"Our goal is to get ( A ) reviews from all the families we contract with. We have 59 ( A ) reviews and 3 ( F ) reviews for those families I personally apologize. We have been repipeing exclusively for 25 years and we are trying to get every job to full customer satisfaction and that will never change Thanks !!! Patrick Anthony"
The drywall crew restored the walls perfectly. They did an outstanding job of restoring the walls with seamless patching and matching texture. This crew was professional and also thorough when it came to cleaning up.
The only issue I had was the foreman of this 2 man crew misjudged the amount of time they would need to complete the job. Consequently, not much was accomplished the first day. By the 2nd day, realizing he had misjudged time needed on this job, he and his helper got to work. The 3rd day, they worked without sitting down for breaks, lunch and even dinner! Truly hard workers!! They finished the job long after midnight. In the end, I would rate this drywall team as skilled, hard working, professional and conscientious. I have no doubt that this foreman will improve his time management skills in the future.
Overall, I couldn't have been more pleased with this company. Doug, the owner is professional, knowledgeable and extremely responsive to every call. He employed a highly skilled and professional crew for my job. Thank you Pacific Coast Copper Repipe!!
PC Repipe crew arrived as scheduled. Work was to be finished before 5pm but they finished early about 1:30-2pm. That was great I thought until I talked to the City Inspector and he said the contractor had to return and finish the job of insulating the hot water pipes before they would issue final city permits.
I notified PCR (Barbara) regarding the city inspector report and the following problems:
Problem # 1 Job needs to be done right per the contract and the city inspector.
Return to my house and insulate all the house hot water pipes.
Problem # 2 Nobody called me to answer questions I had on the bath shower pressure.
Problem # 3 Need pictures for the city inspector to show proof that work was completed.
The Lack of pictures was holding up final city permits.
Problem #4 Need to fix the hanging vent cover from the newly installed hot water heater.
Problem #5 The crew left trash in driveway and inside hot water heater enclosure. They left sharp broken
pieces of pipe in flower beds.
The next day one of the guys from the crew that did the initial installation arrived and corrected the hot water pipes insulating and took pictures, but was unable to answer questions regarding the other problems above because he said he did not speak English. I Called Barbara again to explain problems. She said she would call Mario again. Mario finally came and fixed the vent and answered shower pressure question. This guy did speak English.
The Next Problem - I notice was that all the old pipes were still under the house. I called Doug Adair and asked why old pipes were still there. He told me to read the contract fine print that says in part? The old existing piping removed when contractor deems necessary?. That seemed unprofessional to me. I reviewed the contract and YES it was in their contract scoop of work plus lots of other details that I or a lawyer should have read more carefully.
In summary Not Happy With Pacific Coast Repipe. Barbara was very helpful and the patching guys were great at filling in the holes in the walls.

"First and foremost Pacific Coast Copper Repipe works to our fullest ability to satisfy every customer that contracts with us. With Angie's List we have 57 A ratings,we have the honor of having earned 4 years in a row 2011-12-13-2014 (The Super Service Award ) 5% of all contractors receive this. One thing I can say, we do not stop working on getting your repipe finaled by the city inspector as well as customer satisfaction. Every so often the time line regarding a repipe doesn't go perfect. Most repipes do go as planned but with this customer it took a little longer and for that I apologize."
the entrance to the house to the water heater located at the back of my garage (water heater is inside the house, not in the garage). This is the first pipe from the main water source and once it gets to the water heater, all other pipes fan out to rest of
the house. However, this pipe which ran along the side of the garage wall to the water heater was exposed and not laid out inside the garage wall where I cannot see it. By the time I found out, additional piping out of the water heater to upstairs and to rest of the house was also being done on the garage ceiling exposed and not inside the ceiling. I didn?t have a heart to tell Jesse to re-do this portion, so I let it go. This makes my garage wall and ceiling very unsightly, but since this is not inside the house, I let it go. However, it would have been better if they had told me about it before the work was started. They were able to complete the entire re-piping effort by about 5:00pm and cleaned up as best they could before leaving. I?ve read some reviews on Angie?s list which mentioned that crews left the house just as clean as when they came. I would say don?t believe them. Even though they made an effort to clean up after they finished the job, it is just impossible to leave the house completely clean, and I expected that.
About a week later, patching crews comprised all of 2 guys came to patch up all the holes made by the re-piping crews as scheduled. I was told the third guy was unable to come. They proceeded to patch up various holes, but I realized one guy was not very experienced. Again, I was not looking over their shoulders to check up on them, but I believe most of the work was done by that one experienced guy. Because of lack of manpower, it took them until 7:45 pm, starting from around 8:00am, to complete the job. As with first group, all working areas were covered by rags and they did an even better job of cleaning up after the job was done. Because it took so long to finish the job, it did cause some inconveniences on our part for obvious reason. When they used patching material to smooth out the surface of the wall, the surface was smooth. However, some
walls in my house are not smooth, but slightly textured. They could not texture in-house walls like they were able to do on stucco outside the house.
In conclusion, I was pretty happy with the work this company did. They were for the most part professional, very punctual, very hard workers and very friendly. However, the management needs to improve on their manpower allocation. When a guy
doesn?t show up for whatever reason, they should be able to replace him and not force rest of the workers to cover for him because this can result in poor workmanship. There is no leak at the moment, but the workmanship grade must wait another 20 to 30 years. It is reassuring to know that the work is guaranteed for life. As for us, 20 years should be enough.
I have lath & plaster walls and was concerned about the patch job., especially on a particular wall with art and a spot light, in my livingroom. I am delighted and amazed at Romero was able to patch the wall so well, that today, I couldn't tell you where the patch is. His work is outstanding! I am in the interior design industry and have worked with many high end painters who's patch work is very good but Romero's is outstanding.
I would highly recommend this company and the Jesse-Romero combo team.
"We are a specialty corporation we only do full Copper and Pex repipes , we wont even do a partial repipe. There is to much liability from the old copper or pex, we don't know what this review is referring to. You are welcome to call 800-556-PIPE"
It went fantastic! The first crew came in on Thursday (from 9am till 5pm) and accessed the old pipes (which were under the slab), ran the new copper pipes through the attic and down to the 2 bathrooms (for toilet, tub, shower and sink), the laundry room--situated inside the house--the kitchen, the 3 outside faucets. They laid down tarps and covered all of the furniture and windows with plastic sheets. They cleaned all the areas. The inspector came in on Friday--he commented that he could tell that the work done was professional, and he was impressed.
The second crew came in on Monday (because of the weekend). They were on time at 9am and were finished by 4pm. All of the walls (inside and out) were patched, and they were textured to match the previous surface (inside and outside).
I was especially impressed at how efficiently the crews worked. Also, there were a couple times with both crews that I heard one or two of the workers singing!!! I think that reflects upon a work crew that is happy and enjoys their work.
The office staff was extremely helpful. They sent me an e-mail the day before work started, letting me know what I should do in preparation and what to expect before, during and after. Whenever I called them, they were quick to answer any questions and allay any concerns.
