I purchased a Big Deal coupon from them and they were here within a week after I bought it. The service was good. They were quick and cleaned up after themselves. They are professional. I got a pretty good deal.

I bought a coupon online from this vendor to install a garbage disposal for flat $100 fee. I thought it sounded like a great deal so I called and made it very clear that there was no current unit under the sink and some pipes would have to be moved around as well to accomodate, they still said it was covered for $100 flat. I bought the coupon, the technician came out and immediately extimated an additional $200 fee to move some of the pipes around, so $300 total. I explained what company told me on phone but they didn't budge so I chose not to have them do the service and am asking for refund of coupon. I believe this is close to 'scam' level marketing. Especially because of the backstory: I bought the garbage disposal from Sears, who also advertised a $99 flat install fee, then s technician came out, asked for $200 more because it was a 'fresh install' not a replacement. I didn't pay the Sears tech nor the Overland tech. Instead I called a couple different plumbers and found someone who did it for under $200 using traditional 'bill by the hour' method. Its a small job that takes less than 2 hours! I'm still steamed because if I hadn't been home and the technician tried that tactic on my girlfriend she would have just felt overwhelmed and paid the guy. I run a small business in a different field and I think its pretty low to mislead the customer like that, it might not be a 'scam' but its certainly not morally right.

I purchased the big deal from Angie's List and it worked out great. They came when they said they would. He found out that it was the dishwasher's problem because the plumbing was working perfectly. It was the same price as the big deal, he just swapped the service. I didn't really check for price with different places but I felt it was in the going rate. I plan on calling him when I have problems.

Inspected the gas line to our fire pit in the back yard. Was not able to fix but tried several things and gave us some great ideas. He went above and beyond to try and help.

Overland was hired by the building's HOA to handle the repair as it was causing a leak into the common area. They charged $720 for a job for which two other plumbers quoted a flat rate of $450....their rate was 60% higher! When I received the invoice, I asked the HOA to request a discount; Overland refused to reduce the charge to the market rate. There are many reliable plumbers who will disclose fees up front; there's no reason to use a company that charges such an over-inflated premium. I definitely didn't get my money's worth. Not only will I never use them for my other rental properties but I intend to let everyone know about my negative experience.

Showed up on time with smiles and good personal hygiene. Very professional and took time to answer all questions. I could tell that Hugo took real pride in his work and was both efficient and clean. They called before arriving and advised of time as well as the day before to remind me of appointment. The people are all very nice , professional and seemed to care about me as a person as well as a paying customer. They even call to follow up and make sure everything was done to my satisfaction and with no problems. I recommend Overland Plumbing to anyone who needs good work done at honest prices by helpful and courteous technicians. (My whole place was checked out and some needed repairs were made.)

They were not very professional and my husband had to help with the appointment. My husband was a little dissapointed with the work.

This is a family run business where everyone takes pride in their workmanship, neatness, and providing excellent service. This job started with my wanting to supply water to my refrigerator (for ice and filtered drinking water) and to my vegetable garden (new hose spigot). Geremi gave me the bad news about my deteriorating galvanized pipe supply lines. In the back of my mind, I knew I would have to replace those lines someday -- the home inspector told me so when i bought this 1940's house eight years ago. So, we arranged to have all the hot and cold supply lines replaced. The job went as scheduled; finished in just over 2 days and i was left with water every day. Most noteworthy -- friendly workers who worked hard all day in the hot, hot heat, respect for the home and cleanliness using drop cloths everywhere and sweeping up each day, outstanding repair and repainting of walls that had to be opened to do this job. After the work was done, I asked about my sewer and waste lines. Geremi showed me pictures of the rusted and cracking black iron pipes. So, it was time to replace the waste system and install a sewer clean out and check valve. When i saw the inside of those pipes (enough said), I knew it was the right decision. While we were at it, I had a toilet replaced as well. I'll have no plumbing concerns for a long, long while -- but if I need anything, i'll be calling on Overland Plumbing again!

We tried to arrange a big deal and as usual the strings attached don't work for us. besides we needed help pronto.

I am too upset to write something out here. But I was charged an initial fee of $150 for a non-emergency Sunday call. They did not tell me ahead of time how much that would cost. The guy who came over on Sunday did absolutely nothing ... nothing. I had to call them back on Tuesday to find out when they would come over. Eventually he came; did very little work for which I was charged $850 for something I considered relatively minor. In the future, I will review how I use Angie's list. Very disappointed.

They did a really great job and are very reliable. I would use them again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. There were 2 additional charges aside from the deal itself because I had extra work done. I think they did a good job, I haven't had any trouble so far. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Everything went well. Hugo, the lead of the two plumbers who came, was a nice guy (they both were) and did a good job installing the toilet. They were on time, were polite, and worked hard and efficiently. The whole experience was a good one, though I was unhappy about two things. First, Hugo told me that the valve connecting to the toilet was old and leaks. I've no doubt that it's old (I rent my home) and it may well leak, but he told me that to replace the valve with a better, one-piece valve, would cost $149 (he said it's normally $189, but since they were already at the house, it's less). That seemed very expensive, but Hugo explained that they needed to drain the water from the whole house to do it. I declined, and he was very polite about it. Second, I was told at the end that if I wanted them to haul away the old toilet, it would cost an additional $25. I explained that the woman I spoke with told me that haul away of the old toilet was included. He asked me her name, and I didn't have it, but suggested he call to verify if he'd like. He told me that he would take it away and not charge me. So, all in all, I got the service I was promised, at the price I was promised, and Hugo was a good guy. But I would just caution buyers of a deal with this plumber to be crystal clear with them before you buy to understand what you're paying for, and what isn't included. Further, beware of the (expensive) up-sell. I'm not saying I know for certain that he was trying to sell me something I didn't need, but it seemed right out of an "Up-sell 101" textbook. I gave a B on price because I feel like I had to be on guard and negotiate to get what I was promised. I feel like these deals shouldn't include unadvertised costs or expenses, like charging an additional $25 to haul away a toilet. That should be clearly identified in the conditions of the deal. But again, overall it was a good experience. I will also compliment them on their understanding of a mistake I made. I made an earlier appointment and got called out of the country and forgot to cancel. I felt terrible about doing that, as I believe it's very inconsiderate. I apologized profusely when I called to reschedule, and they were very kind and understanding.

They were very good. They finished up the second job yesterday and was much more expensive. I would highly recommend. I will use them again.

Initially there was a scheduling problem; the technician was scheduled from 2 - 5pm. At 6:15pm I called to find out if the technician was still coming and was told that I wasn't scheduled on Tuesday, but on Friday. I became very upset, and she, Elena,who was not the person who created the mixup, realized the mistake was made at their end, told me to call back before 7pm. I called back at 6:50 pm and there was no answer, so I thought I was getting the run around. At 7:15 another person, Anna, called me to tell me the technician would be at my house very soon. Approximately 7:30pm two technicians arrived, apologized for the misunderstanding, and began to fix the faucet. I thought they might hurry because of the time, but they didn't. They had to turn off the water, remove the faucets, and replace some parts. They were very professional, covered the floor and shower floor, and when the job was completed there was nothing to clean up! They left approximately 8:30pm and when they left they apologized again, and left a coupon for future service. The next morning Elena followed up with a call to make sure everything was okay and the job was completed to my satisfaction. That follow-up phone call was really special. It showed me that they were truly sorry for the mixup, and wanted to be sure that I was satisfied and I told her that and that I appreciated her call. Yes, there was a mixup, but they showed me they were genuinely sorry for it and willing to fix it. I told her that I would be calling again for more service in the future, and that I would definitely recommend them. iru

I purchased an Angie's List offer for an $89.00 kitchen faucet installation. Overland Plumbing showed up in the 3 hour window, and even called 30 minutes before their arrival. Geremi introduced himself and got right to work. He brought an assistant and was careful to lay down a drop cloth to protect my floors. He did an excellent job and I love my new sensor touch faucet. The one glitch was that after he removed the old faucet, he informed me that the stop valves were a different size for the new one. He quoted $150 to change the valves which I though was excessive, but I didn't have much of a choice at that point. I wish he would have told me before he began the work.

They performed the work requested and did a good job. However, the tub drain cost me $270 and the shower drain $110 (what I paid for the Big Deal). As I said, they did a good job but I will not use them again because they are very expensive!

The plumber had to come twice because of a defective toilet- broken out of the box. The only negative was a late arrival the first time. Otherwise the service was flawless- the plumbers did a good job, were neat, and respectful of the house. The dispatcher also was professional, and called to let us know the plumber was on his way. I would definitely use and recommend this company.

Got the offending materials out.

Purchased an Angie's Big Deal. $79 for $200 worth of plumbing. Plumber arrived and stated that deal was up to $200 for ONE item. Checked with Angie representative and there was NO such limitation...would not have purchased this with that limitation. Spoke with owner and he also stated that this was for one item...I was requesting that the plumber address two items and he wanted me to pay for the second item even though both were under $200. I told him that this was not what was represented in the Big Deal. He first stated that this was an Angie's List problem. Finally, after some arguing, he finally agreed to honor the Big Deal as represented. I am not sure I would want to subject myself to a Big Deal after this experience with this plumber.
