I felt the price for pick up and delivery was much too high for two 6 X 2 Oriental rugs. Other than that the service was prompt,
and polite..

If you want great quality and a great guy to clean your rugs or carpets, Superior is the place to use.  I called up to get an estimate, and Shane, the owner came out the next day.  I was having hardwood floors put in upstairs and had two beautiful oriental rugs that needed cleaning.  Out of all of the estimates that I had gotten, his by far was the best.  There was no stuttering when it came to price or any b.s.  He told me that to clean both rugs - one was 9x12 and the other 6x9 it was $500.00.  I had read the reviews on Angie's list and let him take the rugs while he was at my house.  I told him when I needed them back and they were delivered promptly and on time.  I will always recommend him and use his services again.  It is so refreshing to meet an honest person that does great work.

Everything was perfect except that I wasn't told about the $60.00 pick up and delivery charge, which was a surprise.  But I think it was all fair.  He also informed me that I should ask for an Angie's List Value coupon.  I didn't know anything about that, but I will next time.

Carpet A was a long Yellow/Orange/Brown runner that we had in our hallway.  It is an extraordinary rug, with a knot count of 100 knots per inch. The puppy ate off half the shag on one end, and chewed off about 6 inches of the side binding.  Shane rewove the missing pieces with wool of the exact same colors and matched the missing shag perfectly.  A masterful repair.  Carpet B was something I wove myself when we lived in Nepal in 1976/77.  Here again shag was missing and there was a large tear and worn spot.  Shane matched the colors and rewove the barren parts.  We also had several other carpets cleaned.  They are immaculate.  Superior is a great find for people like us who love our carpets.

Shane came out on July 22, 2013 and picked up my two rugs.  They were rolled up so he was not able to see the extent of cleaning that would need to be done.  Shane gave me a price for normal cleaning of $219 for the larger rug and $109 for the smaller rug.  There was also a $40 pick up and delivery fee.  I told him that there were a few pet stains that might need some special attention.  He said he would look at them at the shop and call me if it was going to cost extra.  I never received a call about an extra charge.  
Shane called me on July 31st and said that he was going to be delivering the rugs the next day.  I asked him about any extra cost for the stains and he said that when they cleaned them they didn't notice any stains.  I was a little worried about that because I knew that there were some stains.
On August 1st Shane delivered the rugs.  I wasn't home at the time so I couldn't check them out myself until later.  I was pleasantly surprised when I unrolled the rugs and didn't see any stains.  My rugs are approximately 10 years old, so obviously they don't look new, but they are clean and I'm happy to have them back.

He was exceedingly knowledgeable. He was accurate, very businesslike, and very professional. The price was very good, he even picked up and delivered from my home. He also was able to value my rugs, which I found to be very helpful.

The owner Shane was very professional and knowledgable. I had 3 large rugs that needed to be cleaned and one was a chocolate coloured sheepskin rug that I thought was beyond restoration. It was covered with orange stains (we think from a pet) and Shane said he would have to try a few things at his shop to see if it could be restored and then would give me a quote. 
He picked up the rugs as scheduled and called a few days later to say the carpet could be restored and gave me a quote. His prices were the best from the 2 other companies I had received quotes from.
My carpets were cleaned, restored, and put in place in there locations throughout the house.
I was very pleased with the quality, professionalism, and competitive pricing. I would definitely recommend and use them again!

Everything went very smoothly, and they did a great job. It took several days to coordinate the delivery with my son, but as I said, it all went fine!

We needed a +20 year old large (8' x 10') area rug cleaned.  While the rug was not real expensive at time of purchase (about $450) it still met our needs and we were not ready to replace it just yet.  Through the years in addition to the weekly vacuuming there have been a few pet accidents on the rug which we cleaned with spray rug cleaners.  The representative from Superior Rug was quite knowledgeable on the type of rug we had and was candied about whether it was worth it to clean the rug.  He said normally the type of rug we have (wool glued onto a jute backing) only lasts about 20 or so years as the glue drys and the rug starts coming apart. However, ours seemed to be in really good shape with the backing still in tact.  He quoted us $280 for pick-up, delivery, and cleaning of the rug and would take about a week.  We agreed and the whole process went exactly as expected.  Went returned the rug looked brand new and we were charged exactly what was quoted. 

We were pleased with the service, and their accommodation of our special pick-up & drop-off needs.  It was super easy to work with them, very fast & convenient, and the rugs are now back to their original condition despite having a couple pet stains we didn't think would come out.  They look great now!

Our oriental rug has been in the household for over 30 years, and - as far as I know - never cleaned!  Superior described their service when I called, and picked up the rug right on time.  They were courteous and knowledgeable, and gave me interesting info about the rug.   The return delivery was also right on time -- and our rug looks like new!!!     Thumbs up all araound!!!

We needed our favorite dhurrie rug cleaned as it had been through a lot (including house training a puppy). After speaking to another company who charged $45 each way just to pick up and drop off the rug, I was relieved when I spoke to Shane and he said  he could pick up and drop off for $20. He came out the next day when he said he would. He took a look at our rug and pointed out some areas which needed repair. His price was very reasonable. He took our rug away and even disposed of a rug pad that we didn't need anymore. It was important that we had the rug back within a certain time frame because we were moving. He had it back when he had promised and the rug looks FANTASTIC! It is so clean and looks brand new...and it doesn't smell like chemicals. I would recommend Shane and Superior Rug Services to anyone. We were very pleased and plan on using them in the future.

lThey gave us a good estimate, identified a number of areas than needed repair (which in fact save two of the handmade rugs and one of the machine made rugs) replaced  the end strings on two of them due to wear  (and cats), They showed up as planned, took the length of time they committed to and showed up with the clean/repaired rungs as advertised. We had good conversations about the rugs, very informative and saw a brilliance of color we had long since forgotten about.

The entire experience is always very positive. I find these gentlemen to be professional and courteous. I am always pleasantly surprised at how beautiful my rug looks when they bring it back to me. Better than I originally hope. With dogs, a busy family and friends, this rug endures a lot of traffic. Superior Rug Service keeps it looking great.

We inherited a large (22' X 12') 90 year old Persian rug from my mother. It was in storage for three years. When we pulled it out of storage is smelled terribly of cat urine was filthy and discolored. Shane cleaned, treated and hand sewed a fring on each end of the carpet. The price included a padding under the carpet.

Shane picked up the carpet, delivered the carpet on time, moved and replaced the furniture. The carpet looks great and my wife is very pleased.

Fine... they showed up on time to look at the carpets and give an estimate. Came back later to pick up and deliver the carpets.  The job took approximately three weeks = we were not in a hurry because this done during a remodeling project.

They did a fantastic job at a reasonable price. They were also very knowledgeable about the rugs and where they came from as well as the care for them.
