They charged for diagnostics and did not deduct the diagnostics fee from the service fee when I decided to have the leak fixed.
As a result of the diagnostics, they told me the problem was with the Oil Pan Gasket and proposed me with two solutions:
1) Replace the Oil Pan Gasket, which was very expensive, but would fix the problem
2) Tighten the bolts on the Oil Pan and add some silicon substance on the bolts, which was the cheaper solution.
They recommended the cheaper solution and I went for it. They told me they had tightened 20 bolts with the silicon substance.
After a week, the car was back to leaking oil again and took it back to Spiteri's.
They said they tightened the bolts again, but the leak was back after 2 days.
On the phone, Charlie told me that the problem might be with the main seal, which would be a costly fix.
At that point I gave up on Spiteri and decided to fix the problem myself.
After replacing the Oil Pan Gasket on my own, which I should have done to begin with and not be lazy, the leak was gone.
Lessons learned: Go for the solution that will 100% fix the problem, not for the halfway measures.

I use them because A) They are close to my house and they gladly provide me promptly with rides home, B) They are extremely clean, professional and orderly, almost to a fault, as the check-in and check-out procedures take a while because they so thoroughly document the issues and explain things, C) In the almost 10 years I have been using them I (an automotive mechanical engineer) feel that they have always done professional work and that they are honest, D) They will work with you on the issue and try and get you the best deal on parts or determine a way to minimize the cost if you ask, and E) They are friendly and all seem to like being there, almost a family, and even remember your name....a little thing in the big scheme of things but nice nonetheless.
Lastly, they are not cheap...their hourly rate is approaching that of a dealer, so don't go here if you are looking for a cut-rate bargain. Life is too short to feel like you're being cheated or to suffer poor workmanship, so I'm willing to pay a reasonable amount for soundness of mind. About the only time I did compare quotes between the dealer and Spiteri's to replace the AC compressor on the Ford E350, Spiteri's did come in almost a thousand dollars cheaper. They do send out by mail a lot of coupons however, so you could try and use those.

I own a new car and in talking to the Service Writer at Spiteri's, I found that they can perform the checks and services required to keep the warranty valid.
I was impressed with how clean their service bays are, their thoroughness and attention to detail.
My wife commutes daily, so I decided to have it inspected by Spiteri's bumper -to-bumper. They found that the rear brakes needed to be adjusted, which despite being checked by another Shop three times, had never been repaired. Now my brake efficiency and pedal height is much better. They did a couple of other minor repairs and the car drives like new!
