My house is hundred years old and there were some structural issues that he had to correct. The job took almost two days. He showed up when he said he would. I talked to a lot of contractors about this job. Most of them wasted my time by never following up with me. Paul came out, looked at the job, and provided me with a reasonable quote. He showed up on time to appointments and kept in great communication with me. Everything went great.

The work proceeded on schedule as promised. Both Paul Walters and his assistant Gunner worked quickly and efficiently.They took great care to keep my house free of  construction debris and left the space as neat and clean as they found it. As I mentioned above Paul took great pains to maintain the integrity of this vintage cottage. The moldings and trim inside and out are identical to the original. Additionally, at my request they saved the original windows and they will be donated to a Habitat building re-store.
I could not be more pleased with Paul Walter's work. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He may not have been the lowest bid on my list, but he was the best. This was a one time replacement and I wanted the best product and the best workmanship. I feel certain that I got both.

It wasn't major stuff. The work went faster than they thought so I was pleased with that. They are small, it is only 2 or 3 guys. Paul actually did some of the work and gave the estimate. I was very pleased with what he did. He prices a little high compared to other people. The quality of the work was great and beautiful. He answered right away when I contacted him. He was very professional. This is what he does and loves to do. I recently called him out to give an estimate because a toilet blew up in my wife's office. I am waiting on the insurance but I would prefer to work with him.

They replaced the entire wood front of my garage which suffered from 40 years of decay and dry rot.  They did exactly what they proposed on the schedule quoted and within the price.  The job was done to my satisfaction.

Paul and his assistant Gunner are professional, creative, very friendly, always prompt and did exceptional work.

Overall, he and his colleague started and finished within his estimated time frame.  This was important to me as we had a diamond rated painting contractor  scheduled to prep and paint our home.  In fact, the painting contractor was the one who recommended Paul Walters Buillders.  He said he had seen his good work on several jobs he had done. Estimates and  contract were very professional.  Work done very acceptable with attention to doing things properly and with attention to detail.  Having worked with Paul, I have great confidence that Paul and his company will do a great job on any project around the home that I might have.  Also, A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH !

Paul is great to work with. On repairs, he really gets to the bottom of the problem so as to fix the underlying cause of issues. He's punctual and courteous, and a pleasure to work with. He's very trustworthy - we have left him unsupervised on several occasions.

We've used Paul for several jobs now and would recommend him to anyone who has a project big or small. First of all, the estimates Paul provides are extremely detailed and very reasonable. Second, he is always on time and the quality of his work is top notch. Finally, Paul is extremely trustworthy and very personable. We recommended him to a co-worker who used him to remodel a kitchen and he was very pleased with the results.

He is coming back because I have a problem with my front door. His rates are very fair and he is very knowledgeable. He used to only do very large projects like remodels, but since the economy has turned down, he has been accepting small jobs. The quality of work is absolutely fabulous. One of the few advantages of this down economy is that I can get someone of his caliber for small jobs. His quality is great and he is very ethical. He doesn't try to sell me on any work that I don't need. You can probably do the work cheaper, but not for the quality. He responds very quickly to email or phone. He has been early every time. I am planning to use him in the future.
