LaCombe Curb and Concrete

Dillon has given me a bid and a start date for the work. Very prompt in returning calls and arriving on time.

I was contacted immediately after I enter my information in howeadvisor.com by the owner. The work was quoted, scheduled, but owner did not want to write a contract down on paper, So the work was delayed by several weeks. Once I decided to give the project to them, the owner do not even pick up the call and voice message regarding the new schedule. And when they finally completed, the worked is not good, they left befind a lot of debris attached to the concrete blocks that he said he can not remove unless removing the whole concrete block all together. Even worse yet is he left a pile of concrete in my neighbor's front yard, and never removed. My neighbor had to hire another contractor to remove them (per my tenant). I am not happy at all. I would not recommend using LaCombe Curb and Concrete.

Work done in a timely manner, Felt the price was more than fair

I put in a home advisor request and Dillion called me within 15min and was at my house later that day. Gave me a very competitive bid and I hired him to tear out some grass and lay out some concrete. He was able to start the project early and was done within 3 days. I'm very happy and would hire Dillion and his crew again.

Dillon removed an old concrete sidewalk and installed a new one at our home. He completed the project in an efficient, professional and timely way. I highly recommend Dillon and his company should concrete curb and sidewalk work be needed. I plan to hire him for future projects of this type.

Had this company demo and replace my existing driveway. The owner is a personable guy who seems to know concrete and runs a small show. His bid was the lowest by far of the ones I got. We had some miscommunication of the start date of the project by that was a minor inconvenience. My concerns over the project, and maybe I am being too picky but after telling me he would bring in base for compaction, he didn't and maybe he felt that the ground was sufficient for the project but I felt that there were still some soft spots which I went out and compacted with a manual tamper. The compaction of the site was done with his bobcat which I was a little concerned about but took him at his word that it would be ok. When the pour took place it all seemed to go well, he had his crew and himself. They were efficient and seemed to know what they were doing even though two on the crew had worked for him only a short time. When it came time for the finish work it seemed to go fine as long as the owner was at the project. I watched the process, the expansion joints going in, the troweling and the brooming. It looked pretty good on the half that the owner jointed and broomed. He left after about half the driveway was finished and his crew with the one experienced guy was left. Again maybe I am too concerned over nothing and it is only a driveway but the broom work on the half I thought looked shoddy. The broom marks started halfway through some of the blocks, The joint lines were rough and there were still trowel marks. Wet it still looked pretty good but after it had set for a couple of days I had some disappointment in the appearance. I did call the contractor specifically about the joint lines and he did have somebody clean them up with a grinder but should I have had to do that? Shouldn't he or his crew noticed it needed to be done? I don't have a lot of experience with pouring that amount of concrete but I do know what looks good. And this project even though it is serviceable and will probably not be able to notice most of the imperfections after it gets some wear on it was not up to the standards that I expected.

Dylan came out to my residence the same morning I called to survey the job and provide a cost estimate. The price was lower than the other 4 cost estimates I got over the phone. After happily agreeing on the price I was amazed to come home from work the following day to find that the trenches were already dug and the forms were already up all while keeping the decorative black rock from getting dirty. He scheduled a day for the pour and on that day it was done. It looks amazing and they cleaned up very nicely, it was hard to tell they were ever there. I had a bad experience with a different concrete contractor in the past and it was very refreshing to deal with such a stand up guy. Friendly, professional, clean, talented, affordable, prompt and most important to me, excellent communication. Two of my neighbors have requested his contact information and one has scheduled a complete backyard renovation with him. I would highly recommend them.

Provided a complete new interior cement floor for our storage room. Dillon and his workers were very professional and efficient at their task.

They widened my driveway, doubled the size of my front porch, and took out all the lawn in back and are now pouring a stamped and colored patio and a patio wall. I'm so excited. Dillion and his crew have been amazing to work with.

Provided a complete new driveway and sidewalk to front porch during a tough time when it rained in between demolition and replace. We had some drainage problems and it looks like it has been remedied. We did exposed rock and bans with colored concrete and it really made the home look great. Real good value for the price.
