s been my go-to guy for a long time, but he also happens to be so many other people's go to guy now (GREAT problem for him to have). It was inevitable that I needed to have an alternative at the ready. Found it.

Job went great! Bob gave me a very competitive estimate for the Re-Pipe and went the extra mile in recommending materials for the walk on shower I had discussed with him. I accepted his bid and the work was scheduled: replace the main water line from the meter to the house, Re-Pipe all hot and cold water lines inside the home, demo the existing master tub & shower and replace with walk in shower, repair all drywall and ceiling access points and texture as required. Job went great! The main line and Re-Pipe were done in the 4 days promised. The on-site supervisor, Rudy, was awesome and made sure everything was done perfectly. The walk in shower was delayed a day due to shopping damages to the product, but was quickly resolved by the crew as they tracked down an available replacement. A few unexpected problems came up but were quickly resolved to my complete satisfaction. I will keep their name handy for any future plumbing needs.
