It's not Clickaway...it's just "****away" ...I spent $300 for $225 laptop..I am really **** *** here trusting this mother ******* 50 yrs old family business...I gave my laptop to a ******* son of a ***** called Erik for screen repair and SSD and this ******* literally broke my laptop and installed SSD and it's not working like SSD and super slow. This ******* and there is one Super ******* Thomas Sutherland, said "my laptop got fixed". Now my laptop got broken, can't close it, **** slow, and they ****** up battery too. "They simply say SSD don't work cos it's old laptop..so they don't know before they install cos they put each others disks in their mouths..."...so they can't speak..Erik ******* forcing me to buy another defective laptop...this is how family business works..good tactics!!!!! Pls go to UBREAK WE FIX ...and ask for Brian..the best..just show it to him...there ends mattr....Brand is always Brand..."******** always ******** "

This place is as bad as it gets when it comes to laptop repair. The technicians are worse than old-time car mechanics trying to sell un-needed services. I can't speak to their technical competence because they accomplished *nothing* during the 36 hours that my laptop was there. Their primary concern is summarized by the question "Do you want to spend the money to get this fixed?" To make matter worse, I had to call at day's end - twice - because they couldn't be bothered to inform me that they didn't know what they were doing. Instead they took the opportunity to try to sell me: 1) $199 linux re-install 2) $199 windows re-install 3) $199 data recovery to external HDD 4) $99 HDD That's $700 worth of repairs to a laptop that might be worth $200, and that I'm going to now do for about $10 (the cost of a case for an external ESATA/USB case off one of my other computers).

It went wonderfully. The technician diagnosed the laptop quickly and definitively, and fixed it within 24 hours.  He also used some spare laptop screws to replace some missing screws on our laptop free of charge.

I asked them to repair my Dell desktop computer. Diego made a house call & said the machine's hard disc had failed and would need replacement at the shop. He promised to call back with details of cost and to have machine back within 24 hours. No such luck and I never received a call back from him. After daily calls from me & new promises made by ClickAway and totally ignored by them, and 10 more days, ClickAway reported that they could not move data from old drive to new one. I brought a complete backup I had on a portable hard drive and they said all was fixed. However later I found that file structure had been altered, most files had not been moved, many had been duplicated. It took me 2 weeks to restore data and clean up duplicates. But computer still had problem, it "froze" would not respond to mouse or keyboard on occasion and connections to wireless printer and separate wired printer no longer worked. New USB hub was powered but does not recognize plugged in devices. I called yesterday and was assured that tech would be at my home at 11 am to fix USB issue but no none came and no one called to explain that they would not show. Late yesterday evening after I emailed main office I was messaged about some one calling me today.

Click-Away I have been a Click-Away customer for several years. A satisfied customer -- until recently. I had some work done on my HP laptop and discovered, after the fact, that I had been charged full price when there was a special being offered. I was not informed of the special price and signed the contract. Legally I was told I had signed my name on the paper and that was that! I asked the store manager if that was the way Click-Away treats all its customers and was told to take it up with management because there was nothing HE could do.. So that's exactly what I did. When I explained the issue in person to a corporate officer, he agreed that what happened was wrong and had a check cut for the difference in price. Once again I was a happy Click-Away customer. In the meanwhile I discovered that my security software was no longer working properly after the the above work had been performed. I will not go into details here but after explaining the situation to a corporate officer (a different one this time), he resolved the issue to my total satisfaction. Bottom line: I remain a happy Click-Away customer and will continue going to them for all my computer related needs. (I just won't go back to the store where I encountered the issues cited above.) Click-Away wants happy customers, customers that keep coming back. I am one of those.

I was not happy with them at all. They never showed up. They discussed my problem with me a couple of times on the phone, made an appointment, and then never showed up and never called. Somebody else actually helped me with my computer. They did not give me a quote because they needed to look at the problem. To them, I would recommend that they keep their appointments. They were highly rated, but I did not have any good experience with them. I would give them credit for conversing with me. They were polite on the phone. They did call me back.

Everything went great.  Like many people I did not have a current backup of my data files for my PC when the HDD went bad.  Clickaway was able to recover nearly 100% of my data files.  The work was done quickly and I was back up and running in less than a week.  The staff were professional and personable.  I was very positively impressed and have already directed friends to them for other PC issues.  I can't recommend them highly enough.

They failed to show up for the first appointment and did not call. I told him before he came I had to leave for an appointment at five and was told that would not be a problem, he would be he at 3=2:30. He arrive after four, made changes to my network that disabled my internet connection. Since I was leaving town we agreed he would return Monday afternoon. When he didn't appear, I called the company. It took two call for them to locate me in their records and connect me with the technician. He informed me he was tied up and wanted to come tomorrow. I asked if he could just return and put my network back in the original configuration.

I spent 40 years as a computer executive, my last company was a networking company. When I listened to him explain what he thought was my problem, I did not feel he technically understood the problem I was asking him to fix.

We were having problems with the screen on our laptop.  The screen is blinking out white quite a bit.  I took our laptop into ClickAway's location in Campbell.  The workers were professional in taking the laptop and explaining what they were going to do.  They were going to do a free diagnostic service on the computer to see what was wrong.  They said they would call later that day with the diagnosis.  I ended up calling them back that night since I hadn't heard from them.  They said the problem was the screen itself and they recommended replacing it, which we did.  Ipicked up the computer the next day and everything seemed fine.
However, about a week later our screen problem returned.  I took the laptop back in and they said the case just wasn't closed correctly.  At the store, again the problem seemed fixed.  As soon as I got the computer home, the problem was right back.  I think it is just time for a new computer for us.
Their customer service was great and they did try to work with me to correct the problem again.  However, I did spend money and my problem wasn't fixed.  I think I would try another computer repair place next time just to see if I have better luck.

I brought in my laptop which had a screen which would not turn on. I thought perhaps a cable was loose. The next day they determined that the screen itself was burnt out, advised me the cost of replacing it would not be worth it, and didn't charge me a cent for the diagnosis.
