Packers and loaders were terrific and delicate, over the road drivers were just ok and not so delicate

I reviewed and interviewed several movers before hiring Beefcake. I did so after chatting with their office manager, Gabbie, who quickly understood the details of our furniture move from Sherman Oaks to Newport Beach, made me feel comfortable and confident in their capabilities, and gave me a very fair flat fee. The movers, Sean and Gustavo arrived on time, expertly wrapped our furniture with taped moving blankets, followed by taped clear wrap. At the destination, they very carefully carried each piece up a difficult hairpin interior stairway to the bedrooms, and carefully unwrapped and placed each piece without any damage. Sean and Gustavo have worked together for years, and were so nice, professional.....truly, experienced and expert movers. Bottom line, Beefcake is highly recommended, and I ll definitely call them again for any future moves!

Beefcake moving and storage is AWESOME! I contacted them for a small project with a quick turnaround time. Their customer service is 5-star, all items received were in perfect condition. Items were packed and picked up in California, delivered to Indiana. I cannot say enough good things about this company. I had contacted several packing and moving companies in the Los Angeles area, and Gabby, the office manager, went above and beyond with customer service. Kept me informed every step of the way, and handled a delicate estate manner very professionally. Thank you Beefcake, you guys ROCK!

We were nervous about picking the right movers since we were going from LA to ATL. We wanted someone affordable, but providing quality work. After reviewing multiple companies, we landed on Beefcake and they were great throughout the process.

"The Moving company was very communicative and prompt. They showed up on time, finished the project and were willing to walk me through any additional charges!!

Fast and efficient but very careless. A number of my wood furniture was damaged. I saw them dragging desk and other furniture on the concrete pavement and damaging it. They dragged furniture in my original house that I was moving from and damaged the hardwood floors with big scrapes on the floor. If you have nice furniture, don't hire these people. If you want a fast move but don't care about damage to your furniture or wood floors, then they are okay.

All I can say is wow !!! They exceeded far beyond my expectations. They were fast, safe, and courteous throughout the process. They were professional, polite and respectful, and most important flexible. They moved pretty fast considering time and amount of stuff moved. 3 1/2 hours they moved quite a bit including couches tables chairs large garment boxes and more. My move was simple but complex in qty. I was moving to an existing storage I had so I had some items already there. There were considerate of those existing items and didn't stack on the fragile stuff and made sure that I would be able to negotiate later if needed. Overall they did a great job I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for small and large moves local and long distance.

The drivers and crews were courteous, flexible and worked hard. The price turned out to be a little more than double the estimate which I attribute to my lack of expertise projecting the number of boxes and the companys estimate was sight unseen. The loading crew used a lot of shrink wrap, etc. Im still looking for some things like a tall picture, finding things that were broken or damaged in transit like a solid wood end table, missing unusual essential parts = unusable items i.e. adjustable tv tray & ironing board, essential parts for items in a different box, two recliners were unnecessarily separated to ship then wouldnt fit together properly when unloaded, etc. Late arrival for unloading led to unfinished assembly of my furniture so crew could make their next appt.

The entire experience was great from the office to the estimator and to the movers.. Gabby was very friendly and efficient.. Sean was great and explained everything we needed to know. All the movers were on time friendly and very careful with our furniture.. I would highly recommend them!

I hired Beefcake because I needed to clear out of my old apartment asap to accommodate the new tenants. I called on a Monday evening and they had my stuff out by Wednesday morning and delivered from LA to Seattle by Sunday. Gabbie was courteous, professional and responsive to all my needs and questions. She told me the movers would be at my place in LA between 8 am to noon. He was there by 11am. She told me the movers would arrive at Seattle between 8-10am, he was there by 7:55am. The cost was around 1060 including 2 flights of stairs with no elevator. Other quotes were 1900-3000. I love this company. This is an example of a well run business. I highly recommend Beefcake Moving to anyone who asks. A+++ 5. 5/5 stars. Beefcake made this the most painless moving experience ever.

We hired BEEFCAKE MOVING to move some office furniture from LA to our STL offices. DO NOT USE THEM. Payment Policy: You pay 65% down and the rest is due before they unload the furniture.They increased what we owed twice: Once upon pick up when they said the desks (2 U shaped and 1 L shaped) were considered 2 and 3 person desks. (there was nothing on the contract that asked what shape the desks were or listed them as extra fee items). And second upon arrival when the mover said it was more than 75 feet from the truck to our office door. If he had not pulled up so far it would not have been over 75 feet. Movers: Beefcake hired a guy to pack up the furniture, where he took everything apart and did not mark what pieces went with what. A different mover picked up the items and transported them to our office, where upon arrival he threw a fit about where we wanted him to park, stating he was scared he would get hit by a car or get a parking ticket. A police officer, our building security officer and I were all trying to talk reason to the guy but he kept whining. I finally convinced him to proceed by offering to stand outside with him and tell him if a car was coming. (This was a side road, not heavily traveled, and only a parking lane away from the curb). He brought no help except for his wife, he had no ramp to unload, I and my colleagues had helped him with several items. And after he finally unloaded, he stated that he does not put anything together, and left. He would only accept cash, (is not it hard to document payment for tax purposes with cash?). When we tried to contact Gabbie who is the contact at Beefcake she did not respond to the calls.

Needed to have an major appliance moved from southern to northern California ... and I researched a good number of professional movers before I decided on Beefcake. They blanketed my item, taped down the blanket, cardboard "boxed" the item, framed each corner with hard cardboard, then the equivalent of shrink-wrapping, and belting for added security. My appliance arrived in EXACTLY the same condition it left, working in perfect order. Highly recommendable company.
