Terrible. First call I scheduled a visit in the afternoon. Few days later I got a call saying the visit would be in morning (when I had another appt). Person on phone was rude, saying that whoever scheduled me should not have given me a specific time, but making it sound as though it were my fault. When the owner, Mr. Garcia came he was very professional and knowledgeable. I asked for two changes (communicating with office staff) in the proposal BEFORE I received the proposal, but then I received 2 or 3 proposals that did not include those changes. Office staff again blamed me. The final estimate I received was after I had already had someone else do the job because FencePro sent the estimate a week later than they said they would, and did not communicate that they were still interested in the job. At one time my email program sent an email much later than I thought it had (several days), so that added confusion for which I am responsible.

Within a few days of our call, they came and gave an estimate. Very congenial and seemed to understand what we wanted. Suggested money-saving alternatives (e.g. not using redwood on the planter boxes but using redwood colored paint instead). One month later we called them to say "yes". They were here within two days and finished the job in 2-1/2 days. Polite and tidy. I think their schedule was light because it was the Christmas season. They gave us an additional 5% off for having the job done before Jan. 1. We are entirely satisfied with the work.

The work was done well and I was impressed with the way that they completed the job.

The owner came out to my property to look at the job but seemed to be in a hurry from the get go. After seeing the property he said he would come back at the end of the week to take some further measurements, but he never did. When I called the office the woman who answered the phone seemed annoyed and said that he would call me when the estimate was completed. I called back a week later and asked again if the owner had completed the estimate. I was told again that she would check and get back to me, and I never heard from her or from the owner again. My personal opinion: I don't know what kind of fences they build, but the way they treat potential customers is very unprofessional. Thumbs down!

I was thinking about doing a Japanese garden and they were only able to do a fence and a deck. They were not able to do the landscaping I was looking for. Although they were very thorough and gave me a couple follow up calls, I just did not want to hire two different companies for the job.

It was a long process, partly due to the requirements of the town for permits. The other was scheduling. Tim Garcia and his company were just great. They do beautiful and top quality work. They were here when they said they would be, and got the sections of fence done within two days. We were very impressed, and are planning to use them for the rest of our project.

After a rep came and looked at the job, it took almost a month to receive a price by e-mail. The office put this down to the fact that they were just so busy. When I paid the deposit, service came in a matter of days. Three men worked on the project which took them 4 hours. I was amazed at how efficient they were, a real team at work. They also removed any debris left over from the job.

I called after seeing their work on my neighbor's property. The owner/estimator is a fair man who knows his business and worked with me to solve a problem with an unresponsive neighbor who has abandoned his derelict wall and fence to me and another contractor who had bailed out on me after I ordered lumber. I knew in ten minutes he knew what he was talking about. We waited out the rains. The office scheduled a work date after I sent in the contract. The foreman and crew arrived on time. The foreman is a gem: A team leader and team member who leads the work and shoulders the hard shoveling. He's sharp and helped me out discreetly when another neighbor stuck his beak in the project. If good fences make good neighbors this crew gets the Nobel Peace Prize. The rest of the team were real pros, too. Twenty feet of retaining wall and fence before they had any lunch. They swept up every crumb of dirt and folded my tarps for me. The fence is a beauty, well built and will probably out live me.

Very professional team. Estimate took a long time to receive, but work was done quickly once contract and deposit completed. Builders were very clean and quick with job.

Waited three weeks for estimator. Then, estimator's written contract proposal did not agree with verbal information given at time of estimate, materials to be used, desired fence specifications. Called office several times for clarification and additional information. Office was unresponsive. Never received additional information.

FencePro was great. Did exactly what they said they would, on time and on budget. Wouldn't necessarily hire them for super elaborate work, but they did a great job for our simple fence and deck.

The team was scheduled to arrive between 9:00am and 10:00am on a Monday morning. Three workers arrived around 9:20am and got to work immediately tearing down the old fence and transporting the materials from the truck to the backyard. They worked steadily, finishing around 4:00pm that same day. They cleaned up pretty well. They were always courteous when dealing with me. Their primary language is Spanish; I had a bit of trouble communicating my answers to their inquiries as my Spanish is rusty, at best. But, they understood me and the fence is exactly what I wanted. Their price beat all of the competitive bids I collected. Everything was current on their license, insurance, and bond information. They are Diamond Certified and members of the BBB and the AFA. The in-person quote was scheduled quickly but be patient with the bidding/negotiation process as they are not always good about returning phone calls expeditiously. But, if you are patient, I think it will be worth it.
