I got three quotes and Metropolitan was the best priced and referred by my neighboor, so I was cautiously optimistic when the day came to install my windows today. Perry, Mikey, and Frank (installation guys) were great. Nice guys. They were so patient with me and my questions at the end and even showed my husband some tricks on maintaining my windows. I swear Mikey spent 2 hours cleaning all the windows, I have never seen them so clean. Defintely recommend them.

THIS APPEARS TO BE A PROFESSIONAL COMPANY WITH COMPETENT EMPLOYEES AND WITH ONE SERIOUS EXCEPTION, A GOOD PRODUCT. THE SALES PRESENTATION WAS THOROUGH AND PROFESSIONAL. THE INSTALLATION PROCESS WAS DONE ON TIME AND BY WELL TRAINED EMPLOYEE'S. THE PROBLEM I ENCOUNTERED WAS WITH THE SCREENS ON THEIR WINDOWS. THE MORNING FOLLOWING THE INSTALLATION I FOUND BOTH OF MY INDOOR CATS OUTSIDE! I COULDN'T IMAGINE HOW THEY GOT OUT UNTIL I LOOKED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN IN ONE OF THE SLIDING DOORS AND FOUND IT HAD BEEN PUSHED OUT LEAVING AN EASY EXIT. BEING VERY CONCERNED I ASKED THEM WHAT COULD BE DONE TO SECURE THE SCREENS AND FOUND THERE WAS NOTHING. IN ORDER TO HAVE THE RETRACTABLE SCREENS THEY MUST GIVE WAY AT THE BOTTOM. HAD I KNOWN THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED THIS TYPE OF WINDOW. SINCE THE INSTALLATION I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO USE THEIR SCREENS AND HAVE HAD TO PUT AN OLD SLIDING SCREEN AGAINST ONE WINDOW AND PROP IT UP WITH BRACES IN ORDER TO OPEN THE WINDOW FOR AIR. IT LOOKS TERRIBLE.

"Member purchased an upgraded retractable screen patio door. For safety and proper operation, the screen can be unlatched when the door is open. Two solutions, either replace with fixed screen or put something on the retractable screen latch to keep it from unlatching. We have no record of being advised of this problem and would have gladly offered her either solution. Again, this is one of our products we carry from one of our vendors and this is a feature most customers want to use to delatch the screen easily. We look foward to speaking with member."

WE HAVE USED THE COMPANY ON SEVERAL OCCASION. THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK WAS ALSO VERY GOOD. THE SALES TEAM AND THE INSTALLERS WERE ALWAYS COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. IT TOOK TWO DAYS TO INSTALL ALL THE WINDOWS AND ONE DAY TO INSTALL THE DOOR.
