Description of Work: I've had Bug Central take care of my termite needs in the past with everything going really well. This time I wanted them to do an inspection of a condo that I was interested in. Scott got me scheduled NEXT DAY! Inspector showed up on time and thoroughly inspected the property. Scott went over the inspection with me over the phone and a formal report followed w/i a few days. There were a couple of outside structures that showed signs of issues that the agent claimed would be the responsibility of the HOA, but Scott went over the remedies so I knew what was involved. Overall, another great experience with Bug Central.

+ -1 moreOn the seller side, they did all the wood trim removal and replacement and treatment, they do not sub out. On the buyer side, they were totally responsive to returning to treat areas, previously called out on the report, and re-treating as necessary. They do not tent, unless absolutely necessary. They explained that treating is preferable whenever possible as it prevents future infestations in the area and that while tenting kills the bugs, it provides no after tenting prevention. Once the warranty is up for the work already done, we are signing up with the annual service. They are priced competitively.
Description of Work: We bought our house in 2014. Bug Central did the termite damage repair for the seller. We had them out several times after to clear out new infestations, all under warranty. We did a complete remodel and had Bug Central treat all the exposed beams and treat the new patio for sub-terranian termites. They were priced very competitively with other companies. Scott Clem was our rep and was very professional. Our neighbors saw the work and price and dumped their termite control company and signed up with Bug Central.

Description of Work: I contacted the company for termite problems and a serious pest infestation. The initial inspector was prompt and polite. I got the report regarding termites and authorized the work. It was done promptly. Two weeks later I discovered that the inspector had missed more that 2/3rds of the easily found termite infestations. I made a number of attempts to arrange for a pest inspection: calls were not returned, appointments were missed. When an inspector finally arrived it was very superficial. When I spoke with the manager about the unreturned called and missed appointments, he told me that they had been very busy but NEVER APOLOGIZED! They were basically indifferent. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

+ -1 moreAfter three estimates from companies rated high on Angie's List, we are using Termite Terry. Bug Central cost more, didn't provide any warranties, customer references or a detailed estimate. Other than the cost, we wouldn't know what to expect.
Description of Work: Jason Scott called a couple days after an email request. He was pretty booked, so we waited a week for the estimate but no big deal since we've been living with termites for a long time. He spent about half an hour at the home. I had to show him the areas infected with termites and he just measured the house without asking too many questions or providing any info on the process. We got the estimate that day for fumigation and subterranean termites in our sunken living room. The estimate wasn't detailed at all, didn't provide any warranties and was pretty void of pertinent info to make a sound decision – it simply listed the areas and price. He also didn't explain the process or products that would be used. I imagine they give many estimates and get burned out delivering the same message. The breakdown: Fumigation of a 2,600 sf house, no warranty: $2,963 Treat subterranean termites in living room, no warranty: $885

There was a part that did not work in the garage and they told me to call them and have them come back if I have further issues. You get a good feeling from the whole company.

+ -1 moreI was beyond impressed with Mark and Central Termite. Our house had termites because fumigation was handled badly during escrow. Mark negotiated with the prior company for them to pay for the fumigation and wood replacement costs. Everything went very smoothly and Mark was a professional and a gentleman throughout.

They always cleaned up after each day's work. We never had any worries or doubts. Overall, it was a very positive experience. We definitely would use their service again and highly recommend to others looking for a competent termite company.
