There is no better Tree Service Company out there !!! I have used more than few in the past. Most are average and some think you are paying for a Ferrari so they for whatever reason want triple the amount for the same work. Met with Esteban and he is a true professional and knows what it means to deliver customer service. He goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied and he makes promises and over delivers !!! Not like most where they promise but under-deliver !!! He went over how they perform the tree service and clean up, very detailed oriented. What I found to be exceptional with their service too is Jerry who is present while the job is being performed. Jerry makes sure you are ok with what is to be done and then makes sure it gets done properly and then makes sure the job is cleaned up. The crew had broken into sprinkler pvc pipes and they without me finding out after the fact or pointing it out to them, on their own fixed them all. All other companies make you find out what they did and then you need to call them to come back out to do the repairs, if they ever make it out too. Also they found an old tree stump where they were removing the trees from and again on their own grinded that tree stump too ! It was not part of the original job until they discovered it. Also on this job I had told Esteban that I needed the tree removal scheduled sooner than later since we were replacing a block wall where these trees were located. So I was caught off guard when I got a call from Esteban that he got a opening and could come a few days later after his initial visit. Also I had emailed Esteban in regards to a couple of items and he responded quick ! I have some rental properties too and they will be the company I use from now on ! Just such a relief to find a company like this around. Esteban and Jerry make an excellent team and i hold them both in high regards !!!! This is a company you want to use !!!

Today was an absolute pleasure working with Gilbert and his Vargas Tree Service team The level of professionalism, attention to details was incredible... And to top the experience of removing FIVE TREES? The Vargas team left my back, side and front yard in better condition then when they started! I would highly recommend them to other Angie customers, friends and family! .....Vargas gets a shining five star for their stellar service and professionalism.

VERY unfortunately, I chose to go with another (non-Angie's List) service, based on a neighbor's recommendation. Their price was similar, and they did a good job with the tree removal, but when we discovered a few days later that they had broken a pipe, they refused to take responsibility for it. I will NEVER deviate from Angie's List vendors again, and will DEFINITELY use Vargas Tree Service for any future jobs.

Very happy with the service! Price was lower than two competitors. I asked Esteban if we could add more work to what I originally requested, and he did so with only a modest increase to the original estimate, even though it was quite a bit of extra work. The crew was punctual and careful.

Jerry from Vargas was outstanding for his professionalism and customer service. He is knowledgeable and managed the job better than any contractor i have used in quite a while. He listened to our concerns and did the job as we asked him to do it. They were clean and thorough. We highly recommend them?.

i have absolutely no complaints. They were very upfront about scheduling and even emailed me to tell me when they were running late. They prepped to insure that no damage was done to our house. Their cleanup was great. They even coiled up a rope that I had on one of the trees.

They came out and gave me an estimate. I really liked him and the way he went about doing things. I wanted to hire them, but unfortunately, they were unable to get me an appointment within the time I needed the work done. I will definitely try using them again.

They are good. The gentleman I spoke to responded quickly to my phone call and came right away. They finished the job quickly as well.

They did better than we even asked for. Very knowledgeable about the trees they were trimming. They were clean and very safe while trimming the trees.

They showed up on time. They did a good work, and they did it quickly. We decided to use them because they came out promptly and did the estimate. They scheduled it quickly and there were three or four other companies that were on Angie’s List that did not even come out.

I contacted Vargas Tree Service through Angie's List to get a quote on having a tree removed. They called me the next day and set up an appointment for Friday morning, September 12th, between 9 and 10 am. Made sure I was home all Friday morning. They never showed up, never called to tell me they would not be able to keep the appointment. So, a Friday morning wasted waiting for them. Still have not heard from them. I listed the cost of service as $1 since I never received a quote and it was a required field.

This was a very difficult job that was complicated by the fact that the person paying for the trimming did was not the tree owner, who changed his mind in the middle of the job. The Vargas's were professional from start to finish both the owner and his son were attentive and took a personal interest in getting the job done correctly and with the best outcome we could have had with the hand they were dealt. I would/will use they fine gentlemen in the future, should I need a tree service again.

Work was done efficiently, tree subs removed. Very neat clean up job. Courteous and professional.

They were excellent. They did a good job at thinning it and cutting off the excess branches on the side. They cleaned up beautifully. I am very satisfied.

I had a large oak in my back yard that sadly died. I had quotes from two other tree services, who's prices were clearly motivated by the address of my home, I called Vargas. They quoted a fair price and did the service the next day. Very professional, and extremely careful. The tree was located very near my house and one wrong move and we would have had a huge hole in the roof. These guys were great!

Very timely, very polite. The trees looked great when they were done. The neighbors trees were cut back appropriately. Everything was cleaned up then they were done. I have used Vargas Tree service twice in the past. They consistently do a great job and are a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

They came that day, despite last minute call and were done quickly and efficiently.

They always arrive promptly and are very easy to work with. They have a trained arborist and know about the different vegetation and how and when to prune correctly. I like that it is a family owned business.

They were professional and on time. They did a great job. I couldn't be happier.

The service went well. We had to have them come back to grind out the stump. Three or four people came out and it took a couple of hours. The price was low. They came out they did the work, cleaned up and were gone. They were the cheapest from all the companies we looked at.

Everything went very well. They came out with three guys and did the job in a little over an hour from start to finish. I will use them again.

Jerry and his workers were very professional and hard working. They arrived on time and Jerry is very congenial and knowledgeable about both trees and plants. He gave me suggestions and let me decide what I wanted done. I also asked him about other plants that have had problems and he gave me several suggestions. He knows and enjoys his work. The crew were very orderly and protected other plants under the trees that were trimmed and cleaned the yard afterwards. They even did a few extra things in my yard. I was very pleased and will use them again.

They were great, very professional. First they coordinated with Gas and SCE company to make sure there were no gas or electric lines next or around the tree, even though it was in a planter (you can never be too careful). They showed up on time, they brought their own tarp for my pool, and covered my pool, and even after the tree was cut and he stump grinded down they cleaned my pool with my net to make sure it was in the same condition before. They actually had a truck that mulched the tree stump right than and there. They were in an out within a 2-3 hour period. I was very pleased on how efficient and professional they were. They also provided the lowest bid in comparison to the other three companies I got bids from. I truly feel I got the best price and the best service, which in many cases are contradictory. Great job Angie for having them, and great job Vargas Tree removal service.

Vargas provided excellent service both in getting the estimate and doing the trimming. They are responsive for both getting an estimate and scheduling work. Esteban provided the estimate and he arrived on time. Then Jerry and his crew did the trimming on time. The work was very well done. The bushes were trimmed and thinned in an expert fashion despite being overgrown. The crew was careful and thorough and cleaned up well after the job. They don't just trim but also thin and shape. This is the second time that we have used Vargas, last time was for tree trimming for liquid ambar trees. Both services were well done and we would recommend them. Their prices are reasonable; for the tree trimming they were lowest of the three estimates that we obtained but they still provided good service and are fully licensed and are qualified arborists.

It was good, we have used them before. They are very prompt, they do exactly as you ask, and they clean up especially well.
