I absolutely love these people. Prompt, clean, hardworking, efficient, pleasant, cheerful, skilled...the list goes on and on. Arturo and his crew showed up exactly when they said they would, and they worked their a***s off. They accommodated my request to cut up part of a tree for firewood and stack it neatly. They cut down some additional tree branches that had been damaged by the fallen pine branch. They left the entire property cleaner than they found it - there wasn't so much as a pine needle left on my driveway. And their price was literally less than HALF of one of the other quotes I got for the same work.

Last year, I considered trimming my eucalyptus tree. I asked Arturo to come out and provide me with a quote which he did but at the time, he suggested that I wait a year. In December, I decided that it was time to trim the tree and while he hadn't been the cheapest quote that I had received, because he seemed knowledgeable and honest the previous year, I called him again. I spoke with him over the phone and while he said he remembered providing the quote, he couldn't find a copy of it and asked me to send a copy to him - which I did. Since I did so in early December, I have left no less than 10 calls over the last month to his phone number to follow up and he has yet to return any of them. The lack of courtesy is astounding. At a minimum, he should have returned the call and if he did not want to honor the quote, he could have said so. However, he did not. Rather, he never returned even one of the calls (and given that I left several, he cannot claim to have not received them) which suggests a lack of basic decency and courtesy as well as a blatant disregard and respect for people's time.

I left a message on the voicemail, and later in the afternoon, Arturo called back. He was very curteous and was easy to schedule an appointment to provide an estimate. He gave me a one hour window, and showed up near the beginning of the hour. He listened intently to what we asked for, and provided an itemized list for each item. He also offered up suggestions and explanations to what he was being asked to do. We accepted his offer on the spot. We gave some days that worked best for us, and Arturo made the best day work. He and his crew showed up promptly and he stayed the entire time. His crew were polite and professional. Once the job was complete we did a walk through and he explained again what they had done. He and his crew cleaned up not only from the job they did, but also some that we hadn't gotten to. When they left the only sign that they had been here was that our house had a much nicer looking yard and trees. We are very happy with the service, price, and professionalism of Lopez Tree Service, and recommend them to anyone.

Awesome experience! Arturo and his crew were great. I got multiple estimates but picked him because his price was very competitive and his experience as an arborist showed through as he discussed how he would deal with our overgrown pine tree that leans toward our house. He did a fantastic job trimming the tree to reduce its mass but keep a natural and beautiful tree shape.It tuned out much better than I thought possible. I appreciated that Arturo, being a certified arborist, was on site the entire time supervising the trimming. He and his crew also very efficiently removed the two smaller acacia trees and trimmed the pecan, while respecting the fact that it was a neighbor's tree and had to be treated carefully. After a morning of concentrated and excellent work they also cleaned up very thoroughly. Overall a pleasure to work with this company. Would recommend highly.

Arturo and his crew did an excellent job trimming several trees in my yard. He was very responsive and professional, and knowledgeable. The trees look great!

Arturo and his crew were amazing. He was quick in making the estimate, arrived the day they said and did a very professional job on the trees. He really knows his stuff! The trees had been trimmed in previous years and left in bad shape. Arturo knew what each tree needed, how many branches need to remain and shaped the trees accordingly. Cleanup was excellent - no mess left for us to clean up! I highly recommend Lopez Tree Service.

All of it happened while I was at work, so I just got to see the results, which were terrific. It looks like they put some soil where the trees used to be, and you would never know they were there (each tree was at least 20 feet tall). They obviously cleaned up after themselves, as there was no debris in the driveway. Their quote was slightly more than another company, but the other company was booked up for a month, so I was happy to pay a little extra and get it done within a few days of calling them. Very satisfied with their work, thank you.

They did an awesome job. I always try to use family owned small businesses and Lopez Tree Service is just that. Arturo came to the house to review the week needed and provided a written quote. He told me that either he or his father would come with the crew when the work was done. Once scheduled, Arturo's father came to the house with the crew, introduced himself and they got to work. The work was all done very well -- I was particularly impressed with the stump removal from 4 medium sized trees and the overall clean up after the work was done. They were on time, did great work and cleaned up very well. I would DEFINITELY recommend them to others and will use them again for future needs.

Did a great job removing a 30 year maple tree and clean up as if tree was never there so quickly. Pruning of citrus tree could have been better. I would like to have it trim a little more but Arturo stress that it may kill tree from stock of too much trimming. I wish it was shape more.

I ended up going with another company, which I've used before. Was trying to get a lot of stuff around the house done through Angie's list and this company just never got back.

they fixed previously bad pruning jobs on my property done by someone my landscaper said was "really good." well, i should have done my own research because they weren't "really good" for the trees. suddenly my avocado had weird white stuff growing on it, my plums disappeared, and all kinds of other issues on other trees. after a year or so i did my research and found a real arborist in Lopez Tree Service. Arturo and his team are the real deal. they don't use those spikes in the trees to climb them (which hurts the tree and leaves awful marks) and they are truly trained to look after the tree! they prune what is correct to prune in whatever season it is. my avocado came back to life and went crazy in growth it was so happy! my plum tree had the most bountiful and delicious season its had in the last 15 years! now it's time to trim back my oak a bit and i've already called arturo. price is right too. also, he came back a couple times to trim a couple dead branches off i could see once the plum tree started bl...

Excellent! Prompt response to give me a quote and cut the tree down the next day. Very courteous. Cleaned patio of all debris. Would definitely recommend them.

The Lopez Tree Service company did a wonderful job. Exactly how the ower, Arturo explained. Very professional and knowledgable, which made us feel even more comfortable. Arturo returned my call within 24 hours. He made a site visit the very next day, examing the trees. He explained the work that was needed. It went very well. There were 4-5 men working; they cleaned up everything and were done by mid-afternoon

Excellent.. 7 workers showed up at the appointed time and completed the job in just a few hours. They were very careful with the house and cars parked in the driveway and worked very hard and professionally. I will give them a call next year when it's time to do the annual 'trim up'.

Arturo Lopez, the owner, came out to our house at the time he said he would to give us the quote for the removal of two tall dead birch trees including the stump grinding and the trimiming of a large camphor tree. He was very pleasant to deal with, professional, knowledgeable, and told us exactly what they would do for us and the cost, which seemed like a very fair price. On the day the work was to be performed, Arturo and his crew arrived on time (actually ahead of schedule which was just fine) , were courteous, efficient, performed the work professionally and cleaned everything up really well. I would recommend Lopez Tree Service to anyone and will certainly use them in the future.

I called Lopez Tree Service after reading reviews on Angie's List. I left a message and Arturo called me back within a day. I explained that I had a very tall Eucalyptus tree that needed trimming. I also had a dead tree which needed to be removed and other trimming and cleanup. I found Arturo to be very knowledgeable. He set a time to come out and give me an estimate when he returned from his pending vacation. He came out timely as promised. He provided the estimate right away. It did not take long for me to know Lopez Tree Service was the person/company I wanted to do the work. Arturo is very knowledgeable about trees and is a trained arborist. The price seemed a little high, but given all the growth I had from not having had the work done in years, I felt it was fair. I scheduled them to do the work. Arturo and his Dad were on the site with the crew. His crew arrived on time to perform the work as scheduled. In fact, he brought two crews to get the work done faster!! When I came home from work at lunch to check on them, I was very surprised to see how much they had done in such a short time. They had to remove ivy from the Eucalyptus tree and remove lots of growth in another corner of the yard. They completed the work in one day. My neighbors both behind me and to the side had complained of leaves in their pools from my tree. As promised, Arturo said that would not be a problem and was he right! Both neighbors were extremely pleased and said there have been no leaves in their pools. The right corner of the yard is completely cleared and looks great. I highly recommend Arturo. He knows his craft and his crew worked tirelessly. I could not have been more pleased. I will call him whenever I need tree services and will highly recommend him to all my friends. It didn't take as long as I thought it would and I thought $800 for one hour of tree service was a but much, they at first were going to leave some debris but eventually picked it up so overall the work was just okay.

This was the same amount of money I paid my gardner to prune 4 trees 2 years ago. They were very professional, clean and considerate to my neighbors. They came on time and brought a large crew with them so the work got done very quickly. I would highly recommend them if you need this type of service and I would use them again.

I think he great. He is friendly, professional, and reliable. More importantly, he really works with the trees. His work helps the trees grow better and improves their appearance.

Arturo Lopez was awesome. He squeezed me into his schedule on short notice. He described exactly what measures he would take to bring my property into compliance with fire codes, the aesthetic principles he would apply in trimming the trees, and his commitment to personally supervising his crew. He even agreed to have someone climb on my roof to sweep away the leaves and take photographs to satisfy my insurance company of fire-code compliance. He created a detailed written quote on the spot. He quoted a fair price. He agreed to undertake the work while I was across the country, which many vendors are uncomfortable supporting. His crew performed exactly as he promised. I appreciate his knowledge, professionalism, and flexibility. I will definitely use him in the future, and whole-heartedly recommend him. While I have hired other arborists in the past who did a nice job on my trees, Arturo definitely went the extra mile in flexibility and personal attention. Even my picky tenant was impressed and happy.

Got estimates from several tree services that were listed on Angie's List. Arturo was somewhat more expensive than the other company, but I was more impressed with his knowledge and reviews on Angie's List. He indicated that he was willing to match the price of other reputable tree companies, so I told him who else I had an estimate from and he was willing to match it. He scheduled the service for about a week later and showed up promptly with his crew to set up and confirm which trees needed special trimming (the ones over the driveway). He did an absolutely beautiful job on the trees and it was almost impossible to find any debris in the yard when I got home after they were done. That impressed me almost as much as the job itself. Our neighbor across the street saw the work and hired him to trim the oak in their back yard!

I had about 18 feet of 6' tall chain link fence covered with ivy that I wanted removed to make way for a new fence. This ivy was so old that the branches had literally grown into the chain link and the stumps were the thickness of a tree! I had called another tree service I used in the past (who also has good ratings on Angie's List) and he balked after seeing the job, but it didn't seem to phase Arturo and he gave me a great price. After scheduling the job, his guys came out early in the morning, worked like the dickens and finished in about an hour. They were conscientious about concerns I had about debris falling onto my neighbor's property. They were very professional and cleaned up everything nicely.
