They were very good but the deal was not really clear. It was actually $250 per rug and it said $90 so I wound up spending quite a bit of money. The deal was not quite what I expected. I knew that I was spending more than the big deal price because I was having three rugs done but I spent significantly more than I expected but they did a very very good job so I am not complaining about it. The next time that I do it, I would probably just shop around and see if I could find somebody to do it for a little bit less money. I just got my rugs back about a week and a half ago. They do very good service but they charge for pickup and delivery. Do not buy a rug pad from them because you can get that for half the price online but Shane who is the owner-manager of the company was very knowledgeable and they were prompt. They cleaned my rugs well. They were not perfect but they were close and the most important thing was that they did a good job. Their price was just a little high but I would probably use them again in the future, not absolutely but probably.

Extremely well. The rugs look fantastic and the repair was expertly done, The cost of the repair was reasonable, given the nature of the damage and the skill needed to repair/restore. I am very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to use Superior Rug Services again. I can readily recommend this provider to anyone who has a good oriental rug in need of cleaning or repair.

They were quite late on the pick-up date - said would be here by 1:30. Did not arrive by that time and did not call. I finally called them and found out one of their guys had not shown up for work & they were running late. I had to run an errand. They arrived before I returned. They called me & waited until I was able to get back home. They said they did not ordinarily do jobs this far out (Long Beach area). However, they did a really good job. The rugs look great.

I provided my contact info to the service provider by text message. I was contacted and told which day they could come by which ended up being 2/4/14. They picked up my rug and had it for well over 2 weeks. I was not given a date of delivery. My fault for not inquiring. But very unprofessional on their part for not including this info on the paper work. After 2weeks I contacted Superior Rug Services and was told they would deliver my rug the next time they would be in my area on other business calls. It was an additional few days but I was not pleased at the way they handled this part of their business. At the very least I feel I should have been advised of this upon initial contact. I was also told I would be charged an additional $60 for pick up and delivery after I agreed to have them take on the work. The deal was $99.00 for $200 worth or work. Add an additional $40 for the size of my rug plus $60 for pick up and delivery. I also feel that the pick up and delivery fee should have been disclosed on the Angie's list details of this "deal". They need to be more up front upon initial contact. The carpet was cleaned satisfactorily but I didn't care for the lack of professionalism. I will not be using this company again.

We were extremely impressed with Shane of Superior Rug Services from the start regarding his knowledge of our type of rug. He provided us with several options as to what services he could provide and what the cost would be. We agreed upon the services we wanted him to perform which we have detailed for you. Shane and his assistant then proceeded to remove the rug in order to clean and repair it. They were very neat and considerate of our surrounding furnishings. He estimated how long it would take to do what needed to be done and when he would be able to deliver our carpet. Shane called around the time he said the job would be completed to say he would be delivering the carpet the next day, which he did. It was raining heavily on the day of delivery, so he took great care to make sure our carpet was not affected by the rain and he even removed his shoes as to not get anything in the house wet. He and his assistant first laid down the pad, asking if it was in the position we wanted. Then they rolled out the carpet, again asking if the position was correct. They repositioned the furniture where we wanted, without making us feel as if we were taking up their time. We were so pleased on how the carpet and new fringe looked (like brand new), because both badly needed cleaning and repair. In our opinion, the workmanship was excellent and we would gladly recommend Superior Rug Services, not only for their fine work, but also for the patient and courteous way they dealt with us. Five plus stars to Superior Rug Services.

They did a superb job! It was a light rug with wine stains and they cleaned it.

I have used this company before and was satisfied. the rugs came back looking beautiful and withuinn the promised amount of time. They were late in arriving but called and let me know that would be the case. They really knew about the rugs and were able to comment about their quality and value. i would definitely recommend them

In the past the rug had been cleaned when the wall to wall was cleaned. The fringe always looked grey, and the pattern on the rug was dull. The rug was gone for several days but when it was returned it looked new. |I would not hesitate to recommend the company for any kind of carpet or rug cleaning

They cleaned the larger rug was done well but the trim could have been cleaner. They did a beautiful job on the second rug!

I paid for the rug cleaning coupon September 19, mentioning in my message to business that I would be back in LA for a month from Christmas on and asked for an email reply re my suggested service dates. They replied only via Angie's list, although I asked them to use my email address. I didn't realize there was a note there until a few months later. Time short, I asked for 13 Jan, but date didn't work out (my travel difficulty). We arranged for 15 or 16 Jan. so they could finish by 21 Jan when I flew out. They agreed, then called a day later to say 16 Jan. too late - not enough time and better just to cancel. I feel this could have easily been arranged within my 30 days in CA if their communication had been more timely and fully detailed. I expected work to take max 3 days. Instead they told me very late that even 5 days was not enough and they couldn't do it, so best to cancel offer. I felt a bit deceived, since we could have communicated about all this 3 months before I got to CA. Even after we finally touched base in Jan., they weren't up front about length of service required till very last minute. Why not mention it in first message?? Clumsily handled.

I had to pay a pick-up and delivery fee because my rug was large. I wasn't happy with that, but at least he informed me of this added expense before I agreed to his services. The service was exactly as it was described. I would use his services again.

They did an excellent job. Some stains had to be pre-treated, for which we paid extra, but it was well worth it. Carpet looked like new when they were finished.

Shane at Superior Rug really stepped up and took a situation that could have gone bad and turned it around into a very positive experience. He was diligent, professional and he really cares about his business and how the public views him. He went out of his way to make me happy. Thank you Shane!

I used the to clean and repair the outside trim on a 10' by 12' area rug. They picked it up and returned it as promised. The rug looked brand new. Will definitely use them again.

We expect return delivery in early January and I can update this post when I see how they actually turned out! But I can tell you that the responsiveness at Superior Rugs is excellent.

They did a great job (the rug was returned clean and thick) but the only reason I wouldn't use the service again is that the rug smelled so strongly from the cleaner chemicals when it was done that I could not tolerate it for over a month until the odor wore off. Other than that, I would recommend them; their service was very good.

My spouse just had a bone marrow transplant and I had to sanitize the house before her return. I used an Angie's list coupon and arranged for Superior Rugs to clean all the area rugs in my home. I was not there when they picked up the rugs but had arranged for someone to meet them. Evidently they were in a hurry and did not leave a receipt for the rugs. They were helpful in terms of rushing the return delivery so I could have things in place in time for her discharge. But when they returned the rugs, they only had 7 of my 8 rugs. And they didn't know what was missing. They did eventually locate my rug two days later, but it was stressful. They made a deal for $1100 for all the rugs, but were very unhappy to then use the Angie's list coupon again that quote. My biggest complaint is about a $2300 9x12 rug I bought from Restoration Hardware in 2006. When they brought the rolled up rug back and dropped it down on the floor, dust spewed out of it. They said that was normal. When I unrolled the rug the next day and laid it out, it smelled. I called to get it cleaned again and Shane said it is a cheap rug with bad adhesive and can't be cleaned. He advised me to just get rid of it and get another rug. He said he'd clean it again but it wouldn't do any good. Now I am in a corner. I am getting quotes of $300 to clean the rug plus transport, and I don't have the money. I am sure that if Superior cleans the rug again they will not get rid of the odor. Pretty unhappy with this resoluation.

k and realized that The work was good but I wish that I'd had advance notice of the cost. The pads cost $140. they were very ordinary white plastic mat. They used two scraps for the large rug. They seem to work all right though. Revision: 12/8/13. Because I was hospitalized for a fall resulting in broken ribs on 11/16/13; I really didn't bend down to inspect the rugs when delivered. Today I took a close look a saw that the rugs were beautifully bound on all exposed edges with wool that exactly matched the rugs. I'm very pleased and would like to give Superior Rug Co. and A grade instead of a B. Sincerely, Ann Marie Ferreira

I spoke with Shane at Superior Rug Services to arrange for cleaning two area carpets with a Big Deal purchase ($99 for $200 worth of rug cleaning). Since I learned that pick and delivery of the carpets would be an additional $60, I delivered the carpets myself to the Norhridge address on November 5. (I live in Pacific Palisades.) Once there, Shane examined the rugs and explained the cleaning process. He noted that the Persian carpet had been poorly repaired previously and suggested that the false fringes be removed. I agreed to the removal of the fringes and the repairs which would be done by hand. The additional expense was $265. About two weeks later Shane called to let me know the carpets were ready. I picked up the carpets on November 26. They looked great... the colors were again bright and vibrant.

Picked up oriental rug, cleaned, replaced carpet tape, and delivered back. Very professional job. Expensive.

We bought a deal through Angie's in order to have an 8' x 11' oriental rug cleaned. The company called to schedule pick up and drop off and discuss what we wanted done to our Oriental rug and the discussion left me confident that the company is knowledgeable. Pick up and delivery punctual were punctual and accompanied. Y confirmation phone calls. The carpet was cleaned within a matter of days and ahead of anticipated time-frame. We opted to add at an additional charge a stain resistant treatment. I have yet to unroll the carpet, but am happy with the service I received.

They came and took my two rugs away - one small, one large, cleaned them (washing) and returned them. Very professional, punctual, etc. They said I would not recognize the rugs in terms of color when they were returned. This was not the case. They were cleaner but I did not notice any real difference. I also thought they were a little pricey but do know washing and drying these kind of rugs is a lot of work.

They were the worst service provider I have ever hired.

I had an excellent experience with this company. I knew I needed someone who would provide personal and meticulous service on 2 hand stitched rugs that are old and delicate. Shane was professional from the very outset. I had a deadline as I was having a party and wanted the rugs in place for the event. He repaired the borders, repaired the holes that were worn through and backed both rugs to keep them from tearing in the future. He backed the second rug without charging me which I thought was both generous and professional. I know he had to rush to get this job done, but he delivered as he said he would. He made sure the rugs were placed exactly as I wanted them. I would highly recommend his services.
