Steve and his crew are aces in my book. Everything from the original estimate, to the installation, and finally the billing was top drawer. If you need electrical service, don't waste time looking around, just go ahead and call Steve. He and his service are a breath of professional fresh air in the vast wasteland of Tucson service organizations.

They were very professional. Steve and Larry worked with us to help us pass inspection. Because of our previous experience, we had a lot of problems getting things passed. They helped us with our tight budget. Steve is the owner and a very good guy. They cleaned up their mess and they were awesome. The price was accurate for the quality of work they provided.

Excellent quality and excellent service from my initial contact by phone to completion of the work. We live in a house built around 15 years ago and one external electrical circuit contained three GFI's. Periodically one would trip and then the others would follow. By resetting them in the correct order, power would be restored. However in the latest incident, that wouldn't work so all external electrical outlets and devices were without power. I tried replacing them with new GFI's but the new ones tripped immediately upon being reset. I was now beyond my limits of knowledge about electrical circuits so I called United and spoke with Steve and explained the problem. He had his crew at my house first thing the next morning. They too seemed a bit perplexed as to why this circuit had been installed this way and got right to work to diagnose the problems. In the end, they not only got everything working again but they also had arranged it such that the three GFI's are now independent of one another. They also identified a damaged outlet cover and replaced it with a new protective box. When they left, they said my bill would come in the mail. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived as it was about $100 less than I would have expected given the time and materials involved in the repairs. I would definitely use United again and would recommend them to anyone looking for high quality and affordable electrical repairs.

ollowed by Work started at 8:15 and progressed from then on. All work was done after consulting us for locations, etc. Fans were removed and reinstalled follwed by the dining room chandeler removal and location of the new light bar. Outdoor outlet was the final work. The electricans were friendly and cooperative. An overall EXCELLENT job.

I've never had such outstanding service from an electrician. They responded to my service call within a day, called on the day of the service to let me know when they were coming, arrived punctually, and kept asking whether there was anything else they could do for me. As a handicapped senior citizen I was most grateful for their finding other jobs that needed to be done without pushing me to do them if I didn't want to. The accident, which resulted in both of my rental units having no power, happened sometime Friday morning. I was notified by TEP of this incident, which required permits and inspections before service could be restored. Unfortunately, I couldn't get this started immediately, having called a number of electrical contractors. Steve, from United Electric was the most helpful in attempting to help me giving some other contacts, since his crew was already on other calls. Having been unsuccessful in my endeavors, I called Steve who agreed to meet me Monday morning to get this work underway. Steve's intervention in all the necessary processes of permits and inspection after the work was completed resulted in the restoration of power the next day. I was informed of the progress throughout the days by Steve and Jim. This was a big job and despite the problem of having this accident happen over a weekend, I couldn't be happier with the quick and efficient job provided to me. The price was much less than I expected, and will certainly use this company again and recommend them to others.

Steve and his electricians were terrific. Steve came to the house to take a look at what we wanted to do & made suggestions how to accomplish each project. He provided a proposal the following day with each project itemized separately. We had a tight timeline for the office outlets, but our porch fan had to be special ordered, so his electricians completed the office & BBQ projects on the first visit. When the fan finally arrived, the electricians returned to install the wiring for the final project. The electricians were great....they took time to discuss with us the exact location of each item. When we received the invoice, Steve had reduced the price because the work was completed "in record time". The whole experience was a pleasure....we ended up with exactly what we wanted. We will definitely be using Steve again for future projects.

Steve was prompt in showing up to give the estimate. Called him back a couple of days later to accept his bid and that's when I mentioned the Angie's list discount. He agreed to it and said he would do the work in a couple of days. Waited a week and he never showed up. I surmise that he decided after the Angie's list discount, doing the job wasn't worth his time. I did leave him a message to ask, What's up?, but never got a callback. Overall poor communication and after a no-show and no callback, I would say his punctuality is lacking. I would not recommend.

The issue with the electirical outlets was reported to my home warranty company who had assigned another electrical company to come to the house to diagnose the issue with the outlets. The electrician determined that there were 3 total outlets impacted and that the wiring had gone bad and needed to be replaced and rerun from the eletrical panel to the outlets. This was not covered by the home warranty but the electrician provided a quote for the repair.
Since the repair was not covered by the warranty, I contacted several other electrical companies to get a quote for the repair including United Electric. Steve contacted me and discussed the issue over the phone. He was skeptical that the wiring would be bad due to the age of the home and suggested checking out the GFI outlets that might potentially be on the same line as the outlets that were not working. It turned out that the issue was caused by a tripped GFI. Even though I did not need service to be performed, this saved me a significant cost for repairing something that was not broken. I appreciated his professionalism in handling my service request.

"Wow was I surprised when I saw this report! As you can see by my other numerous reports all are mostly "A's". I guess this guy must have needed someone to use as a punching bag. I'm just sorry it was me. After checking with my technician for this job he told me that this customer was very happy and we completed the job with no issue's. I even gave him a courtesy call after the work was completed and he told me everything went well and he was happy with what we did. He waited 2 months to write this report. I guess he woke up on the wrong side of the bed on this day and decided to take it out on me. Not sure why but now I have to live with it. Some people are just mean! Thanks, Steve"
