I hired John Holden to paint the exterior of my home, including porch and walkway. From start to finish, they were consummate professionals. The bidding process was done in a timely fashion, followed by a signed contract outlining the scope of the work. I didn't pay them ANYTHING until the job was completed to my satisfaction. John, Charlie and a 6 man crew with a foreman, arrived on time, did excellent prep and worked very quickly, coming back for touch ups as needed. If you are looking for a professional company that communicates clearly and doesn't hang around your house for 2 weeks, then this is the company for you. My house has been completely transformed. 5 stars!!

They are expensive, but I hired them because they told me that they are general contractors and roofers so they could help with other small areas in need of improvement. However, once they started they job, they said they were unable to complete items that we had discussed. They said that they would stain the doors, but then said it wouldn't look good and that I shouldn't paint them either. They said they would fix a door that didn't close properly. They weren't able to do that either. They said they would patch the roof, but it ended up costing alot more money to fix. They painted a swatch on the building in the shade which I approved. But it was for the walkway and when they started to paint in the sun on a different surface it looked very different. John said that he could not change the color, it would delay the project a day and he had another project to start. He said he would be back for a few touch ups and to remove some wood. He never came back. They painted the retaining wall and I had to keep pointing out areas that were not smooth. They just wanted to get the job over with and move on. I was very disappointed.

Excellent group of men! From start to finish, every person gave us the utmost respect and kindness. Communication is exceptional with John, Charlie and the painters. Any questions, they would answer and explain in detail about the answer. Crew showed up on time, worked hard, were quiet and cleaned up well each day. They even surprised us by painting our cat house to match the house and wrote Kitty above the opening - we were so touched by this kind gesture. Our house was pressure washed, prepped, cracks filled, sanded and painted in one day less than we expected! The quality of work is wonderful and has made us so happy. THANKS TO ALL who worked on our house from John Holden Inc.

They worked with us on the price. They were very professional. The crew was great there was no mess left for me to clean up after. They removed things attached to the house instead of just painting around them. They did 2 walk throughs when they were done. They did everything I asked for and more. I will definitely be using the for every project I need done in the future. I couldn't be happier.

The men that did the job were very professional they went right to their assignments. They seemed to be working on all 4 sides of the house at. The same time. Obviously they did a good job for we are having them paint and do some repairs to our other house.
