CMS Plumbing

I was given a rate of $89 per hour by this plumber. I stated that the toilet was loose. The plumber arrived early, removed the toilet and determined that a fixture needed to be replaced. He told me didn.t have the part with him. The plumber told me he would have to go and buy the part. He was gone 45 minutes. He didn't indicate that I would be charged for the time. The total cost for the job was $188plus. I was charged $25 for the part without an receipt. I sent an email saying I was not satisfied. I

Very consistent with the necessay replacement work required. Pointed out the need to replace some aged drainage pipes and connections under the sink that had corroded and had been leeking, Completely sastified. Would call them again.

Called me within 10 mins after I placed my request on this website. It was an emergency as one of the joints between pipes developed a crack and hot water was leaking (under sink) in bathroom. Gave a time estimate to show up at my house in 60 min ... kept the word, actually showed up early in 40 min. Gave a very reasonable quote and in/out of my house within 20-30 min. Took all details on phone, so had parts ready and took care of the job at hand professionally.

So far very happy with the people and work. Just one little thing, they walked off with the info on the faucet so I have a call into them now.

They came up on a Saturday, which is emergency service. The builder had put the shutoff in the wrong place, so to stop the water heater from continuing to pour out water, all of the water to the house had to be turned off. CMS promised to arrive with a water heater to get the job done quickly. Unfortunately, the tech wasn't told by the dispatcher, so he arrived late in the day with no water heater and no parts to fix it. They then quoted a four to five hour fix where they would hunt down the parts at an extremely high hourly rate. We were not happy overall and I let them know.

Outstanding response and work.

Extremely fair in terms of explaining the problem to me. Offered up both the shorter term and super cheap solution (minimum 1 hour charge only) as well as longer term fix. After performing the short term fix, technician offered to take care of any other small issues I wanted looked at since the fix only took about 10 mins and I needed to pay for a minimum of one hour. Would definitely use their services again.

I was told the main bathroom sink has a crack and should be covered with another sink -- the existing sink is part of a "banjo" that is made of [simulated] granite (?). Right now I don't know what to do...
