We recently purchased a home in the Catalina Foothills of Tucson. Our realtor referred us to Vhal at The Yard. Our property is entirely cacti, agave, rip rap (rock walls), and other native plants and trees. The property had not been cared for in years, and Vhal and his crew came in Phase 1) to clear away plants from around the house and wall in preparation for stucco repair and painting, and Phase 2) to remove dead plants and thin out all the others. This whole process took 4.5 days. Our landscape now looks entirely different and is incredibly beautiful. We look forward to the monsoon season to see how the existing plants flourish and grow. We are also excited to work with Vhal on Phase 3, which will involve introducing more native gravel and incorporating some new plantings. After this is complete, we hope that Vhal will maintain our grounds for many years to come.

SUPERB! Serviceman, Mr. Vhal Paz, was very punctual, professional and thorough in his tree service work. Carefully surveyed the work site near rough terrain and idemtified optimal access points and safe extraction. Work was done quickly, above and beyond results and included a rather impressive clean up phase leaving my property in outstanding orihinal condition. Exceptional landscape work for a very fair and reasonable rate. Glad to work with Mr. Paz again.

Vhal came out and cut down a Palo Verde tree for me at a very reasonable price. He beat out two other bids that I acquired. I hired him again for yard work and his work is exceptional. I will hire him (The Yard) again, and I share his contact info with my friends and family.

Vhal does a great job! We had several trees trimmed, shrubs trimmed and other plants cut back. He also blew off our front porch, driveway, back porch and all of our walking stones. We are really please with all the work did to make our yard look great!

The crew that The Yard sent out had everything done in a matter of hours. Not only did they remove my tree but my yard was raked, my sidewalk and street was cleaned as well. We had some tree limbs that were brushing against our tile roof across one side of the house and across the back. The Yard has been doing our landscape maintenance for about a year, so they were the logical choice. The limb removal was more than our maintenance agreement covered so it was an extra. They promised that it would be done this week ... it was done and we're pleased with the job they did. We are also very pleased with the general yard maintenance they've done for us over the last year. Their pricing is reasonable. The crew is efficient. I would recommend them for anyone's landscape maintenance needs.

Val has always been there when he said he would be or if he couldn't be, communicated that with us and was promptly there as soon as possible. Fair fees, honest work and if something needed addition attention he came back to make it right or to complete the job. He has never not done what he said he was going to do and is very professional. I would highly recommend him.

I hired The Yard to take care of the weeds in my front and back yards on 06/22/18. They arrived when they said they would and went straight to work. It took them about 3 to 4 hours, from start to finish, which included getting rid of the weeds and blowing/spraying everything. Upon inspection, since they just went over all of the weeds with a weed-eater, both of my yards had little "weed stumps" all over the place. I'll admit my yards looked better than they did before The Yard's crew started, but it was clear the job was done as quickly as possible and very little attention was paid to the quality of the work. I was told my yards were sprayed -- I honestly couldn't tell if they were because they didn't use the spray dye (the stuff that turns your yard green) -- but weeds started growing back inside of 1 week. It's now been 3 weeks since the work was done and both yards have a fair amount of weed growth (more than I would reasonably expect, considering I was told the spray was both a killer and growth inhibitor). Needless to say, I don't think the amount I paid was worth the quality of the work I got in return. I would definitely not hire The Yard again or recommend them for anyone else's yard work needs.

This is a great company. They do a variety of outdoor services. Remove weeds and clean-up debris. I recommend them highly.
