BOW WOW BUNGALOW

What can I say about Bow Wow Bungalow but Thank God I have access to the most welcoming, attentive, kind, loving crew of dog loving people I have ever experienced. I can only give thanks and more thanks... I adopted my first dog, a beautiful Alaskan Husky named Charlie about 11 months ago now. Once I adopted Charlie I realized that this dog will need lots of exercise and attention, and I was ready for the challenge. I knew that this dog was going to be a part of my family for many many years. I am a very active person and figured out how to satisfy Charlie's needs, but with any situation, sometimes your schedule demands travel and takes you outside of your normal routine. So as time went on, I started looking for the best Doggie day care. I looked all around and found that most were small, with concrete floors and more designed for smaller dogs. So with the help on my Mom and sister we continued our search. Then by the grace of God, a friend of my sisters suggested Bow Wow Bungalow with high praise. So of course at first I was skeptical, because I wanted the very best. So my Mom and I went to check it out..... I made an appointment for a meet and greet. Right away they made sure Charlie was completely vetted with verification with his paperwork. Once that was accomplished he had an initial visit for the day. Minimum 4 hours stay to observe his behavior towards other dogs and humans. They checked his temperament and personality. Once he passed his initial interview he was ready to go. They suggested I bring him in a few times so he would get used to his surroundings before I had to leave out of town, so I did and glad I flowed their request. Of course I was very query about leaving him for 10 days. It would be our first separation. But at the end I decided to go with Bow Wow Bunglow and it was an amazing experience for me and Charlie. No problems...?? They have 24 hour doggie cams, so you can watch your dogs activity all day, which I utilized everyday. And I always watch him whenever I leave him. As the months have gone on, Charlie has learned to love Bow Wow Bungalow and the staff looks forward to his arrival. Whether you're looking for day care or overnight boarding I highly recommend Bow Wow Bunglow. I tend to be a little anal as a dog owner, but whenever I call with a request or concern, they always welcome and accommodate my requests without question. The venue is huge! Indoor/ outdoor. All grass. Pools, activities... it's like if I could imagine "Dog heaven" for a dog. And the bonus is their price point is right on target. Which is so so important especially with so many people out of work. But it's been worth every penny to feel confident your pet is being treated with the utmost attention. I understand every dog is different and demands different things, but for me and Charlie it's been awesome! Thanks for listening.

Everyone at Bowow truly cares about the dogs they provide services for.  Our yellow lab is a senior and they took extra care to make sure he was comfortable.  Bowow is like a spa for dogs.  The facility is very clean with lots of outdoor and indoor play space.  I highly recommend Bowow for all pet owners that are looking for a fun and caring place for their dogs.

We have taken our dog to Bow Wow Bungalow for years and he LOVES it there. Usually I take him there on Tuesdays where it is $20 for the whole day, but last time I took him on Friday for 1/2 day (which is $24 for 6 hours or less) because that was one of the days he could get his picture taken with Santa for no extra charge! The staff is always friendly to us and our dog. They have cameras there so you can watch your dog play. My dog is always happy to go there and has always been well taken care of.

When we first adopted a pit bull puppy, we had a lot of problems finding places to take her due to her breed. Since she's friendly, we didn't like the idea of her being in a cage all day just because she's a pit bull. Bow Wow Bungalow assesses your dog's temperment to determine its sociability before allowing it into the group. The group of dogs is always supervised by at least 2 people who play with the dogs, throw b**** for them and keep everyone in line. Our dog loves going to Bow Wow Bungalow, and we love watching her on their doggie webcam while we're at work. You're guaranteed to have a tired dog after a day of play. The only negative thing I can say is that you can't pick up your dog from boarding or drop off for daycare on Sundays without having to pay an additional fee. Other than that, it's a fabulous place that takes great care of your pet.

Wonderful! We started at BowWow when it first opened and have enjoyed seeing the positive doggy-oriented changes. Both of our dogs were "special needs" dogs....one with 3 legs and many skin problems and one who was partially blind with other birth defect problems and seizures. BowWow was incredible...they encouraged the little one to play and were very loving and gentle to both. Their meds and special food were no problem Drop off and pickup were simple. The evaluation reports were right on (before we boarded the first time). I highly suggest a bath before bringing them home...the yard gets really stinky and so do the dogs (artificial turf). The kennels are large enough to bring the doggy beds and a toy or two. Make sure the bed is washable..just in case. They keep a record of everything and remind you when it's time to update the health info. They are also very tolerant of "helicopter parents" who absolutely have to call everyday! The doggy cam is usually pretty good. The grounds and play activities are great and the staff is really fabulous...they understand dogs. Prices have steadily increased and that has influenced our ability to use BowWow recently. Easy to find, easy to get to, easy to drop off and make a flight out of Burbank. Even though it's been a while since we have been able to use BowWow, I really wanted to let people know how much we like and trust them. Make sure you use a doggy safety harness for car travel. BowWow is the leader in doggy harness safety...S.A.S.H.A. safety harness.

We've used them many times and have only had two bad experiences, both with other dogs biting our dog. They try to mitigate this, but dogs will be dogs. Overall they are very good and my dog loves going, I just wish the other dogs were a little more socialized before they are allowed into the yard.

They test the dog first to see if he/she can get along with the other dogs. Then they let them play in their large yard until the dog is exhausted. They have great supervision and everyone there seem to be dog experts. Only negative was that one of my dogs wasn't accepted because she picks fights.

The business offers daycare during the day and overnight stays. I have been taking my dog to this business for 7 months. My dog has stayed for several nights on 3 separate occasions. Initially upon contacting the business, an approximate 5 minute evaluation is performed on the dog. During this time, the employees see how the dog reacts to other dogs, notes any behavioral issues and determines if the dog is a good overall mix with other dogs. If a dog appears too aggressive, the particular dog would be placed in different area. They prefer a 2 day advance scheduling period however, they are very flexible. Another positive feature is the puppy cam in which I can view my dog while I am away. Also, in the parking lot, the owners can watch the dogs play and interact with the employees upon departure or arrival.
