Fighting Amish Electric

They were prompt, courteous, and capable. They weren't able to schedule me quite as quickly as I wanted, but I only had to wait a few days. I wondered at first whether $100/hour was too high. But for the price, I got two electricians who, within one hour, accomplished three installations exactly as requested - well worth the price.

They were very thorough, tracking down multiple issues in a stairway light. They explained everything they did, showed me where the issues were, and what my options were for fixing them. They also didn't mind that my dog, Bailey, apparently felt she should supervise their work. I will definitely use them in the future.

The service went exceptionally well. Initial phone call returned promptly, and was able to send some pictures of the system via email for their information which helped get them up to speed on the system. Showed up on time, extremely courteous & professional. Very knowledgeable about electrical system and offered clear, focused information. Answered all my questions. Gave a quick fix and outlined an approach for final fix. Kept me well informed. They told me the parts required for the final fix and left the decision to me to proceed. Once the parts came in they were quick to schedule a time to come over and not only fixed the original problem but adjusted and improved the track lighting. Between the two appointments, I had an electrical outlet fail, and they were happy to take care of that also. I felt like I could trust these guys and ask any questions about the process. Very happy with the process and will hire them again for any other electrical work on the house. Highly recommended.

It would be great if every contractor was like Daan and Inder. They were right on time, completed the work quickly, took the time to answer every question, and left a clean house when they were done. It is clear that they pride themselves on not cutting corners and making sure they do quality work - which is important when working with electrical installations.

Daan and Inder were great. Within a few hours of leaving my message asking for a quote I received a call back. They were able to schedule the service for the next day. They showed up on time, did great work and were very nice guys. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for electrical services.

inder and daan were wonderful to work with. they were friendly, knowledgeable and i trusted them implicitly. have recommended them to friends and would use them again.

The guys were professional and explained in great detail their findings and solutions. They were here approximately 6 hours over a couple of days, correctly many of the electrical mishaps we inherited with the house. Now everything is illuminated and we're happy with the results.

They had high ratings on Angie?s List, which was one of the reasons I tried them. The two brothers that own the company came out, talked with me and answered my questions. I?ve kind of learnt a little bit about contractors, and what to look for and what not to. They were very upfront about permits and were just pretty honest. I kind of liked them. They are a pretty local company. What they did was pretty much in line with another company that I am looking at. They?re not the cheapest bid out there but I feel like I can trust their work. They were on time. I would probably be using them and would consider looking them up again if I had any projects in the future.

They are 2 brothers who are master electricians specializing in residential work. I liked them because they were hardworking and knowledgeable. They did a marvelous job for us. They told how the fixtures could be done and then did it right away. It was a difficult job, but they did it. Our house is 13 years? old. Unlike the other guys that didn?t leave a lot of room in the walls to make adjustments, they handled it. We were very pleased with them. The other guys wanted to tear up the ceiling.

On the date and at the time that Don was due to arrive he called to say his truck had a flat. It was unable to be fixed that day so he agreed to come back at my convenience which he did. The only "problem" was two nails left in the wall from the previous fixture. I was able to remove one but Don had to come back and pry the other one out.

They came out to reinstall a light switch. It was a fairly simple job. They were punctual. They did a good job. They made sure to clean up after themselves.

If only other contracting experiences went this well. we had a light in the dining room that wasn't working & a kitchen light that was burning through bulbs quickly. I looked on yelp for an electrician & the Fighting Amish Electric has 5 star ratings. They came out & gave us a reasonable estimate & we set a day & time. while installing the lights they noticed that our knob & tube wiring was chewed & a potential fire hazard. Previous electricians didn't even go up in the attic. They recommended that we have the insulation removed & the wiring repaired. we had them return & repair the wiring & properly reinstall lights that another electrician changed for us. They are thorough, professional & explain in great detail what needs to be done & what you should consider for future projects.

Great! My message was returned the day after I left it. We set a date and time for Don to come out. At the time he was to be here, he called to tell me he had gotten hung up on a call and was just leaving for my house if it would still be OK to come. He swapped out the fan and worked things out so that the old light unit would fit on the new fan. He was pleasant and easy to have in the house. Although his estimate was higher, he ended up only charging me for an hour of work although he was here about an hour and a half.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Calls returned, showed up on time, friendly; above and beyond. Fixed the problem and provided advice on other projects.
