It was a day that we had a lot of guest over, we called hard hat plumbing company they responded too my call emediatly. They got the job done for me in less than a hour. Very quick and clean service. Very professional and organized people, and very experienced. I'm very happy with the service that I received from them and I would recommend that company too everyone.

Good price. Unfortunately They do not serve my area, Marina del Rey. Have to request refund from Angies's list.

Raffi, the owner was able to come and help on the same day of my call. He was friendly and good with my dog. Did the rooter job well, and gave me tips to prevent problems in the future. He also changed the handle and flushing component of the toilet which was broken. Happy with the service. So the cost of the service was for the rooter, scoping the line, and replace the toilet handle.

Raffi first ran the camera done the line and it stopped. He pulled out the camera and snaked the line going in approximately 90ft. While the snake was it the line we flushed the toilets but there was still not much flow. He proceeded with operating the snake a little longer then pulled it out. Uh oh, it was stuck! He worked at it and when it finally came out of the clean out it had tons of roots on it. Ugh! He then went in with the camera again and showed me the root penetration which was at least 6 different spots. He left the camera in the bad section and went to determine with the trouble spot is with his meter. He established the area and disclosed the fix. It isn't cheap but the sewer lines are old i.e. clay and cast iron combination. That coupled with excessive digging plus materials establishes the cost.

The phone was answered immediately when I called to set the appointment, and Raffi showed up a few minutes before the scheduled window of time. He quickly assessed the leak that resulted from a pipe that was cut too short and improperly joined with fittings on either end. He replaced the pipe and fittings and wrote up a bill, all in about 30 minutes' time. He was honest, prompt and courteous, and I would definitely hire him again!

Called Raffi and met me at my home within a day. Raffi looked over the job and gave me an estimate to run the gas line to my deck including a shut-off valve. Raffi reviewed how the line would be run and where it would be best to come up through the deck. I've used California Green Plumbing many times before and what I like the best is the quality in which the work is done. Professional. No sloppiness. The line was run perfectly.

I called at about 1:00 on a Saturday, and they arranged to be here at 2:00. They were punctual, handled the problem in minutes and charged me exactly as quoted. They even took the time to check the pipes and tighten the joints at no extra charge. I was very impressed and would use them again!

The job was difficult because the valve stems inside the faucets were more than 30 years old. The heads of the screws that hold the rubber washer in place had completely dissolved and could not be removed with a screwdriver. Raffi had to remove the rubber and machine the screws out in his truck, then replace the screws hoping it would all fit together again, and it did. He also replaced the old hoses, which were starting to leak under the sink. Due to a scheduling misunderstanding that was my fault, he showed up for he job he day before, but I wasn't home. He did not charge me for a service call, even though it was my mistake. Raffi is professional, experienced, knowledgeable, punctual, fair priced and even clean and a nice guy.

I used him a couple of times in January. I found him on Angie's List initially. He was great. He is now my new plumber.

Our kitchen sink stopped up. We are not particularly handy but attempted to clear the drain ourselves. As it turned out the clog was beyond the P trap. When we tried to connect the pipes again, we could not get them connected without leaking. Time to call in the professionals. Based on his Angies List reviews, I called Rafi. He came the next day. I had purchased a new garbage disposal a few months ago so this was the perfect time to have it installed. Rafi came, installed the garbage disposal, snaked the drain and had me doing dishes again in short order. I will definitely use him again. I have a small bathroom remodel planned and he will be the first plumber I call.

Raffi came on time, as agreed. I had ordered a new disposal because I thought the old one was hopelessly broken. He fixed the old one, saving us the price of the new disposal. He was polite, cleaned up after himself, and good humored. We will definitely use him in the future!

On a visit to my mother's home in Glendale, we could hear water running the front yard. Nothing was visible, so I checked with the city water dept and found we were leaking around 30 gallons an hour. I called California Green Plumbing and talked to Raffi on a Friday afternoon and told him about the mystery leak. He managed to come out late that afternoon, found the leak and put a cap on the bad pipe. He said he would return with the required valves on Monday to make the final repairs. Our visit was just for a few days, and he was really great at accommodating our schedule.

Raffi is the best around! Calif. Green Plumbing did it again, taking care of a problem quickly, with very a reasonable hourly rate. This is my third time with CGP and each time I know that Raffi is not going to try to up-sell me on services I don't need, or stretch out the work to bump the price. He gets in, diagnoses what needs to be fixed and then takes care of it. This time I had a hot water tap that was frozen, and was worried it would have to be replaced, but now the hot water working great Couple of years ago he hydro-jetted and cleared out the main sewer line to the street, which was clogged with tree roots. The main is still draining fine now. We have an older house from the '30's, and sometimes extra care needs to be taken with repairs, which I trust CGP to handle. Some other reviewers may have issues or complaints, but I can only speak from my own experience with Raffi and California Green. Professional, prompt, very reasonable prices for service and most of all an honest plumber! Thank you, Raffi.

Raffi, called before his arrival and actually showed up early. I found him to be highly professional, personable and incredibly knowledgable. I had a couple of different options with regard to how I wanted the rerouting to go and he explained the advantages and disadvantages of both. He works quick and smart and was upfront with the price which seemed more than reasonable. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND California Green Plumbing and plan on using Raffi again. Great experience. I think the D he received on the prior review is absolutely absurd, and unfair. The man knows what he's doing, its obvious. SMART, FAST, and of the highest quality.

It went as well as can be expected

I keep giving this guy second chances and I don't know why. First suggestion I have is to not call his 818 number, he will not return your message. The 800 number seems to get him sooner. Our toilet came unbolted from the floor, and the diverter valve on the kitchen faucet had long ago stopped working. He fitted the toilet bolts with larger washers, replaced the wax ring, and bolted it back together. So far no issues there. On the diverter valve he took the old valve out. He told me they were hard to find and replaced it with one that was close. He said he was going to take the original to because he thought he knew where to find one, and replaced it with one that was 'close'. It kinda worked for a couple hours but then failed. He never called back, I called the 818 number, left a message, which again he did not respond to. Today I called the 800 number and he answered. I asked him about the diverter valve of which he now says he left the original in the faucet. He says he is unable to find a replacement at the typical places like Home Depot. So now I have to look for the part without the original one to compare new ones with. In all he was at the house for about 15 minutes. The charge - $160. I thought that was a bit steep but since he was going to be spending time looking for the part I figured it was ok. In the meantime I had the wax ring on the toilet in our second house replaced. That plumber was also there for about 15 minutes. His charge - $60. Raffi has done work here before, other than not returning phone messages (he did finally call back after I left a bad review here), on those occasions it seemed to go ok and be reasonably priced. So he gets a B for past efforts (except calling back) and a D for this most recent one.

After another service provider no-showed me without a phone call, I called Raffi and he was here within an hour. Raffi cleared the drain quickly and we were able to continue with our laundry. Outstanding response time and the work was done professionally and quickly. I'll be calling Raffi from now on for our plumbing needs.

Raffi showed up early got right to work and took care of all the issue in a flash. I'm very happy with the work.

My shower has been draining slower and slower for the last few weeks and Liquid Plumber didn't seem to do anything. Called Cal Green this morning and was told he would be able to get by between noon and 1 today. I asked him to call me when he is 10 minutes out (I work close to home, so I could get step out to meet him). He called at 11:20 and asked if he could come by early. I drove home and he arrived a minute after I did. He was able to fix the problem in about 15 minutes, brought in his own cleaning supplies to clear the area. The whole process took less than 30 minutes and for a very reasonable price. Cal Green is my 'go-to' plumber for here on out.
