BNK Chem Dry

I have used this company before with good results. However this time he came over with his wheel tape measure and quoted with an outrageous price! This time I asked him to quote the tile floor as well. The total quote was about 1,000.00! 
him several times. Yes I was rude. I am like that when someone is trying to screw me. I told him wow did you guys raise your pricing? He said no. I then said well i have a 20% off coupon so I will use that. Then he says oh I already gave you 10% so I can give you 10% more. This always p***** me off. He knew he had sent out coupons recently. I told him I dont think I can do it. He said the floor or the carpet? I said the whole job its too expensive. Then he says well we have a service call. I said Im not paying a service call if i dont like the price quote. Between him overcoming, trying to screw me on discount and the service call remark I told him we are done and asked him to leave. I had to ask several times. Oh and then he has the nerve to send me an invoice for the service call!! Yeah right Im never paying that. What a tool.
He has a C rating on Angies list. I wonder why? I hired KleenRite instead and he charges by the area. I got everything done for less than half.

I have used other ChemDry franchises before, but this is the first time I used BnK. I tried BnK because I had become unhappy with the other ChemDry franchises. BnK offered both the traditional rotary cleaning, which had worked well on my carpets in the past, and a deeper "truck mount" cleaning. The carpets were pretty dirty, so I chose the truck mount system. Shawn arrived on time and went right to work. The carpets were nice and clean when he left; they were damp for a little while, but that's normal. Shawn was pleasant and efficient, and I was pleased with the service. The next day it became obvious that the family room carpet had had an unusual response to the "truck mount" cleaning: the nap of the clean carpet was laying in two different directions, giving the impression of darker and lighter stripes. When I told BnK about this problem, they told me that it was very unusual, and they immediately volunteered to come out and use their circular cleaner to correct it. At a time that was convenient for me, Shawn came back and went over the carpet several times with the rotary cleaner. He even volunteered to do the other carpets,too, but I felt that they didn't need it. All the carpets now look great! I was delighted that Shawn came back and pleasantly fixed an unexpected problem without charging me a penny. I will certainly use BnK ChemDry again.

VERY BAD! I have used this company many times before. They always give me a price over the phone, and that is the actual price I pay. This time, they quoted me $252 over the phone. We did discuss how the price was based on square footage, and for the price quoted, they used a formula of 30% of the house. I told the agent that it seemed smaller than the actual square footage, but she said if we were having the whole house done, this was the most economical way to go. I wasn't home when they came, and they did give my husband a new price of $540 which is MORE THAN TWICE the amount they told me over the phone. He didn't know what price they had given me and assumed it was OK. If I had been home, I wouldn't have gone ahead with the cleaning at that price, but we had already spent about an hour and a half moving furniture etc. I would have been angry no matter what. I contacted the owner to see if we could reach an agreement - as I am a repeat customer, but he didn't care.
