Cyclone Air Systems

Called cyclone air for a chimney spark arrester as our home was not equipped with one. Cyclone air got back to me the same day and sent someone out the next evening. Jorge came out and climbed our very steep roof to get one installed. No complaints here!

Mario did a great identifying the problem and executing the solution. Now, our dryer works like new which it is. Beforehand, it hardly worked because the vent was so clogged. Everyone with whom I came into contact was helpful, and I would definitely recommend.

When our dryer suddenly stopped heating, we scrambled to decide whether to repair or replace it. Luckily, we decided to opt for repair because the dryer wasn't the problem. When the technician opened it up, it was FILLED with lint. Apparently, the lint issue had tripped a safety fuse in the dryer to avoid a potential fire . . . so the dryer worked exactly like it was supposed to. The technician strongly recommended that we get the dryer vent line cleared out. This was something I never knew was necessary since we are very diligent about cleaning out the lint screen after each load. Since I had already put the laundry on hold while we got the dryer fixed, it was really starting to pile up (we have 3 young children and A LOT of laundry). I immediately turned to Home Adviser to find a company that could perform the service and noticed all of the glowing reviews for Cyclone Air Systems Duct Cleaning. They were also able to schedule a next-day appointment for the cleaning. Bonus! The technicians who came out to perform the cleaning were very personable and interacted well with my children, who wanted to see the whole process. Unfortunately, everything did not go as smoothly as I had hoped. To my surprise, the very next day, I got a personal email from the manager of the company (Frank) who wanted to follow up on the service to make sure that I was completely satisfied. I replied with a detailed email, giving my honest feedback about the experience. Steve was very understanding, and to my surprise, was able to make everything right in the end. He also followed up with his technicians and responded very quickly to some additional questions that I had. In my mind, this company gets 5 stars for excellent customer service!!! Really, how often do companies contact you after the fact to make sure you are happy?? It seems that most companies are happy to collect your money and be on their way, no matter how things turned out. This is a company that really cares about its reputation and is willing to do what is necessary to make sure that its customers are completely satisfied. I wholeheartedly feel that companies like this one that truly value their customers should be supported. Through this process, I also learned that dryer vent lines need to be cleaned out on a regular basis, especially if you have the dryer running almost constantly like we do. That little pull-out lint screen on the dryer only catches a portion of the lint generated in the dryer. Where does all of that lint go? Well, it goes into the dryer vent line (or starts piling up around the drum of the dryer if the vent line gets plugged up like ours did). In the end, I'm really happy that the dryer failed to heat before a fire started! I will definitely contact this company again when it is time to clean out our dryer vent line and will be recommending this company to my friends and neighbors as well.

Mario and Jose came out to clean my vents today and it was the most helpful education and pleasant conversation I had. They were honest and upfront about my 40 year old furnace and fiberglass ducts. They were very thorough, informative, and a joy to work with. To Top it off, Mario volunteered to help me load a large pile of branches into my demolition dumpster!! these guys are real people who care. Will definitively have them work on my A/C. They are the best!!

Very professional, efficient, and thorough. Easy to make a fast appointment, arrived on time, and within 30 minutes they were done. The duct/vent is now clean, clean, clean! Thank you Mario for making this chore so simple to complete! Highly recommend their service and will use them again when needed.

These guys were great. They showed up when they said they would, gave us a confirmation 30 minutes in advance, did the work quickly, were friendly and professional, etc. We had a complicated situation with our dryer, which they addressed cheerfully with no additional charge. They found a few additional things they suggested we hire someone to do. And then since they had an extra hour before their next job they just fixed the stuff for us at no charge. Can't beat that.

It was very expensive for what he did. When he called, I could not understand him clearly to hear what he was going to do. I hired him thinking he would not only blow out the vent but actually clean it and clean the end of it that protrudes in my backyard. NO, he just blew it out from inside the laundry area, was their 15 minutes and charged $79.

They came quickly and changed my clogged vent. Everything was done in less than an hour. After I signed the work order and paid them, they left without giving me a receipt. I am still waiting tor the receipt in the mail.

Finally Great company with Great customer service.: They were very professional and did an excellent job. They cleaned all my air ducts and my carpet removed some very difficult stains that were never removed by other companies . They explained everything that they, were going to do before starting the job. I had in my house a few terrible spots of pet odor from urine of my dog. They came and used techniques that I never saw with any other company before. Since they cleaned, our house is odor-free and the carpets never looked better.

Great quality of service for reasonable price - that is what I got from Cyclone Air Systems. Technicians were very professional and certainly knew what they were doing. Definitely this would be the company I will call next time and I highly recommend them to everyone! Thanks a lot!

THEY WERE LATE TO BEGIN WITH. THEY SAID BETWEEN 9:30 AND 10:00 THEY SHOW UP AT 10:25. MY TIME IS OF VAULE AND IT'S LABOR DAY WEEKEND PLANNING TO GET AWAY. ON THE PHONE THEY SAID THEY VAC. DRYER VENT. ALL THEY DID WAS BLOW AIR PRESSURE AND THE MAN SAID THAT THERE IS WET LENT IN THE VENT THAT WON'T MOVE BECAUSE IT IS WET. MUST DRY A FEW DAYS THEN IT WILL MOVE WITH THE AIR PRESSURE. THEY SHOULD HAVE SAID NOT TO USE THE DRYER FOR A FEW DAYS TO LET DRY.

My vents are very high on the ceiling, I live in a loft and we have three floors with 7 vents. Cyclone air systems cleaned each one no problem, including my furnace, and my dryer vent, PLUS my bathroom ceiling fans and the whole job took about an hour and a half. It is now 2009 and the vents/ducts had not been cleaned for 5 years since 2003. The two technicians were really nice to my two cats (I worry about workers being mean to cats) and they were happy and smiled and told jokes the whole time. They also worked together diligently, and as a team; they did not argue or fuss at all. They did a great job and my house is smelling much fresher and cleaner, and my wife's asthma has gotten a lot better. As far as vent/duct cleaning these guys do a great job. The service rep Cyclone Air Systems sent out arrived on time and cleaned out my dryer vent. My dryer has now gone from having to run it several times to dry a load of laundry to just once. We were thinking about getting a new dryer, but found that the problem was simply a buildup of lint in the vent. Cyclone Air Systems did a good job.

He called me and quoted $99 with a coupon from his website. Then I called back later because I forgot he called and he quoted $85. After I gave him my name, he said that he just talked to me. When I asked why there was a difference in quotes, he said that they have various promotions. I think he's overcharging Servicemagic customers. The job was okay but it would have been nice to receive a call if you're going to be over an hour late.

The service technician was friendly and thorough, except he couldn't unplug the dryer vent, which was the project I most wanted completed before a new dryer was delivered. Also, it wasn't made clear that the "special" total house vent and duct cleaning was only for 10 ducts. I still need someone to unplug the dryer vent.

They did a good job and were very nice. The only issue I had was that they showed up a couple hours late - but it was on a Sunday, so was no big deal.

Our employees were complaining about the air quality, so we decided to have the ducts cleaned. We called around and got some estimates, but Advanced was the most professional, knowledgable company we had contact with. From the office staff to the technicians, everyone was a pleasure to deal with. The technicians were courteous and clean and they answered all our questions. There was no mess whatsoever during the cleaning and the ducts were left spotless. They did a fantastic job! We would recommend them to anyone who needs duct cleaning. Our employees noticed a difference immediately, we really are breathing easier!

When I requested the service, I entered my zipcode for the Los Gatos Mtns. This vendor was recommended for my service area. When I scheduled the appt, I also reiterated that I lived in the LG Mtns. He said no problem. He quoted me a price of $125 and confirmed I could use the coupon on their website for $20 off. On the day of the appt, they looked up my address and discovered I was outside their service area and tried to charge me a $25 travel fee which I did not agree to pay & told them I would hire someone else. He called me back and agreed to do the job without the travel fee.

Overall, everything went well with the duct cleaning. Cyclone Air convinced me that there was no problem with the ducts to my bedroom. Generally, everything was done very clean (some small debris left). They seemed to try very hard to do the job to my satisfaction. I guess I would use them again in the future.
