Molly Maid started great. The initial cleanup was amazing. Tony promised the moon and back. And on the first service, they delivered. They touched everything, moved everything, cleaned every surface. The house was clean smelling, every surface shiny. If the service had been like this every time, they would have received an AAA rating from me. But it went downhill from there. I paid for their service every two weeks. A couple of ladies (who did not speak English, making it difficult to communicate) would come to the house and clean. Though I could still see a difference, I quickly learned to "prepare" for the maids the day before, putting things away or they would not move things to clean. It looked like they were cleaning "around" things. Then they broke a faucet handle in the shower (how will always puzzle me) and a faucet handle on the bathroom sink. I never knew at what time they were coming, just what day. I had to keep him my dog in the yard on cleaning day because they were deathly scared of my dog (a golden retriever who thinks he is a couch and is the most gentle dog in the planet). But on a rainy day, I kept the dog inside and they had to be "rescued" by Tony because they were literally freaking out. We switched team. Things did not improve. As time went by, the quality would diminish to the point that I could barely see that they had been there. The baseboards were dirty, the floors in the bedroom suite not vacuumed, kitchen floor felt left with residue as if they had not been rinsed properly, the vent hood was still sticky, all the services from the first initial "let me show you what we can do" consultation gone. When one day I came home and had to look around for signs that the maids had been there, I finally cancelled.
Description of Work: Bathrooms, kitchen, living spaces: Floors, surfaces, doors, counters. Vacuum, dust. (Didn't ask for inside appliance cleaning, did not ask for children bedroom cleaning. Did not ask for Master bedroom cleaning other than bathroom and vacuum.) I contracted for 3 hours per visit, 2 ladies. If I remember correctly, my rate was $120 per visit.

We brought in the Molly Maids for the initial deep cleaning prior to our baby shower. After speaking with Tony, I felt confident that Molly Maids would provide the level of service we requested. He advised me that he would come out along with the house cleaners to inspect the job, work that was being accomplished and provide an estimate for the monthly service we were considering. I also called and spoke with Sharon who provided a detailed account of all aspects of the upcoming job. The cleaning crew showed up on time and surveyed the house. They got to work almost immediately. I ask the girls when Tony would be by, they stated they weren't aware of that and didn't know. I had to run a few errands but said if Tony came by to have him call me. My brother in law stayed while I was gone. Tony never showed. We called immediately after noticing the counter tops weren't done and Sharon said she could send the girls back "at no added charge". Really? you are going to waive that extra fee it would cost to resend them out to do a job they should have done right the first time? We also had a few other small concerns at that time, but since everything appears small, I advised that I would just clean it myself and that we wouldn't be hiring the company for further cleaning. Later, we started to notice more issues (pantry door, water marks on the cabinets, not dusting the headboard, some spots on the tile that needed some elbow grease, so we called back asking for Tony to come out to check the issues were having. This is where basic customer service would come into place. Sharon said that Tony won't come out since we aren't having them come out to fix the problems. She said there was no point. She also offered to give us $100 off any future visits. Pretty sure we already stated we won't use your service again, so thanks I guess. Ultimately, she took $30 off the total price of $245. The crew did cut some corners and 4 hours to clean a house that we take pride in keeping clean all the time, was a little over board. We are very unhappy with the lack of customer service from Sharon and Tony. Owners/Managers or whatever their title, should take pride in their operation...they don't. Their stance is if you aren't going to rehire us, we don't care. Well we aren't going to rehire you and we plan on letting everyone know why.
Description of Work: "Deep cleaning" was to be 3-4 hours to clean all bathroom surfaces, mirrors and toilets. Master bedroom only and small hallway would include vacuuming carpets, dusting blinds, baseboards and furniture. The downstairs was a powder room, living/family room will minimal furniture and all tile, along with the kitchen with granite island, cabinets, stainless appliances. Their moniker was if we can reach it we will dust it. Bathrooms were done well with the exception on the exception of the spare bathroom countertop that was obviously glossed over as there was makeup residue still on the counter. Master bedroom was vacuumed, baseboards were cleaned, and furniture dusting. Guess they couldn't reach the small headboard above our bed though as it still had dust on it. Hallway was vacuumed although the stairs will need a second go around. Downstairs is where my biggest issues lay. Our entire downstairs was remodeled and completed a few months ago. All new cabinets, granite throughout, center island, high end appliances, new pantry with frosted door. The absolute works. A small clean is all that was needed. Apparently, they didn't think we would check the areas to clean! The granite center island still had crumbs and some food residue on it. When I ran my hand across the backs of the counter top near the backsplash, I found dirt and dust. The cabinets were wiped down, but I noticed water streak spots along the back side of the counter, kinda like if they used a mop to brush across the area. The frosted glass of the pantry door was also not cleaned.

I've been using them for a few years and they come every week. I'm exasperated that furniture and objects are not replaced; dirt is collecting on baseboards; bathroom fan vents; grease on the fan area of the microwave; door panels they don't clean the windows when there is an obvious need; Not all the surfaces in the bathroom get cleaned (pony wall tile; bullnose tile and narrow edge of the floor molding) and the heat registers and bathroom fan covers don't get cleaned, also ceiling fans are not regularly cleaned nor are window sills; fingerprints on doorsway, cleaning of interior door panels or spider webs. I don't expect them to climb a ladder, but there should be equipment to clean higher areas (like the top of my clock and curio cabinet). They do a very fine job of sweeping floors, cleaning sinks and bathroom chrome. Also, I've never mentioned it to them, because it really isn't that important, but the king size bed often has to be remade the same day because the sheets are not put on correctly. I provide spray polish for the furniture and stainless steel cleaners. I've recently requested that that change whatever bathroom cleaner they are using because it had a very high bleach smell. I called Tony to do this and they complied. In addition, I don't speak spanish and the maids don't understand me. I don't know if I'm supposed to call every week and say "this is what needs to be done but don't do this"...I don't know if every cleaning company is like this; if I am expecting too much, but I don't like seeing dirt built up and I don't like coming home knowing that I have to move the furniture and decorative objects back in place.

I was dismayed to find some items missing from time to time. In a house the size of mine one doesn't always miss little things right away. I have the general feeling that the girls are spending more time looking for things to take than looking for things to clean. I was never happy with the thoroughness of their cleaning.
Description of Work: General Housecleaning - Cleaners usually appeared on time. They spent minimum time cleaning but the house did look tidy whey they were through. When I explicitly made a request if it was within the normal agreement with the company they would do as asked. However, they did not always clean the things that were on the contract, for example, the bathtub was only scoured sometimes, they never clean under beds.

Excellent. Keep in mind that years ago, I gave Molly Maids a D rating. I had a long talk with Tony and cleared up a lot of issues and concerns. Together we worked out a plan and have kept communications open between all parties. I am pleased with the results and believe that Molly maids is doing A quality work.

Molly Maids of Augora cleaned our house for about a year. At the start, they had a 2-3 person team come out an clean for about 2 hours. Initially, the quality was fairly good however; this degraded over time. I called and reported this and an auditor was sent out to review the work. Over time, the crew drop down to 2 people and spend a little over an hour cleaning the house. We have since stopped having them clean our house.
Description of Work: Molly Maids came and clean our house every 2 weeks (2700 square foot house/$120 per visit).
