KLM CLEANERS

I've been going here almost a year now on a regular basis. At first it was not bad, especially since it's only $2 per item. In the last 6 weeks, things went quickly downhill. Not sure if they are trying to cut corners or what, but the last time I dropped off pants, one of them came back not dry cleaned at all (nor was it even PRESSED to give off the impression that someone actually worked on it!). I didn't discover this til going home so I didn't raise a stink. Earlier this week I dropped off another load. I went to pick it up and had to leave back 2 pairs of pants to be dry cleaned again. Why? One (black) pair had stains (only cream cheese which should come out easily) that they didn't even get off even though I pointed it out to them when dropping off the garment. The other pair of pants didn't have any stains when I dropped it off and today upon picking it up, I found stains on one of the legs! They said they'll redo it (and I left the two pants back there to be redone) but I will never come back there after I pick up these pants. The worst thing of all is that she asked me to pay for those pants TODAY (5/17) upfront. Which I refused, naturally! I returned today (5/20/11) to pick up my 2 pants that had to be re-dry cleaned. Guess what? Stains still on there. The guy said that I'm welcomed to leave it there and they can try again but what's the point? Two times, and totally out of my way. With gas prices nowadays, why would I pay $2 to have one garment dry cleaned and have to repeatedly keep coming back and waste gas money only to find that they've done nothing to improve it. By the way, I came home and soaked that one small spot in water. And guess what? It came out. I didn't even have to scrub. The point is they didn't even TRY. I'm starting to think that all they do is press the pants to make them LOOK like they've been cleaned when in fact they haven't been. I found more stains that didn't come out and when I soaked those areas in water, they too came out.
