Quick response after a Sunday afternoon call. My message was returned first thing Monday am and they were able to fit me in later that day. There was a follow-on issue that arose. They promptly sent out another engineer who quickly identified the issue and worked to resolve. Overall I would say very satisfied.

They were very very good. They had a little bit of a glitch but they immediately addressed it. My husband is the one who researched it but he thought it was very reasonable so I'll give them an "A". There were 3 workers. It took 2 days. They cleaned up behind themselves.

Michael was professional from the first time he came to give an estimate. Most thorough of any other companies. Completely measured everything to be sure the exact and correct unit size was installed. The team did not disappoint. All were easy to work with and willing to and able to do an excellent job! Our new system is a dream… hvac is quick and energy efficient, ease of use, and looks beautiful in the attic, if that's possible.

I retired after 44 years with PG&E as a Gas Service Rep. I performed safety inspections of appliances and was often called for a second opinion after a company recommended replacement of equipment. I saw a lot of mistakes and a ton of downright fraudulent practices. Some companies were well respected by us so when I wanted to replace our equipment, there was only one company I called...Maki Heating and Air. Over many years, they had demonstrated honesty and expertise to all their customers and I never hesitated to recommend them. LOL...I know this sounds like a cheesy commercial, but it isn't often I see this kind of a business today. They didn't disappoint me when I had them replace my own equipment. My needs were thoroughly analyzed and the best solution was provided along with alternatives. The work was performed flawlessly and professionally, even when I asked them to modify the FAF vent to satisfy my nitpicking. I had my windows replaced at the same time and needed to install a larger ventilation fan, which the Maki workers installed for me with no charge. The window company also replaces HVAC equipment and Maki's price was better, so the expertise, quality of equipment and price made it an easy decision to choose Maki. The installers were very careful and considerate of our home. I have waited until now to write this review to see if any issues would develop, but everything is working perfect and our utility bills have been slashed!

Repaired duct defects. I noticed an immediate drop in utility bills. Later sold property and had no problems with home inspection.

After having had a problem I detailed in a previous review (see the June 2013 "C" rating review), I was contacted by Cheryl Maki, owner of the company and she refunded immediately the entire amount of my checks to MAKI, although I had not requested that. Sean, her representative, told me by phone that "the technician is no longer with us" and had other issues. While that is unfortunate, I was impressed that MAKI takes customer satisfaction very seriously. Would I use them again after this experience? Yes, I would. Companies, like the rest of us, can make mistakes; the real question is how they deal with them.

went well, price of unit I thought was on the high side compared to other companies, but overall they did a great job. they also
installed smoke detectors in all the bedrooms and were very professional. My mother seemed happy with job they did, so thats all that counts!! I take care of this property for my mother since she lives out of state, and I spoke with the tenants and they were also very pleased with the work performed by Macki.
