We went in to the furniture store, and a salesman took us all around, we picked out a TV stand and paid cash for it. Then found out it would be 4 to 6 weeks for it to arrive. That is outrageous in itself. After the 6 weeks a Liquidation company came and took over the management, the head jerk, named Mike gave me the name and number to call if I wanted my money back because they a date a few months out that I was scheduled to get my TV stand. I called the number, spoke to a lady who said that she would ask her manager if we could come to that town (1 hour away) and pick up the floor model. Manager said yes. When we drove there to get it the manager was a complete inconsiderate jerk said we couldn't have it and that he would never have let us, he must have not been paying attention to the lady when she asked him and just answered whatever to make us happy. So we drove home with nothing. Our old TV stand was extremely dangerous for our 2 year old so we had to shell out another 300 dollars at another store for a new one, meanwhile Robert Myers gets to keep my 372.37. He was adamant in the papers that his 2 remaining stores would NOT close, which they abruptly did, and I was finally contacted after calling every single day for about 3 weeks and told that we could have the money in credit and pick something else out (ummmm from where? the stores are closed) or we could just go ahead and take legal action which we most certainly are doing. But after all the hassle that this store put us through we are not suing for 372.37, OH NO! We will be suing for our time, our mileage, our time on the phone, the amount, interest, and anything and everything else our lawyer thinks we are eligible JUST TO SUE FOR. If we don't get it, whatever, it's the principal and I want this all over the news, the town that we sued ROBERT MYERS for XXXX amount of dollars over what is such a little amount of principal just for his pre meditated fraud.

I will never do business with this company. We ordered three loveseats, only after getting angry with them did I find out two of the loveseats were 'ready', but in S. Calif. Would I like to have them brought up to Northern California and get the third one later? That turned out to be a lie also. I enjoyed the fact that we had out of town company on June 4-7 and we didn't have enough seating. We would have been okay with 6-8 weeks, but 10 was a week too late for our guests. The nicest person was the guy at the warehouse. He actually seems as though he cared.
Description of Work: Horrible service. We ordered the furniture on March 31st, we were promised 6-8 weeks delivery. Why it takes 6-8 weeks is beyond me. The furniture only comes in the fabric/color that is on display. You'd think they would have one of everything in stock. Their warehouse is huge. I started calling at 7 weeks, because they didn't call me. I got voicemail most of the time, but they never returned my calls. When I did talk to someone, it was an uncaring woman whom I'm sure I just woke up. The furniture arrived on June 12th, TEN WEEKS LATER.

Very poorly. From my experience and discussions with other former clients, they apparently are always late on their deliveries and never have a straight story for the customer. You might finally get the product, but it will all ways be several weeks to months after they tell you it will be at the time of purchase. Staff was friendly and appeared knowledgeable but the company does not seem to care about meeting commitments. I am now waiting on repairs to the products that were delivered damaged. Who knows if they will be repaired.
Description of Work: I purchased Furniture on 1-27-09 with an 8 to 10 week delivery date. Delivery between 3-24-09 and 4-07-09. At 11 weeks I started calling about the delivery. I was told first they were waiting on a couple of items from the factory. Next call a week later they were waiting on different items. Next call a couple of days later they were waiting on different items. Every call it seemed they just made up what wasn't ready and kept putting me off. When I finally told them at 14 weeks from the order, they either delivered the products or refunded my money, they delivered one new item and a couple off the show room floor. All had some form of damage which they say they will fix. I have yet to hear back from them.
