Description of Work: Showed up on time - two people - one said that he was new and was being trained. After two hours said that they could not install the exact same bathroom faucet the manufacturer sent to replace the old one whose finish was defective. Spoke with the manufacturer's tech by phone while they were here and still could not install it. Told me that it was different than the old one. Also, they told me that the on/off water spigot under the sink have not been used and therefore needed to be replace for an additional $30 (which I paid) otherwise it would leek. I had to hire another plumber who was able to install the faucet without any problem in 15 minutes and told me that the on/off spigot info I received was bunk and if it was hard to turn then there was a simple spray that they normally use that loosens it - didn't have to be replaced.

Description of Work: They arrived but did not want to perform any work. All of their work rates were more than twice the cost of any other plumber I have had out so their "deal" was not a deal. They did not want to perform any of the tasks that I needed done since one of the things I was looking for was a bid on repiping the house and they said that it would be a waste of time to fix any of the issues if we were going to repipe anyway. No problem, how much would it be to repipe, more than double any other company or plumber that I have had bids from. Hmm, so they don't want to do any work and there is no way I can use them to repipe since their rates are RIDICULOUSLY over inflated. So, essentially there was no way to use this coupon at all. Additionally, when I quoted the other plumbers rates, they magically dropped their price by 30% (which was still way too high). Personally, I would NEVER choose a company who suddenly decides that they can give you a discount when you balk at the original price. Either the service costs what it costs or it doesn't.

Description of Work: They came, gave an estimate for the work, and I spent the next 2 1/2 weeks trying to get something scheduled with them. Finally, got fed up and requested a refund of the Big Deal.

Description of Work: The provider showed up, but was not aware that I had to go out of town that day for an emergency. I received an irate phone call from a woman about the fact that the plumber was not being allowed to complete the fix that day. I call to apologize for my absence and reminder her that it was only suppose to be an estimate that day. Upon returning I got the estimate for the three fixes needed. Only one of those would make use of the two hour coupon. The other two would be charged at their regular hourly rate. In my experience all three could easily fall within the two hours of labor.

Description of Work: Overland Plumbing sent a plumber to assess the situation at my house. He arrived on time, and was very polite. He took a look at the toilet "problem", but quickly decided that there was nothing wrong with the plumbing, and nothing was clogged. He did say however that the model toilet that came with our house might night be that great, and that if I really wanted to do something, I would have to buy a new toilet (something my wife and I are not ready to do at the moment). I would like to add that the plumber was very honest, and in no way took advantage of our complete lack of plumbing knowledge. Thank you Overland. I would not hesitate to contact Overland Plumbing in the future if I have a "real" problem for them to work on.
