TLD LANDSCAPE DESIGNS was started in 1998 by Dan Thomson. Dan Thomsonbhas been in the landscape industry for over 28 years and with his wealth of knowledge and experience in site design, native plantings, irrigation systems and hardscape construction, we are proud to have been successful to continue and expand our quality services througout the years. Given that it takes' more than just one person to operate a successful company, TLD LANDSCAPE DESIGNS has been extremely fortunate to maintain crew members that have integrity and experience in the trade. We work our scheduling to allow for two crews' to be working simutaneously, so no job is too big or too small. Our committment to quality work and client satisfaction is proven with each project we do, as we have built our company through referrals and satisfied repeat clients. We take a complete hands-on approach with each project - from our intial consultation, throughout the construction process and beyond project completion. Dan from TLD was recommended by Larry from Sidewinder pools. I was doing the pool and backyard at the same time. It was a great experience working with Dan. He coordinated effectively with the pool workers as well as another contractor that I had working at the same time. Once the pool was done Dan's crew came in and started the backyard work and they worked continuously for 2 weeks to get everything done. It was a significant amount of work and I was extremely happy with the duration and quality of work. Dan is very detailed and will work with you to make sure everything including things that you don't think about are taken care of. There were several things that I did not think about like having irrigation for pots and plants that I might have in the future or the path lights and spot lights that were put in. He will design the yard and is flexible in working in any changes you might have. Other than changing out a few plants and area of turf I stuck with Dan's original plan since we liked it a lot. He is also flexible in working any changes while the project is in progress.
Dan kept to the original estimate/budget. We ran over about $2000 only because I increased the turf area after the original estimate.
I will definitely consider using TLD Landscaping in the future and highly recommend them.

We were treated with the utmost courtesy, were kept informed every step of the way, and the project was completed as described in the contract, though there were several delays. Attention was paid to small details, the work site was always left clean, and the final product is absolutely beautiful. We had a final walk-through in which the new lighting and irrigation systems were explained in detail, and a follow up meeting was promised in a few months to insure that the plants were healthy and all the components of the project were working correctly. We were also encouraged to call with any questions that might arise.

TLD is a professional, capable, dependable company, whose pride in workmanship is evident. The drawbacks in our expereince involved timelines and follow up. There were delays in reponses to calls and emails. The original review was edited to reflect these issues.

We were very happy with their work. Dan was very professional to work with from the initial bidding process to job completion. We had an excellent 3man crew work that were hard working, experienced, punctual and attendant to our work requests. The crew lead was particularly outstanding. Dan stopped by almost daily to review the work.
We would not hesitate to call TLD again for any future needs.
