I are so pleased with the work that Raffi did for me. My water heater, which was still under warranty, had a few parts in need of replacing. I am grateful for Raffi's hard work and honesty; another plumber I called before calling Raffi didn't touch the water heater, didn't investigate to see if it was under warranty, and immediately recommended replacing the entire unit at a cost of $2,300. Knowing that this was a dishonest estimate, I called Raffi at 5:30 on Monday evening and he set up an appointment for the repair at noon the next day. He asked me to send him the model and serial number for the water heater so he could pick up the part he thought needed replacing before he came out to inspect and repair. Unfortunately, this was not the faulty part but he quickly identified what did need replacing and went to retrieve the part. We made arrangements for him to return at the next mutually convenient time and he arrived on time and replaced the faulty part in 30 minutes. He explained the work he was doing and answered all of my questions and was very responsive to my phone calls. Furthermore, his price was very reasonable, especially considering that he had to make two trips to the plumbing supply store and two visits to my house. I HIGHLY recommend Raffi at California Green Plumbing.

The workman arrived on time and was very personable and professional. He completed the repairs in under an hour from when he arrived. He reviewed the repairs he had made with me and clarified what he had done. We discussed future projects and he was very informative about cost savings and tax credits. It was my first experience in choosing a service provider after joining Angie's List and I am very glad I did and that I chose this company to take care of my repairs.

We called the service and explained exactly what needed to be done: Install a new vanity with new counter-top, sinks and fixtures. They said it would be around $300 to $400 depending on what all needed to be done. When they arrived, they seemed surprised that they had to install a vanity and the countertop. Someone was apparently not paying attention when we made our initial call. So after they looked at everything, they quoted us a price at around $1,200.00. Kind of disappointing and sort of a waste of everybody's time. We decided to shop around a little.

Raffi did a couple jobs for me a couple years back. He was prompt, courteous, did a great job, and charged great rates. Just what you want in a service tech. A while back I called him regarding a plugged drain. He was busy and couldn't make it out until late that afternoon. The drain cleared itself just before he called to say he was on the way. Since the issue was resolved, and he said he had other work, I cancelled the appointment. Since then he refuses to respond to calls. I've had several jobs I've called him for and have gotten no response. I hate to think one cancelled appointment got me blacklisted, or perhaps it's because I didn't respond to his Linked-in requests (I don't do Linked-In, am I really supposed to join a business media site to receive further service?) but blacklisted I seem to be. Seems kinda petty from someone I thought was an outstanding service provider.

Raffi was very responsive and arrived promptly. I originally called him for what I thought were 3 issues (drain clog, hot water issue and water filter). The hot water and water filter were easy "fixes" and he very graciously helped to correct them (and these were areas that he could have very easily lied and charged me for but did not). The drain clog was a bit more difficult - unfortunately the pipe that was installed is not up to code so in order to clear it, he had to take the pipe off - it was not just a simple snake job. He very neatly drained the water into a bucket (and moved my bathmat out of the way so that it didn't get dirty) - and proceeded to clear the pipe - the result was this huge gunky mess. He cleaned up after and even resealed a different section of the drain that was leaking. I was thrilled with the level and quality of service provided. Will definitely call him again if needed.

First of all, this was the first time I've ever had any repairman, let alone plumber, actually show up right on time. He said he was going to be there at 2, he was there at 2 (Not expecting such promptness, we didn't get home until 4 minutes after 2). He had everything done in 10 minutes. He was friendly, courteous and efficient. Actually, the whole reason I signed up for Angie's list was to try to find a good plumber (having been quite unsuccessful every time in the past). I now have a go to plumber.

Raffi showed up early!!! He snaked the main line which was severely clogged with tree roots, He then used his camera line to show the issues with the breaks in the main line. He then explained in detail what it would take to fix it. He was quite thorough and took the time to answer all our questions.

Very prompt, neat and quick at a reasonable price.

I have used another plumbing service for the yearly clearing of sewer line tree roots. Recently, perhaps because of a change in their personnel, within a 1 month period it was necessary to call them twice for the same problem (and also pay a double charge for weekend service). A week later - the third time for the same problem - I called Raffi instead, and I couldn't be more pleased with his service. I called on a Saturday morning and he promptly arrived at the agreed upon time - with no extra charge for the weekend. After clearing the sewer line, he showed me with the camera the breaks in the clay pipes and reason for the root problem. Of the options presented, I chose the trenchless pipe replacement. The following week he and his crew arrived as scheduled and replaced the sewer line. They were pleasant, efficient, professional and didn't mind my numerous questions about the process. As Raffi promised, the crew was careful to return my yard to the same condition as it was before the work began. I highly recommend Raffi and California Green Plumbing. One of the best experiences I've had with an Angie's List service provider.

He was on time ,very nice and made me feel comfortable and trust what he was saying was correct.I will def call him again for future repairs.Oh also dog friendly.

Raffi is awesome, friendly and clearly knows what he is doing. We made an appointment for Monday, he did have to cancel because he was helping someone else with am emergency. But he called at 9 am promptly to reschedule and was very apologetic. On the day of the reschedule, he arrived on-time to the minute! Unloaded the new very heavy toilet from my car so that I didn't have to. Gave me a very reasonable bid on the spot which my husband and I agreed to, and got to work. He and his partner were very clean and efficient and got the job done in record time. I had another toilet that was making a really annoying running noise, that Raffi just went ahead and fixed for me without my asking, at no charge. When they were finished, Raffi actually lowered the price!! He decided that he had over bid, and gave us a discount. This after he fixed the extra toilet, and he also took my old toilet away and disposed of it as well. I was so impressed that I recommended him on the spot to my neighbor. Use Raffi. You won't be sorry. I will use him again in a heartbeat. Finally an honest plumber!

Raffi worked with me to make sure the list was completed and maintained a professional attitude while doing so.

The work seemed fine at the time, but the copper re-piping (which should last many many years) failed after less than 2 years causing a lot of expensive damage to the house. This plumber is no longer doing copper re-piping. I'm not surprised.

Raffi was great. This particular plumbing project was one of my more extensive projects, and I was wary of getting someone who was well reviewed and experience in the area. Raffi was punctual in arriving for a quote, VERY competitive on price, and in general, just had a very comforting demeanor about him which made me feel like he knew what he was doing. In the end, I went with a quote which was very similar in pricing (only slightly smaller) in large part because I had worked with the contractor before and knew him personally. Raffi absolutely would have been a fine choice too though that I would have been comfortable making.

Great. Really nice. Showed up on time. Very professional & HONEST. Provided sound advice. Absolutely no problems. Couldn't be happier. Will have no hesitation recommending them to anyone.

Scheduled an appointment to install a dishwasher last Thursday and had appointment for today (Monday). Rafi was able to get an appointment scheduled quickly for a time that worked well. Also, I was pleasantly surprised when he said he'd be there by 10 and was there within 5 minutes of the time given. Rafi had a second employee show up to finish the job quickly and as the second man worked on uninstalling the old machine Rafi took time to look around the house to point out to this new homeowner where all of the major pipes were (something I hadn't made time to do myself). Then, back inside, the old machine was swiftly removed and placed outside to be replaced by the new machine standing by. The job was done quickly and within an hour, as promised. The price was great compared to all other plumbers I could find that provided similar services. Timing was prompt and service was pleasant. Five stars!

I've already used California Green Plumbing a month ago for a different problem and was very happy with the results. Similar outcome this time. The plumbers were on time. Took off the toilet and found a lot of roots that were interfering with the flush. They took out the roots and suggest to run a flush with root killer once a month to prevent future problems. Definitely will call this company again when needed.

We've used Raffi 3 times now, and each time he has been on time, has worked very fast, done an excellent job, and charged us a very fair price. He's my plumber for life, and I cannot praise him highly enough! Bill

This is the first time I?ve used Cal Green Plumbing. Raffi was able to come out the same day, arrived on time and did a nice job rotor cleaning my sewer line. He showed me the thick roots that were causing the clog and he also ran the camera thru the line so I could see where problem areas are. There is a second clean-out in a utility room and he cleaned from there also until it was clear to the front clean-out. He was friendly and professional, and also very good with my dog which is a plus. I recommend him!

I had a couple of annoying leaks in the bathroom toilet tanks that were 'easy' to contain with a small bowl under the leak. Finally, another leak started under a kitchen sink that I could not ignore anymore. Called California Green Plumbing to fix the problems. The plumber came on time and quickly fixed the leaking pipes. A couple of days later I noticed the leak in one of the bathrooms again. Called Rafi and explained the problem. The visit was promptly scheduled. The plumber came back and fixed the final problem by replacing worn out parts in the toilet tank. Two weeks later I am happy to report there are no leaks :-)
