They are really fantastic! The owner explained clearly all my options to decide on the path forward. The entire crew that did the work was exceptional: punctual, responsive to all my questions and requests, a beautiful work product, hard-working, and knowledgeable.

Beautifully!!! Daniel did a great job when he originally floated and installed the flooring approximately 5 years ago. We had product left over and he told us to keep it just in case. Well, just in case happened when we remodeled our kitchen and when bottom cabinets were installed the difference in sizes between old cabinets and new ones left holes in the flooring. We called Daniel who responded within a day and was at the house within 2 days to see what our problem was and a week later the floor was fixed - you CAN NOT tell where the original floor stops and the repair begins. On a side note, about 2 years ago, I dropped a cast iron skillet on the floor that hit just right and puckered up the linoleum. Daniel to the rescue! He coaxed the flooring back in position, glued it down and you CAN NOT tell where I almost ruined the floor. If you have flooring issues - call Daniel! Great service, great work - you won't be disappointed.

I really loved working with these guys. quick to come out and give an estimate; creative with the fix we needed for a gap caused by subsidence. They showed up on time, worked cleanly and efficiently and the work was great. We even then hired them to install a new laminate floor in my mom's kitchen. I really loved these guys and would use them again.

Excellent! Have used M & M in the past to do a larger bedroom and their work was so professional I didn't even consider using anyone else when I had another bedroom to recarpet. Again, Daniel promptly assessed th situation, brought samples to me, gave me a reasonable estimate, ordered the carpet, informed upon arrival, promptly scheduled installation at a time convenient to me. On time, on schedule, price exactly as quoted. All the while I was dealing with the stress of a family member in he hospital! His personal, caring attention to my situation made the whole process seamless and problem free. If you want professional craftsmanship and personal attention, Daniel and M & M are the way to go. Could not recommend more highly.

My wood floor extends from my kitchen out into my dining room. The kitchen flooring had never been resurfaced or protected and it became so badly worn that it was no longer a candidate for refinishing. I was concerned about finding a wood that was close in finish and color to the remainder of my flooring. M&M came up with a very compatible wood, and suggested laying one of the new boards across the threshold area between the two rooms to separate them visually. The tear out of my old floor and replacement with the new one was all done in just a day and a half by the skilled, careful and really pleasant crew. They also replaced some boards which had suffered termite damage in another area of my home. I'm highly pleased with the job they did, and plan to use them in the future to reseal the remainder of my wood flooring.

I was very pleased with all aspects of the job. Mike was very easy to work with and his crew was excellent in completing the project with precision and care. They showed up as scheduled, did a very good job, explained the process when I had questions, and cleaned the job site when they were done each day of the project that they were here. I have had other work done at my home and keeping the work site clean and respecting my property was appreciated as thats not always the case. As this was renovation on an existing room and not new construction Mike and his crew had to work around some things that would not be removed. They were very careful with some wires that could not be removed that were part of the alarm system. Mike also improved on a thresh hold from one room to another that had not been installed property by a different flooring company prior. The price was fair and the work was completed very professionally and on time. Mike and his office staff were very good about being in contact me to coordinate schedules and return my call. I had never done a project of this scope regarding flooring but Mike had and his experience and knowledge showed. I would recommend them to my friends.

We acquired our current home last December. It's a beautifully charming home, but the dining/hallway wood floor looked old/faded. M&M brought the floor back to life, exposing a beautiful natural wood. The team was professional, friendly, competent and very thorough - we're very happy and feel we got good value from this 'investment'...M&M wasn't the cheapest, but they moved fast and efficiently.

This company is very professional. I left a message and they returned my call promptly. Upon discussing the nature of the problem with me, they scheduled an appointment for MIke to meet with me at the property and review what was needed to correct it. I met with Mike who was very courteous and professional. He discussed with me what they were proposing to do and answered all of my questions. The tricky part was that the damage left by the tenant had been improperly attended to by the vendor, who in sanding the damaged area down to raw wood, made it more difficult to match the surrounding stain color. While I was disappointed that the damaged area was not able to be completely blended iwith the surrounding floor, I do understand what they were up against. Overall I am pleased with how great the floors look and how great Mike and his team were to work with. They even provided me with a list of recommended cleaners suitable for wood floors. Lastly, Mike went to bat for me when I submitted the repair bill to the company responsible for the bad work that had necissitated the repair. While initially they fought me on it, Mike's letter to them earned me a sizable discount on their service.

I worked with Daniel and he was great! He took the time to educate us about all of the carpet and hardwood options and didn't try to upsell us. We weren't sure if the hardwood in the house was refinish-able or not and he came out and inspected it and showed me that it was possible to refinish it once even though it was engineered flooring. He was also extremely accomodating schedule-wise. One bedroom had terrible cat urine smells and he came and ripped out the carpet and tack strip right away so I could use a urine destroying cleaner on the subfloor. After several weeks when our other renovations were finished he came and did the upstairs carpet and then refinished the hardwood floors. All the floors look amazing and his crew were a pleasure to work with.

Mike is a wonderful contractor! He runs his business personally & professionally with great care & concern. He came for a free estimate on the day we called him, helped us choose great flooring to match the flooring in the rest of our condo, creatively & thoughtfully considered how we could get the work scheduled to make it easy for us, scheduled within the time frame we agreed on, and brought wonderful perfectionists to complete the work on time beautifully. The workers were always punctual, pleasant, and professional. We needed to have each room done separately, with a day in between to move from one room to another. There were some unusual challenges that they solved: allowing a flow of flooring from the hall to the Master bedroom and creating a cover for a tiny step to the patio. We really enjoyed working with Mike & his workers and are so pleased with the result! I can't praise them enough! Having used many contractors in the past for various remodeling of homes, M & M was the actually the first easy & pleasant experience with a great result!

They did an excellent job. The flooring consultation in their showroom was very helpful. They arrived on time at the job site ready to work. They kept me informed of things that needed to be done. They took pride in the quality of work provided. I would go back to them to do another job.

We were very pleased with M&M Flooring. They have a nice showroom and took their time showing us everything and explaining the difference in the carpets. Daniel came out for the initial estimate and was very thorough answered all our questions. Was very knowledgeable in both wood floors and carpeting. He took his time and was very professional. The carpet layers were extremely good and did a beautiful job. We have had many carpets laid and this was, by far, the best. They were punctual, pleasant, careful with our furniture and did a very clean job. We highly recommend them.

I emailed them Saturday night about refinishing our hardwood floors, they came over and gave a quote first thing Sunday morning, and their crew was done with the work by Monday at noon. Such a quick turnaround, plus Mike gave us a fair price and a ton of helpful advice about maintaining our floors. I've driven by their storefront on Burbank Blvd. a million times -- good to know they do such great work!

They were fantastic. They did a fantastic, amazing job and I am actually using them on another job. The end product was fantastic and the communication, their rates and how they came in and worked was great. They did a really good job.

M & M re carpeted my family room. Was going to have my old worn out family room carpet removed and replaced with a laminated or engineered wood floor. Mike came out and was the only bidder who asked to look under the carpet to see what was underneath. Been here 17 years and I never looked. Assumed it was concrete. He pulled up a corner or the carpet and found that it was an old asbestos tile floor over the concrete. Said he couldn't lay a wood floor over it and it would have to be removed 1st. He informed me he didn't remove asbestos floors and it would be expensive to have it done. Re carpeting over it however would not disturb it. After reconsidering I decided to go with a premium carpet. They have a wide variety of carpets to choose from and were very accommodating with providing me carpet samples. If they didn't have them in stock, they ordered them and sent them to my house. On the day of the install his crew of 2 showed up on time, went straight to work removing the ancient carpet and old pad. Cleaned up and installed my new carpet. Hauled away the old. Very happy with the result. Mike and his crew always showed up on time for all appointments. Very professional and highly recommended.

I need the floors refinished in one unit of my duplex, so I thought. Turns out I may need all new floors! M&M arrived on time and was very professional, he broke the news to me about the floors. He was very attentive to what I wanted to have done. I'm still getting bids, but I would definitely contact them for any flooring project. I can tell they would be a great company to work with.

I called Mike at M and M Flooring to ask him to replace the baseboards in a long hallway that had recently been repainted since he had done such a great job putting in baseboards in our family room after his company had installed new oak hardwood flooring. I was hesitant to call him because this wasn?t a very big job. However, Mike took on the task with no hesitation and did an excellent job. He treated this much smaller job in the same professional way he had treated our much larger project. I've since called on Mike's company to retile a small bathroom. I definitely plan to call him when I need to have other hardwood floors in my home refinished!

Our most recent job involved retiling a very small bathroom/powder room that we had had tiled approximately two years prior. We'd had nothing but problems with the bathroom after having it tiled. (We wish we had had Mike tile this bathroom to begin with, but we had not discovered his company yet.) The grout was constantly coming out, so we had two different contractors come out to regrout to no avail. Finally, we contacted Mike who told us the grout wouldn?t hold because the floor itself was loose. Mike agreed to take on the project; however, he was not be able to get to this project for about three weeks because of prior commitments. We agreed to wait as we didn?t want to take a chance on someone new. We were so glad we waited! It turns out that after the bathroom was first tiled, the toilet was installed improperly and had been leaking very slowly. So when Zach and Hugo came out to replace the tile, they had to rip up the subflooring and replace it before they could lay the new tile. Zach and Hugo were troopers and did what needed to be done, replacing the damaged flooring, and then retiling. These were unexpected problems, and Zach and Hugo went above and beyond the call of duty. The floor came out great, and we are more than pleased. Thank you, Mike and company! Can't recommend this company highly enough!

We located Mike through Angie?s List when we needed to have our carpeting removed and hardwood flooring installed in our family room. Mike came out promptly, gave us a detailed estimate, and answered all our questions about what needed to be done and how he would go about doing it. We?ve had other hardwood flooring installed, and we have to say that this is the best experience that we have had. Mike and his team removed the existing carpet. George and Ralph installed the new oak floor boards and did an amazing job. The process they used to sand the floor before staining truly minimized dust. I?ve had other hardwood flooring refinished, and keeping the dust to a minimum was definitely a plus! Armando stained the wood and did a wonderful job of matching the color of the flooring in the adjoining dining room. He also laid planks in a way that smoothed the transition between the two rooms. Mike and Hugo installed baseboards for the new floor using the same type of molding that had been used in the connecting rooms. Throughout the entire process, everyone involved showed up on time, worked quietly and professionally each day, and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. This is probably the neatest group of contractors we?ve ever had work in our home! Since this first project, we?ve called Mike back two more times, first to install new baseboards in a long hallway that had been repainted and then to replace tile in a small bathroom. We definitely recommend Mike and his crew very highly!

Mike and his team sanded, repaired, and refinished our 90 year old wood floors beautifully. The previous home owners put in brand new wood laminate floors in the kitchen that were a completely different color than anything else in the house, and M & M refinished the original hardwood floors throughout to match the color wonderfully. Mike and his office staff were very responsive to all of our questions and concerns, and worked hard to complete the project within our narrow timeline. Except for sacrificing quality, Mike was willing to do anything to make sure we were happy and he delivered as promised.
