From Lisa who took my call to John who performed my work, I couldn't ask for a better experience. John came out and found the issue and looked for ways to save me money while fixing the issue. He was able to pinpoint the failure to the power supply board. Left with the option of ordering a new board and looking at $400 repair bill he went out to his truck to see if he had the capacitors he thought were bad - he happen to have the 2 I needed. Asking if he could use a table to solder I found him a suitable place and he proceeded to unsolder the bad capacitors from the power supply board and install the new ones. A few minutes later while we both crossed our fingers - it worked and my plasma tv fired up as if nothing was wrong. In this day and age where service is out the window - John and Video Tech was way beyond my expectations and they did an AMAZING JOB!!!! I will keep them on my short list in the future and If need a TV serviced you should do the same. I can't say enough about the experience I had - I was beyond impressed?

Technician was not very friendly and even unnecessarily made a comment that tv was obsolete, which I thought was uncalled for. Charge was $95 for the examination and verbal diagnose without an indication as to possible cost. Indicated that estimate was be sent in a few days, then left. Estimate was received which I thought was way too expensive. Second opinion was obtained from competitor was $150 less. Couple of days later I was informed of estimate that if they did not near from me in a week, they was close out the file. This was the first vendor I purchased from you that did not contact me within a couple of days to set up initial appointment. I had to call them about a week later to request appointment. It's been about a couple of months but this is my best recollection of the events.

Accurate and professional advise. Excellent customer service. As a result of the information provided by Video Tech I received a zero cost repair to my 46' TV from Samsung.

Excellent service -- anwered my phone call right away even though it was on the lunch hour. Listened to my problem and directed me to my cable company to fix the problem.

I had a JVC DVD dual deck recorder that was within parts warranty but out of labor warranty. Serviceman Frank cautioned against repairs, since the labor cost would likely exceed the replacement cost of the unit. He not only lost business by his recommendation (his firm provides service only, not sales) but recommended my next purchase via Costco, who extends manufacturers warranties for both parts and labor. This firm saved me considerable time, money and frustration. Thank you, Frank.

Choked at the starting blocks.

Good service. Gave me a call to let me know when they were going to show up, so I didn't have to spend the whole service window time at home. Gave me some good advice to keep my old lamp unit as sometimes they fail completely without warning.

Took system in. No hassle with the warranty. The problem was intermittent, so was hard to diagnose. They fixed it on the second try. No hassle about bringing it back. They warned me there may be as much as a one week wait, but the work was done in less time. The called me as soon as it was ready.
