+ -1 moreAs usual, it went very well. I have been using Steve's Garage for my 1999 Ford Taurus (136,000 miles) for many years, and Steve and George have always been very respectful and accommodating. Steve always takes the car on a test drive (with me) to ascertain for himself what the problem is, and what solution he can apply. He does fast, professional work, and charges what he estimates. I would recommend Steve's Garage very highly for anyone needing an honest and professional auto mechanic who will treat their car with TLC.
Description of Work: Fixed front brakes (shoes and pads) and rotated tires / resurfaced rotor

+ -1 moreOverall, the garage is okay; The staff seem to understand how to interact with customers, but the owner demonstrated poor people skills and came across as rude and annoyed. I expect more from any business where I choose to spend my money. I will not return to this business.
Description of Work: The garage employee, George, was very professional but the owner lacked professionalism. He was rude to my spouse and I on two separate occasions and came across as annoyed that we had questions regarding his diagnosis and recommendations. If a business owner can't take the time to patiently and polietly explain this type of thing to customers who are interested & want to understand, then perhaps the customer service industry is the wrong line of work for them. There are plenty of garages in the area so if you want to be respected, listened to or just treated with dignity then you may want to go elsewhere, or just deal with George.
