All of the work was done promptly and professionally. They removed all of the debris afterwards and cleaned up after themselves. I liked them so much that I have called them back to give me an estimate for a deck that I would like to have them build for me. I would definitely recommend them to others.

We received a coupon in the "Value Pac" for 15% off any job from Fence Pro, over $3,000. We needed to have our aging fence replaced on one side of the house, and all along the rear of the house, along with some minor repairs of the fence on the other side of the house. Tim Garcia, the owner, met with us to go over what was needed and provided a detailed written estimate, which included the 15% off. After my wife and I made the decision to go with FencePro, we called and set a date for the work to begin. We were contacted by them asking if they could start a day earlier, which happened to work with our schedule. The workers showed up on time and had the demolition work completed in a matter of a few hours. They set the posts and stringers in the same day. The next day the came and installed the entire fence along with a gate and were done by the end of the work day. The job called for them to stain the fence and I was to provide the stain. I have the 10 gallons of stain Tim suggested I purchase and 4 men showed up the final day and had two coats of stain applied by 2 p.m. The job looks great, and the team worked together really hard. I found them and Tim easy to work with even when there was a minor change in about 16 feet of fencing which we wanted to be 8 ft instead of 6 ft. I would recommend FencePro is you have a fencing job.

hcTim the owner came out himself t give the estimate( what a nice man BTW) and it took me a while to finally bite the bullet and schedule. I've been burned before with shoddy work and no show contractors, but I took a leap of faith and so glad I did. Fence Pro replaced my rotted/falling down fence with a beautiful fence all in 1 1/2 days. The workmen work professional and I commented to Tim that they worked like a well oiled machine-everyone had a job and that person did their job, making the fence install move at lightening speed. I am extremely pleased with the work, the time it took to do the work and the price. In fact I like their work so much that we are already in the process of scheduling the install of a double decker deck and deck stair replacement on the back side of my house-A REALLY BIG PROJECT- that I would not trust to just anyone. Fence looks very solid. We used the 20% discount from Angie's list, which made the bid lower than competitors. The final cost was approximately $32 per foot of fence. I guess that's about all that matters. But it was not an ornate fence - just a simple, well built fence.

They sent people out who did not seem qualified to give us a bid and did not initially provide us with one. The owner then came out later to give us a bid. After he left, we never heard back from the them after trying to call them and ultimately never received a bid from them.

They were helpful in discussing various design options and selecting appropriate materials. The crew was courteous and professional. They checked in when decisions about height and such were needed. The fence abuts a rock retaining wall at one end and they cut a board and fitted it between the rock wall and the end of the fence so that animals won't pass through. We had some custom details for the gate and they were able to address them well.
The company was responsive - there were some finishing details that needed attention and they came out and attended to it.

Overall, the experience went well. The railing and the new gate was done really well. For the new fence, I asked for something simple and I didn't have as much of a conversation about the style of the fence I wanted with him as I should have. All 3 finished products turned out well. I would use him again in the future.

The crew was top-notch: Salvadore (the foreman), Raphael, Antonio and Chive. They worked quickly but deliberately--not rushed; were careful around all the garden plants; asked me questions and showed me choices at relevant points; and even custom made fence holes in three places to accommodate tree branches that overhang my yard and that I wanted to retain. They finished in a day and cleaned up perfectly, even sweeping my basement.

Maria, the appointment and estimate manager, is a delight to speak with and extremely helpful. I can't imagine a better fence experience, and I will definitely be calling back Fencepro for any future fence needs.

They work awesomely fast, and are clean too. I feared that a lot of my garden / plants would be damaged, but that was not the case. Again, it's amazing how fast they put up a new fence. It looks great and makes a HUGE difference in terms of privacy and comfort, compared to the old 4' fence that was literally falling apart. They arrive on time, communicate well, and clean up after themselves. Highly recommended.

FencePro was very responsive. They came out the day I called to give an estimate and was able to schedule a crew to install the fence within the week.

The fence is in the back yard and you have to go through my house to get there, no side path is available. The crew worked quickly and were careful as they brought in their tools and the fencing material. They drilled into the concrete retainwall in three places and epoxied heavy threaded rods into the holes. Then they glued a redwood posts to each of the three threaded rods. From there they were able to build the rest of the fence.

The crew did a good job cleaning up and left the yard looking nice with a brand new fence in place. It is now a year later and the fence is strong and looks great. I am considering adding another section to this one and would definately call FencePro for this job too.

They did two jobs for us in the last seven weeks. They are into a lot more than fencing. They are much more into deck construction and maintenance. They are excellent. There was absolutely no slacking. They were on the job every moment of the workday. They were neat and explained everything that was happening. They pointed out if there were issues that I needed to decide. When they took their lunch it was exactly 30 minutes, and that was it. There wasn't any chitchat or goofing around. They cleaned up the work site every day. I was very pleased.

The work itself was fine. However, the owner was unable to do the estimate himself so sent one of his supervisors. The estimate included a price for a certain number of boards. However, when the team arrived to do the work, it was difficult to decide which boards to replace, since there were fewer boards than needed, but the current boards were in equally bad shape. They ended up going back to the shop to pick up more boards, as well as some beams to bolster the joists, and completed the work well. The issue was with the invoice I received. The supervisor blamed me for changing my mind, so added a charge for the to and from trip of the work team for the additional lumber. However, if their own workers were not clear on which boards to replace, it seems like it was an issue with the estimate of the work. In the end the owner did reduce the total price somewhat, although it did include the additional charge for the travel. The lesson is to have the owner do the estimate and scope out the job.

It came off without a hitch. The whole job was done in one day, and it was done well. We are very still very pleased, two and a half years later.

I was able to get an estimate for the work right away and Tim Garcia explained exactly what they would be doing and how the fence would be built. They were able to come out and do the work the very next day. The workmen showed up as scheduled with all the material needed. They had to go through my house to get to the work area and they were very careful not to bang up the walls and doorways on the way through. They worked very quickly and efficiently and were finished with the job in less than the four hour window they had estimated. They cleaned up the work area and took away the tree trimmings and old fence parts when they left. The fence is solid, sturdy and looks great. I feel they did a terrific job. I am considering having more of my fence replaced and will call FencePros first when the time comes.

They did a good job but they aren’t great on follow up. We spent quite a lot of money on the fence and I think it is important for the person that is in charge of the job to come out when the job is finished to have a look and inspect the complete job but no one did that.

They gave us a very good quote. We would have liked to use them. However, as we stay in a rental property, our landlord has decided not to get the fence installed. They gave us a quote of about $2000. However, they missed certain things while doing the estimate and gave us a higher quote. So, we had to get back to them with it and they had to redo the estimate.

I had a 30 foot section of fence that fell over in a storm. They came out and gave me a competitive and well-priced bid. In one day they tore down the old fence, removed it, and put in a new six foot high privacy fence. It looked great and it still looks great a year later. I am using them now to repair a couple of steps on my back porch, and I called them back specifically because I had such a good experience the first time.

He had a bad attitude. He said that he came out previously and that he was upset because I changed the job specifications and he had no chance to bid on the revised job. I also never received a proposal or a follow up phone call from him.

It went real well. It was very good. Tim Garcia is the owner. He came out and looked at the project and it was done in 4 days. It was really a professional job and quite well done. I would certainly recommend him. The materials were very well selected. I didn't get bids. The price may have been a little pricey, but the job was well done. I would pay a little more to have a good job done.

Fantastic. They removed all the old fences and deck, built the new fences and the deck as well as new stairs. I would hire them in a heartbeat if I needed them again.

Our old, rotten fence collapsed during a storm in January. Tim Garcia responded quickly to our request for a quotation and it was easy to schedule a site visit. He was quite helpful pointing out potential problems and offering solutions. He also offered alternatives of different quality for a replacement. The same day he sent photos by email of examples of their work. His quote followed a short time later. It was easy to reach him by phone and email and he responded quickly to requests for changes to the proposal. He scheduled the work at the same time the quote was accepted and the work was done two days later. The crew of four arrived on time. The foreman reviewed the work with me beforehand. The foreman was very helpful in offering solutions to the unexpected presence of a tree root in the fence line and a tree leaning too close to the fence. Meanwhile the crew went straight to work. The work progressed quickly. The work crew seemed very experienced. The entire job was finished in less than 7 hours. The crew cleaned as they went so the garden was clear just when the work was done. They took care to move personal items out of the way (even though we were supposed to do that before they arrived) did not damage plants or the sprinkler system at the fence line. From start to finish a well run organization.

They only took a couple of days. They used a new procedure that makes the fence really strong so that it won't move. They drilling into the concrete and put steel rods in. The price was reasonable.

Tim Garcia from Fencepro was one of three contractors who bid on the job. We spent a good half hour talking about the project and Tim explained how his team would approach this job. Following the meeting, Tim emailed photos from a couple of jobs that used the same materials in a similar way. After reviewing the three competing bids, we decided to go with Tim and company, based on a fair price and the sense of trust Tim brought to the project. We signed the contract and they started the next day. I'm not a landscape designer - I drew out what I could and tried to describe what I was looking for. So this was not the most straightforward of jobs. In the rear of the yard, we installed horizontal boards of Bankirai fence. On one of the longer sides we used a variation of picket fence in Redwood. For hardscape we had two patios built - one 8'x10' rectangle of full-range bluestone and one 6' round made of black slate. We also had a small Bankirai deck built, a Bankirai step and a Redwood arbor installed. Steve was the foreman on the job. We couldn't have asked for a better partner in this somewhat fluid project. In fact, the entire team was fantastic and put this whole project together in a week of sketchy weather. This also was not the cheapest of projects so we were very concerned about craftsmanship. Fencepro did not let us down. They consulted with us through each step of the process and made sure they were building what we wanted and how. Steve did a fantastic job on the fences, the custom lattice work and the arbor. Jacinto clearly took pride in his stonework. The most important point - the finished job is amazing.
