We had the dumb luck of having our AC condenser fail on a Thursday afternoon, late in day. On Friday morning, I started making some calls for availability knowing that success would most like mean a Monday appointment. After a few calls, I was able to get a that appointment but I decided to make a few more. Much to my surprise, Mighty Ducts said that they would try to get out the same day. That didn't happen, but they were here first thing Saturday morning. As happy as I was, I also knew that the hard part was next. Andres quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced a solenoid. That's it. He told me he was prepared to replace the motor but besides having unit a bit past it's prime, we were in good shape and that wasn't needed. We talked for a bit afterwards and he asked for our business relationship to continue. Andreas went about talking about my family's AC/Heating needs in a good way. I will definitely be calling these guys back for my service needs and when we start looking at the cost for a new system.

A/C not cooling during a week of sweltering heat. Called several companies but none were available for at least a week. Finally, talked to Marie, who said they could be here the next day. Andreas came out, detected a leak, and recharged the refrigerant. We could not be more happy both with the service and the professionalism.

Our air ducts have been needing a cleaning for some time and when our air conditioner stopped providing cold air it was time to call in someone to take care of both. The duct cleaning was completed in about 4 hours with no mess left behind. The airflow which we have now is a great improvement and those in the house hold with asthma have been able to tell a difference in the air quality. Our air conditioner had been apparently leaking coolant for some time due to a faulty valve installed by the previous owners of the house. The AC had run dry and needed to have a new valve installed. All repairs and recharging of the system were taken care of quickly and professionally.

I recently had contract/home improvements done to my house and thought it might be good to have my ducts cleaned of all of the construction dust. I looked at various companies on Angie's List as well as some of the daily deals offered. I decided on Mighty Ducts because they appeared to have the best and most thorough process, though not the cheapest.
I called in mid-July to schedule. Their first open date wasn't till the end of August but they told me they would call if something opened up ealier. They followed up with me twice in the coming weeks. Once to let me know there weren't any openings but they were still monitoring and a second time when an earlier date was available which we scheduled on. On the scheduled date, the workers arrived at around the agreed upon time and completed their work in a satisfactory manner. The process was very thorough. Each duct was covered while a vacuum was attached to the main HVAC opening. You could see the suction force with which the vaccum was cleaning the ducts as the each cover was firmly "sucked" on. They than removed one cover at a time and stuck a rotary brush through each duct opening. The workers were courteous and answered any/all questions I had about my duct work. They were a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend them to others as well as use them again myself.

They came in one days notice, the two young men showed up on time and listened to my concerns . They cleaned all the ducts, vents and sanitized. They worked non stop for 4 hours, very conscience of my need for privacy as I work from home. The price was exactly as quoted on the phone. I will definitely call them again.

They replaced a 3" water heater pipe with a new 4" without having to dig into walls or bringing in roofers. Very happy with them!

We bought a new dryer when we moved to our new house and it was taking way too long to dry our clothes. It was a hassle to take so long to do laundry and we were concerned about having a fire hazard. Because of the safety concerns, I scheduled service as soon as possible even though I only had an hour and a half for the service to be completed before an appointment. Marie was very friendly scheduling the appointment and assured me that the work could be completed in that amount of time. Matt was right on time, called to confirm arrival time, and was extremely efficient and courteous, completing the work in less than an hour. He cleaned out a lot of dog hair (the previous owners of our house had a dog), and determined that the vent cap we had was restricting the air flow. He explained all the work he did and went over what we need to look out for to make sure the vent continues to work properly. He took great care to keep our house clean - wearing booties over his shoes every time he came into the house. Our dryer now works like a charm - it takes about a quarter of the time it did before for the clothes to dry! Thanks, Matt! I would highly recommend Mighty Ducts and plan to call them again in a year to keep our dryer vent functioning safely. Also plan to call them when we are ready to get our air ducts cleaned.

Having taken pictures of our attic before the house was complete, I did not think it was likely anything could be done to eliminate the hot and cold spots in our upstairs. The attic space was 12" to 18" from the ceiling to the roof line, and packed with can lights and electrical and existing ducts.
Andreas and Matt not only specified what additional supplies and returns would rectify the problem, miraculously they they installed these with NO drywall work needed afterwards. I was amazed as I didn't think that would be possible.
The system is whisper quiet now, and is working the way it should have from the start. Andreas understands HVAC from a detailed, technical level- as an engineer would. He also rectified a clunk sound on startup.
There are a lot of HVAC contractors our there that can replace a compressor- but if you need someone that understands how air flows in a house, and where ducts should be to provide even coverage without rushing air- Andreas is your guy. I recommend him without hesitation.

If you are looking for integrity, hardworking, with knowledge to spare, the Might Ducts team is for you. Andreas and Matt efficiently zipped from attic to truck and throughout the house non-stop (okay, they took 15 minutes for lunch), until the new furnace, air, air purifier and fresh air return were up and running and thoroughly tested. After a through clean-up, they stayed until I was tested on my ability to work the thermostat. I had three bids, and hired Andreas because I trusted him. He did not disappoint. For peace of mind, and a job well done, hire the Might Ducts, they are a pleasure to work with.

We needed the ductwork to be replaced due to rodent damage. After Andreas inspected it, he informed us that our current ducting was undersized for the size of our furnace units, so he recommended upsizing the systems. Since my wife suffers from allergies, we also had a HEPA filtration system installed in both systems.
After a slight delay due to a death in the family of one of his workers, they started. They were quite professional and personable throughout the process, arrived on time each day, and were very conscientious about keeping things as clean as possible. The new systems were installed and working by the second day, but they came back the third day to adjust things and make sure everything was working well. There will be another followup visit in the future to perform another check.
The new system works very well. We can already see an improvement in the airflow as well as the quality of the air in our house. We are very happy with their work, and would highly recommend them to others.

My dryer vent had not been cleaned in years and I was woried about the fire hazard and decided to call a professional from Angie's List. This was my first time using Angie's List and my experience was a positive one. From my first phone call to make and appiontment for the service I was greeted with a very respectful and helpful person. She even offered to have the service man call me to give me a time when they would be arriving at my home. This was great because I did not have to take off of work to wait for him to arrive. When I got home Andreas was waiting outside my home and had already setup his equiptment outside my home. He went about his work and was finished in no time. He even explained to me that since I don't do much laundery that I don't need to do this every year and showed me how to know if my dryer vent needs cleaning. I was so empressed with Andraes and his company Mighty Ducks that I will be calling them first for all my heating and cooling needs. Would I recommend them to my friends and you? YES! You won't be sorry if you call them.

GREAT JOB!!!! From the inspection to the quote to the removal of the old ducts and install of the new, everything was performed with full disclosure and unbelievable professionalism. Although I decided to replace the old coil to better match the newer Furnace & A/C units, there was no attempt to "upsell" me at any point. The system was evaluated and flow to all areas of the house improved.This was not a "remove and replace" approach to repairing my old asbestos and galvanized ducting. Rather this process made my system operate correctly and more efficiently. I would trust Mighty Ducts with any work in the future.

Representative was very punctual, extremely friendly, neat, well groomed, cleaned up thoroughly after his work. A rarity and greatly appreciated. I didn't have to tell him to close the garage door or pick up after himself. For the length of time this took (20 minutes?) $150 seems a bit high, but the job was very well done.

Andreas came and examined the air ducts at my house. It was determined that they could not be cleaned and needed to be replaced. So I scheduled an appointment for the following week. I was not home for the work, but my father was there. He stated that he was so impressed with the quality of the work that he hired them to repair his furnace that same afternoon. I wish I had been home so Andreas could walk me through the results, but based on my father's assessment, I am satisfied with Mighty Ducts.

Made the appointment with Marie over the phone. Although Mighty Ducts did not come out to give an estimate, we were interested in having the work done quickly, so Marie gave a rough estimate over the phone.
Andreas and Matt came out to the house on time. They were cheerful and explained the process. They vented the dryer under the house, cleaned up the old lint buildup from under the house and re-attached the dryer to the vent. Total cost was slightly less than the estimate given over the phone. Very happy with their work, and have already recommended them to another friend.

The technicians arrived at almost exactly the appointment time. They were very courteous and efficiently performed the service, without attempting to increase the price above the agreed amount or to sell extra services. As a matter of fact, the technicians went well beyond the agreed upon services without additional cost. The entire operation took about 1.5 hours and the technicians cleaned what very small about of clutter that was created. I was very impressed with this company and would not hesitate to call them in the future, if needed. Would highly recommend.

There are very few times in my life when I've met a company with such integrity and kindness. All we wanted was to clean our ducts and the other three companies that gave us estimates left me with a sick feeling in my gut like we were being manipulated and pressure sold into something we did not need. We could not crawl into the attic ourselves so we had to take their word for it. All the other companies immediately told us we had major leaks, it would cost around $3,800 - $5,000 or more to fix, and we should seriously consider replacing our heater and air conditioning units (both of which worked just fine) taking the estimate to about $15,000. The last guy we spoke with tried to pressure us into replacing odd coils in the heater and buying a UV light, which is again not what we needed. I was so fed up with the dishonesty that we decided to join Angie's list which is where we found Mighty Ducts.
Andrea's honesty and kindness filled me with hope that there really are good people in this world. He was very professional, gave us a thorough assessment, took pictures, and I felt as if we were talking to a close friend who was looking out for us. At first he offered to fix the leaks and thoroughly clean all our ducts for a VERY reasonable price. But since the condo was so old we made a personal choice to replace the ducts completely. We were not pressured to do so, but being people who are very sensitive to dust and weird smells we decided to go for it. Again he gave us a fantastic price and we scheduled a date.

I took a phone estimate from Marie and accidentally left off a couple of vents. They quoted me a price and when Andreas and Matt showed up they immediately let me know that I was off but they would take care of it for me. +1. I started talking to Andreas about the work and life in general and found him to be a very honest and upfront person, willing to instruct about his trade as he goes along and showing me the items he found with a very thorough knowledge and concern for the system. He also kept in mind that I was a renter and not the owner of the system, showing me what was wrong, what the permanent fix should be but how to fix it to protect my family immediately without ripping out large pieces and replacing with new ducts. He threw in a lot of extras that he could have charged me for but did not. I found their service to be very thorough, honest and extremely reasonable for the amount of time he spent at my home. (6 hours for 2 systems). I will definitely be calling him again whether it is to clean another rented system or to upgrade a future purchase. Thanks guys and it was nice to meet you!!

Andreas and Matt were friendly and responsive as I walked them through the work I wanted done and my concerns about it. I had a dryer fire from a clogged vent which still give me anxiety. Andreas had some ideas about re-routing the venting if clogging persists. In addition to the vent cleaning, Andreas also evaluated my 20-year old AC unit, got it running again after years of non-use and thought it still had a few years of useful life left.
They were done in under three hours with no mess. I was very pleased with their work and plan on having them come back in the spring for dryer vent and AC evaluations.

The job did only take the 2 1/2 hours, as quoted, and we thought the charge was reasonable for the work performed. The heater itself looked good as new, for a 13 year old heater, after they were through. He gave me an overall good report on our system and said we could depend on it lasting for quite a long time.They did an excellent job while not getting anything on our carpets, or furniture. They cleaned up very well too. We enjoyed the experience. We had a good cleaning and checkup of our heating system. I would recommend Mighty Ducts to anyone looking for a good clean servicing of air ducts and heating system.
