Everything went smoothly. Drain was unclogged in a matter of a few minutes. I'm very happy with the work that was done. Raffi was very personable and professional.

The owner, Raffi Bardakjian, came out in the previous week to inspect the old clay sewer line, which had begun to back up due to roots. He explained carefully what had to be done and the potential challenges of the project, which were considerable as the sewage line ran under a concrete driveway. The company uses the latest technology. He researched with the city and pulled permits. With a competitive bid, his crew came out to remove concrete from the driveway and found the main connector at the street, which was really at the edge of the front yard, which required digging a very deep hole. His crew was courteous, friendly, and respectful. They were particularly nice in explaining how the whole project worked as it moved forward. Very informative. Really friendly. Within a day, the whole project was finished. The next day they cleaned everything up and even the large hole in the front yard is barely discernible. Really fantastic work. Very professional and cordial group of people.

Our plumbing backed up in house and I inspected clean out and confirmed main line sewer was clogged. Knew from past experience would be roots. Called 1:30 Friday afternoon, left message. The owner, Raffi, called back within 30 minutes and stated he could be there in 45 minutes. Quoted $160 over phone after confirming there were exterior clean outs. Arrived on time, moved snake up & down steps (we are on a hill) and cleaned out both locations. Stated he came out because his crew was busy on other projects. Would definitely recommend and hire again.

The water was not draining in one of my showers and backing up into my bathtub and one of my toilets would not flush. In the early evening I spoke to Raffi the owner of California Green Plumbing and told him that I would like main sewer line cleaned out. He told me that he would not be able to arrive for 1-1 1/2 hours. I was pleasantly surprised when he arrived at my house in 50 minutes. Raffi is very personable and professional and did an excellent job of cleaning out my main sewer line. I would highly recommend California Green Plumbing and will use their services again when I have plumbing problems.

Most recently, Raffi came on time and fixed a drainage problem. We continue to call him when we need plumbing help because, in the past, he has handled much larger problems, such as a leak that was extremely difficult to detect under the floor (in a concrete slab). He kept his men on the job for parts of three days until he was able to resolve it, and he handled the problem very professionally. We failed to provide a review previously, but we greatly appreciate his expertise, and we recommend him highly.

The guys did a great job. We have two sewer main lines and we were having a problem with roots in one of them. The guys jetted that line, but upon inspecting the cleared line, they noticed that we also had some issues with our other main line, so they jetted that line as well, at no additional cost. They could have easily just not mentioned it and saved themselves from having to do the extra work, but instead, they did mention it, and promptly took care of the problem. Really nice of them, and super appreciated by us!

I didn't review this service call at the time, so I am guessing is was about three years ago. We noticed that this house didn't have an up-tp-date earthquake shutoff valve when we bought it, so we decided to make that right. This was a no-muss-no-fuss installation. Thank you!

Very nice plumber, easy to set appointment and he's prompt to arrive. His prices are great, very reasonable and less than other quotes we got. One thing: he does not re-plaster the wall after he's done. Over the years I have had repairs when the plumber did re-plaster the wall and other times when they don't. This is not a negative for this plumber's work, it's just a head's up, so you know.

Very professional and honest company. I paid for a garbage disposal replacement and that went smoothly and quickly. I think asked if he could look at our broken toilet and give us a quote on how much it would cost to repair it, so I run it past the landlords/roommates first. He noticed the toilet problem immediately and it was a very quick fix: just shortening a tube. He did that for free! He could have said something like "oh that'll cost $100 and I can come back later to do that", especially since it was clear I had no idea how plumbing works so anyone could have taken advantage of that. But he just went ahead and applied the quick fix immediately for free. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

Early in the day, we were preparing for a big family and friends dinner and the kitchen sink stopped draining. I called Raffi at California Green Plumbing and he said that he could come out between 4-5 pm. In fact, he showed up around 2 pm and promptly diagnosed the problem, cleared the drain completely. He said that it was such a minor deal, that he reduced his price for the service call to only $50. I was delighted and astonished. I then told him that we also had a slow-running drain in our master bath and asked him to take a look at that. He proceeded to clear it in very short order. Then, I mentioned that the hose on our kitchen sink faucet was spraying a bit of water from the sides...would he take a look at that. He took the kitchen faucet partially apart, tried to fix the 'leak' and said that we would need a new hose. But since we had all the paperwork on it, that we should contact Price Fister and they would send us out a replacement hose at no charge. He said that this model has a Lifetime Warrantee. Total charge for all that Raffi did was $75 which I consider to be a true bargain! He was prompt, professional, efficient, effective and a real pleasure to do business with. I would recommend California Green Plumbing most highly!!

Raffi responded within an hour and a half, identified the problem and cleared the clog in 10 minutes. I had previously tried my own snake with no results at over 15 feet, Raffi said my snake probably went up into the vent instead of down into the lower drain, because his did too at first. I asked about a $99 deal on the Angie's site when I called, and he said it would probably be lower, depending on time spent. He charged me $69. I've found an honest plumber, and will use him for other efforts as needed!

Thanks to all the good folks who wrote such great reviews on Angie's List, I called Raffie when my laundry room drain backed up. And now I have a new plumber! I phoned Raffie at 6:45 this morning, we met at the house just before 1 p.m. (he arrived early), and by 1:45 he was done and I was on my way back to work. It pretty much doesn't get any better than that - except for the price. The cost was $89. Fantastic! When I made that call early this morning, I was hoping to find someone who was professional, knowledgable, prompt, fairly priced, honest and courteous, and that is EXACTLY who I found. I will be calling him again - and I have already given his card to a friend. I would recommend him without reservation, Thank you, Angie's list!

The first time Raffi came out was 11/30/2014 for a plugged up kitchen sink and he was a Lifesaver! I had stacks of pots and pans from a huge dinner and had quite the mess - in fact he came out on a Sunday (cost was $ 108.00) I was really grateful. Raffi was very professional thorough and had also given me the $ 350.00 quote for the installation of a new supply line. My original supply line had a leak and we had to turn the water off to that line which meant no ice cubes and filtered water. The original line was run underneath custom cabinets which meant an entirely new line had to be run through the backs of several cabinets. Based on the first time I hired them again. For this job his technician Narek arrived on time and was very pleasant and professional and also kept me in the loop as to what he was doing. When the job was completed he cleaned everything up for me even behind the refrigerator. I feel these guys went the extra mile and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Raffi was great. He came as scheduled for to address water flow issues and fix some leaks. He was quick, clean and efficient and pleasant as well. I also asked him to service the tankless hot water heater, which had some corroded piping. I had not mentioned the water heater until he arrived, so he came back the next day with the valves and piping necessary, fixed it so that it was better than the way it was originally installed (it originally lacked cleanout drain valves) and serviced and decalcified the heater. What was really great was the fact that this is a new house and I had a whole host of questions, including the sewer line, hot water recirculation, water softening etc. most of which did not involve immediate work. He actually ran a camera down the sewer line without additional charge, and patiently discussed all of the issues and options even though I was clear that I was mostly collecting information about what to do in the future when we renovate. I highly recommend!

After the purchase I left both emails and two voicemails and have never heard anything back from them. I gave them a few days to respond, but nothing. I am just canceling this service with them.

I had a little delay in getting a call back to schedule this appointment, but once I did, Raffi came out quickly and took care of the problem. He is very professional and takes the time to explain everything he is doing. I highly recommend California Green Plumbing.

The gentleman did the work as promised and did it well, and he didn't leave a mess. However, he charged a very high price considering that he used only a faucet and a small amount of piping for the job.

What a lovely experience. I was just dreading having to call a plumber for the first time. Just kept hoping I would walk into the kitchen and the sink would be magically drained. Instead I reached out and Raffi promptly returned my phone call. He set a time later in the afternoon and was very prompt. Within 30 mins he had cleared the drain, explained what was happening, cleaned up and was heading back to his van. While I certainly hope I don't need to call, it is a comfort to know I now have a good plumber in my contact book.

Raffi, the owner did the initial service and while it was simple, he did great. He sent one of his guys for a follow-up which was more extensive. All the work was done perfectly and without fuss. I would definitely hire them again.

Outstanding job. Not only was he even early for the appointment, he was very thorough, efficient, and while acknowledging the disposal was getting old, he gave me some tips to keep it clean and working to increase its life span. He was personable, knowledgable and friendly. I would not only recommend California Green Plumbing, but I will use them in the future.
