He was not able to perform the service. He told me he did not have the correct parts. That I needed PGE to come back out. I had another professional come the following day and he was able to diagnose and fix both wall heaters with no issue. I was very diappointed and felt cheated.

Guy who came gave me good advice and advised that he felt my issue was not needed for repair. He didn't try to sale me any service as he saw no need. I appreciate a plumber who isn't trying to get work out of people whom don't need it.

Professional and prompt service, seemed a bit expensive but maybe that is just inflation these days, transparent pricing and worked with me to find an appropriate solution

Called them to fix a Rinnai tankless. Made the situation worse than it started with, after $4000. Incompetent. Unprofessional. Overpriced.

We had an appointment window from noon to 2:00 set for today. The appointment was to remove an older kitchen faucet and replace it with a new one that WE have purchased. We were out of town, but left early to be sure that we were back by noon. The technician texted at 10:10 saying he was on the way. We were driving in the rain on a freeway, not expecting to hear from anyone for another hour and a half, at least, so didn't see the text until after the fact. We received a phone call from my mother-in-laws caregiver saying the technician was there and was going to charge $854 for the job. I'm not a plumber, but I've changed out a few faucets in my time and a professional with the right tools and knowledge could make this a 15-30 minute job. We never received any communication on a price estimate and if anyone had told us we would have to pay $854 for this job, I would have told them to forget it.

My plumber Jason Hargreaves showed up on time, offered before I could ask to remove his shoes then proceeded to diagnose the problem quickly and efficiently fixed it, he was knowledgable tidy and polite throughout which was greatly appreciated

10/6/2024 - Ongoing Toilet Leak Issue – Unresolved Since February Dear Albert Nahman Plumbing, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my extreme frustration regarding the ongoing toilet leak issue that has yet to be resolved, despite numerous attempts to rectify it. The problem began in February 2024, when my toilet started leaking and refilling its tank every 2 to 4 hours. Since March 18, 2024, I have had five appointments with your team to address this issue. I have paid a total of $545 for a new canister flush valve and a new toilet fill valve, yet the toilet continues to leak exactly the same way it did before. What is particularly disheartening is the lack of communication since August. I have repeatedly tried to reach out via email and phone, but my messages have gone unanswered (August to October). I chose your company based on your good ratings and the assumption that I would receive quality service from a licensed plumber. Unfortunately, my experience has been quite the opposite. I would appreciate a prompt response to this matter and a clear plan for how we can finally resolve the leak. Thank you for your attention to this urgent issue. Sincerely, Andreas

I contracted this company to install a new HVAC system at my property in Newark, CA, back in June 2024. This is my first such project and I needed a licensed company to help manage the entire installation, including getting all the relevant permits from Newark city's building inspection department. I have since been frustrated dealing with this company and my project has been stalled for over 2 months now. First, the company went ahead and started the installation process WITHOUT securing the right permits from the city. When we received a STOP WORK notice due to this, the project manager has been only giving me excuses on why there's been delays. When I enquired myself calling up the city, I found out that they have not received the necessary documentation from the HVAC company for over 4 weeks! My repeated follow ups with my direct project manager have not made any impact. Trying to find senior management of this firm to escalate is also nearly impossible! I will advise against working with this fraud company.

Do NOT hire this company to install a heat pump, or to do anything else on your home, for that matter. Albert Nahman botched the installation of a Lennox HVAC system at our house back in June. The issue is we paid extra for a 2-zone system but the techs weren't capable of installing it, or failed to do so. Now we have a heat pump that makes a constant electrical buzzing sound and two thermostats that don't work. This was almost 3 months ago and I was patient at first. They've missed appts to come fix it. Then they proposed a work-around in the thermostat app but it doesn't work. I keep getting the runaround from customer service. I've spoken to Art and Jessica, they promise to call me back and never do. At this point, we're fed up with Albert Nahman and the Lennox system. We want the entire system removed and to start from scratch with a different manufacturer and installer. Don't hire this company. They don't know what they're doing and they don't treat their customers well.

Albert Nahman PHC installed new AC and Furnace for my house. I like them for several reasons -- 1. At first Tom explained in detail what equipment I need and how they work, and gave me a reasonable and detailed quote at end of the visit. 2. They offer interest free finance. 3. I got free upgrade for furnace when the original quoted is not available. 4. Their installer did good job, and cleaned up afterward. I highly recommend this company.

Do not hire Albert Nahman for sewer lateral replacement. We did and regret it deeply. It took them more than two months--November 2023 to end of January 2024— and cost in excess of $25K. They broke our waterline, our toilets, and our irrigation system. They left the public sidewalk in a shoddy state. To repair part of our irrigation system they have just quoted us another $2800. Albert Nahman, who started and sold the company, is a good guy. Whoever is running the company now is not.

I hired Albert Nahman Plumbing to install a heat pump water heater in July of this year, due to a) their excellent reviews, and b) they are a BayREN authorized installer. To qualify for the $1000 rebate for replacing my old gas water heater, the installer has to be authorized and listed by BayREN. The installation was completed and paid for on July 25th; On July 20th I submitted the paperwork to Albert Nahman’s then-rebate coordinator Diane. Life happened and it wasn’t until early October that I realized I had heard nothing about the rebate status, so I called on 10/4 and was told Diane had left the company and I should talk to the new coordinator, Joyce. I did so, and she assured me that she’d take care of it and should just forward her all the paperwork I'd originally sent to Diane. Which I did. I heard nothing and contacted Joyce again on Oct 10th and then again on Oct 23rd. On 10/30, I called in and asked to speak to a supervisor. Marcus Mosley (General Manager) contacted me and after listening to my complaint asked me to sum everything up and follow up with an email to him, which I sent the same day. Marcus responded that he’d spoken to his coordinator, who would push the rebate further and they just needed to find a picture of the old water heater. “Give me until tomorrow” he said. Tomorrow came and went, and I called and left messages for Marcus several times. None got a response. I emailed him on Nov 9th, which he responded to by saying he’d been busy and would get an update from “Jeff”. Once again I heard nothing and tried calling multiple times to no avail, and sent another email on Nov 16th demanding a response and progress on my $1000 rebate. I also say if I don’t hear back in a week I’m going to look into other options, such as bad reviews, state board complaints, and legal action (which would need to be small claims) And here I am. Stonewalled and ignored. And to add insult to injury, I just found out that BayREN lowered the rebate to $250 in August. I hate writing negative reviews and this is the last thing I want to be spending my time doing, but they’ve left me no choice.

This project needed 2 people. My old refrigerator was extremely heavy. I took a photo and submitted it Angie’s list. I would of thought a large stainless steel fridge would almost impossible to move with only one pro. My only complaint is that my old fridge is sitting outside because it was too heavy and dangerous for the pro to move to the garage himself.

The process was smooth and quick. Ended up having a lot of questions about pricing and the job estimate but they were very open and communicative about what the costs meant and what they were going to have to do. Would absolutely hire again

Heat pump repair

The first visit lead to cleaning the area around the heater and burners and checking the thermocouple. Sadly that seemed to make it worse. Less than a week later No hot water for over 30 hours till the second technician replaced the thermocouple. All is perfect now. No charge for the second visit. The next step, if needed will be a tankless and their quote looks a bit steep. But I am really hoping I won’t need to go that far.
