I called Dandy Door, within one hour got a call back - 20 minutes later he was at my house (I live in San Gabriel).
Prior to calling Dandy Door, I called another service - a man came out and said I would have to replace everything and that would cost me between $350-$450. I wasn't comfortable with that, called Dandy Door, and not only got a fair price but my garage door fixed in under one hour.
I was very satisfied, especially after almost getting ripped off by someone else.

I had a hinge break on a single piece wood 2-car condominium garage door while installing a new opener. The HOA Property Manager recommended Dandy Door, and I called them at approximately 1:00 PM on 10/22/2013 and left a voice-mail message .
The call was returned at 5:20 PM and I was offered a choice of several time slots the next day when they could inspect the door. I
took the 8-10 AM choice, and Phillip (owner) arrived at 9:35 AM. He inspected the door, said both hinges needed to be replaced, and quoted $340.00 for the job. I agreed, and he said he could finish the job the same day if he could obtain the parts, otherwise it would be the next day. He left to see if he could get the parts. He returned at 12:30 with the parts and finished the job at 2:45 PM. I asked him to finish the door opener installation (adjustments), which he graciously did for no extra charge.
Phillip stated he had 25 years experience repairing and installing garage doors, which was evident in the skill and professionalism he exhibited on my job. In addition to his job skills, he was also very friendly and easy to work with. I was very pleased with his work, and highly recommend him.

He arrived on time and completed the job in about 2 hours. He is not on credit cards, so I wrote him a check for payment.and quot;boss

The gentleman came out immediately, quickly assessed the problem with a very heavy garage door at our apartment building. He did not have all the parts necessary, so he sent me to Home Depot to purchase them, rather than making us wait a day for him to come back with the parts. He was also very pleasant, and, I thought, quite reasonable.

THE QUALITY WAS GOOD. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, QUICK AND WERE REASONABLY PRICED. THEY WERE UNOBTRUSIVE AND EFFICIENT. NICE MAN NAMED HENRY AND HE WAS MIDDLE AGED. HE WAS A VERY NICE PERSON.
