METRO MED TRANPORT SVC INC

I have been frustrated with the lack of professionalism or sense of responsibility of this MEDICAL service from the start.  Nearly every time I request service for her machine, additional canulas or for replacement tanks, or even the quarterly maintenance checks of the machine, they simply do NOT show up when they are supposed to.  Days and days pass ... I don't know whether it's carelessness, but certainly it is an ongoing company policy.  The company seems to think it is delivering just any product instead of critical life supplies.  I mean, my water softener service is more reliable.  Many times I have to call several days in a row.  Right now (7/6/11) the leased compressor has been broken for days.  There was a 3-day holiday and since we are lucky enough to have the money to have purchased another compressor on our own, the answering service said they would wait until the first day after the holiday.  I called the office first thing that morning, yesterday, was promised repair that day .... nothing .... no show ... called again first thing this morning and finally at 4 pm, got a call that the repair was now "authorized" and the repair would happen tonight.  This is the average level of service.  What if we didn't have, couldn't afford, a back-up?  What if the back-up broke?  What if there were a power outage?   I hope the management reads this comment and thinks seriously about their duties.   Just because they have a monopoly on the area doesn't mean that their clients can live through poor service.
