Prompt and courteous service. My only issue was with the fact that the existing bolts were used (rusty), not the shiny new bolts that came with the toilet. I didn't notice this until after the work was done, and the plumber informed me that there would have been significant additional work and cost to replace the ring and bolts that the toilet gets mounted to. Overall a good experience.

I feel the job went well as we had older fittings that were leaking, the disposal was installed professionally, then the drain pipes under the sink were old and worn along with the shut off valves, all replaced in a timely manner and works well at a reasonable price.  After all isn't that what we all want when you need service? Job well done. Great communication and arrived in the window  of time requested. I don't see how it could have gone better.

Everything they did was absolutely outstanding. Most bids we received were for only the repipe, without repairing the walls or without getting the necessary permits. Super Mario's bid covered EVERYTHING. And, they did everything perfectly, exactly as quoted, and they did it in almost half of the time that they quoted. They were in contact with me every day, telling who would arrive, when they would arrive, and what they would do. And, when the people came, they worked HARD. It was really impressive.
Given the fact that we had received bids that were more than three times what they bid, we were concerned about the quality of a company that bid so much less. We were wrong - these folks were the best, most professional contractor that I have ever dealt with. If I ever needed any more work done, I wouldn't even bother to get quotes - I'd just call them and have them come out and do it. They were truly awesome!

The removal of the old water heater and installation of the new one went smoothly.  All the connections and straps look good.  He was on time and worked efficiently.  You could tell he was experienced.  My slight disappointment was that the ad on Angie's was for a 40-gallon water heater, and he installed a 38-gallon one because he no longer had 40s.  He told us in advance, but still some disappointment that the advertising didn't match.  Maybe Angie's makes it difficult to modify ads?

It went extremely well.  The plumber who installed the new toilet was extremely professional and courteous.  Ensured my toilet was installed properly and put a clear sealant around the base.  Made sure all trash was removed in a bag.  Cleaned my bathroom floor of any dirt or water.    Informed me of the warranty for the work he had done, and instructed me to call Mario's back should I have any problems.  Gave me a company magnet to place on my fridge, and a receipt for the extra $20 I had to pay towards the removal of my old toilet.  I was told by his manager, the $20 was not included in the deal that Angie's List provided.
I would highly recommend "Super Mario Plumbing" to others because of the wonderful work performed, and I plan to contact them again for any other toilet(s) I have installed.   Before arriving, he called to let me know when he would arrive.   He arrived, 25-30 mins prior to my scheduled appointment.  I am very satisfied and happy with the services that was performed!    Carlotta Grimes-Hutcheson, Sacramento

I called on a Friday afternoon about 4:30 or 5:00 and left a message. I got a call back promptly and they were able to come out Sunday morning and do the work.  They arrived about 1.25 hr early, which was a minor issue in that it interfered with another appointment I was having with a different contractor regarding other work. The work was completed with what appears to be good quality. The owner took my call, quoted the prices, but sent his worker out to do the work. I'm not sure the worker always understood what I was saying to him, but we managed to communicate and the work got done. Overall, a good job done quickly and for a competitive price.

Came the same day and saved me $1200. Another service wanted to charge 2400. Mario came out with two trucks and with two plumbers. They arrived when they said, they worked efficiently and cleaned up. Excellent results!

Super Mario lived up to its name ? Super!  Dimitar and his co-workers were punctual arriving at the scheduled time and even called ahead to let us know they were coming.  They were professional, workmanlike, as well as courteous and friendly.  They replaced our 21 year old gas hot water heater with a new highly rated 48 gallon Rheem Professional unit including new fittings and adding a drain pan and drain to outside (an extra I wanted). The work was done for the quoted price which was
several hundred dollars less than other bids for the same unit and updates required by code. In addition, they did not charge for installation of a new faucet elsewhere in our house ? since they were already here! Their work was excellent
and everything is functioning well with no leaks and no issues with building inspector review as per permit (that they obtained for us - charging only what our city required for the permit).  They did not charge any extra fees despite the need to change multiple valves and piping.  I also note that their quote also included tax. Dimitar was quite knowledgeable and was familiar with all codes
and plumbing issues which he explained to me as well as the operation of our new unit. In short Super Mario has my highest recommendation and I am planning to use their service again in the near future as we replace some other dated
plumbing fixtures in the house.

Since moving to the Sacramento area about three months ago, my wife and I have been working down the punch list items identified on our home inspection.

There were 72 items listed, plus a bunch more that they missed, and a couple that they noticed that weren?t problems, and of course the things that she and I want to change.

To summarize?we got a great house but just about everything was installed incorrectly.

But let me focus on the plumbing. The gas-fired tankless water heater was incorrectly installed?perhaps that was too kind?it was basically hung on the wall, and not hung on the wall very well as it was mounted with a single screw.

The inspector had found nearly a dozen code violations; the gravest of all was a lack of a pressure temperature relief valve. That?s the device that prevents the unit from exploding when the unit overheats. That got my attention in a hurry.

Besides that, the service valves necessary to flush the water heater coils were not installed, the condensate drains did not exit the house, and the air intake and gas exhaust were of the wrong materials and in the wrong place. The inspector also noted that there was rot behind the water heater. The inspector missed the need for a new independent 1? gas line to run the width of the house to service the water heater.

I got three quotes for the code compliant installation of the water heater, and they came in at approximately $6,000, $4,000 and $2,000. The low bid was from a company called?and I?m not kidding?Super Mario Plumbing. The owner thought Super Mario would be a catchy name for his plumbing business.

Well, the owner, Dima, turned out to be one h*** of a plumber. He installed the water heater just the way I wanted, and installed a sink at the same time. That gas pipe, he ran through the crawl space between the cathedral ceiling and the roof?none of the other bidders would do that. I watched him crawl into the narrow space wearing a protective bunny suit. Good job.

So, I got a pest contractor to fix the rot. It turned out that there was no rot?even though the home inspector had self-quoted $750 to repair it. What was mistaken for rot was a rusted splice bar that covered a cutout where piping had been run. But they discovered that a water connection above the wet area was caused by a leaking pipe.

So again, Super Mario to the rescue. I asked Dima to both fix the water leak and remove a shower head from the master bathroom. It seems that the prior owner had hooked up the regular shower head and an overhead rain shower head in series without a switching valve, so one couldn?t be used without the other.

When he finally checked the attic leak problem, the solder joint had been made without proper preparation and was ready to fail and flood the house. But the joint was made so close to the wood framing that a bevy of pipes had to be relocated to access the joint.

Now the latest?our dishwasher hasn?t been cleaning the dishes well. We cleaned the filters?better but not good. We tested the water?cold. We ran the hot water and then started the dishwasher?still cold. We discovered that there are two lines leaving the water connections under the sink: one goes to the dishwasher, and the other goes to the refrigerator?s filtered water and ice maker.

Believe it or not, the cold water was piped to the dishwasher and the hot water was piped to the refrigerator?s filtered water and ice maker.

Called Super Mario and it was fixed in 15 minutes.

I called in the morning and Super Mario was able to get me a same day appointment on a busy Thanksgiving week. He came late after Im sure what was for him already a long day and I appreciated it so much. My kitchen faucet was broke and I was unable to turn the water off at my kitchen sink without going outside and turning off water to the whole house. Also my garbage didposal had died. He worked quckly and efficiently, cleaned up after himself, and fixed the valve under the sink without me asking and without added cost. Niw if I have a problem in the future I can turn the water off at the sink. I felt the price was very reasonable and Im so happy to have a nice new faucet and a working disposal! A+++
