OCTOPUS CAR WASH

I use this car wash because they are one of the few on my side of town, and seem the best. They do a good job of washing, but if the place is busy, the quality of the finish work isn't as good and I have to ask to have areas wiped down to remove smudges or pools of water. The staff is always courteous and friendly, and I do leave a tip in the communal jar because I know they work hard.

They did OK work... not bad but nothing to cheer about. I would use them again for quick wash and vacuum but not detail service.

vacuum job not as good as it could have been. antenea not replaced where it should have been. mats not put in correctly which created a driving hazard until I stopped to fix it. cleaning of inside of car was not done or looked like it hadn't been touched.

I like that it's close to the house and they do coupons occasionally like in circulars.

My wife and 3 young kids use the van on a daily basis, and it had been 6 months since last cleaning, so Octopus had their work cut out for them. Was told it would take about 50 minutes, however it ended up taking almost two hours. But what was lacking in punctuality was more than made up for in quality. The detailer was extremely thorough in his work. For example, I saw him clean and re-clean the windows (interior & exterior) at least 3 times. In the end, I was late to work, but more than pleased with how shiny and clean the van looked.  Will be back to this location for sure...probably won't wait another 6 months though.

Unless you want to pay full price, your business is NOT appreciated. Went to use my Groupon at 6611 N. Thornydale, Tucson, AZ and as I told the "Greeter" I had a Groupon, a 2nd 'Greeter" said sarcastically "another Groupon" as if the business did not appreciate Groupon customers. I told the cashier of my displeasure, told I her I would never patronize this business, and she called the manager. I never met the manager. The 2nd "greeter" attempted to apologize later and said "the conversation was meant to be between him and the other Greeter". So that confirms that they don't want Groupon Customers. I am extremely dis-satified by the experience and will never patronize this business again. 

Service was prompt and courteous. Waiting area was clean and comfortable. The vehicle's progress is visible through windows. Towel dry missed a spot, but overall, I was satisfied. It was faster, easier, and less expensive  than going to a do-it-yourself car wash.

I had to shake out the driver side front and rear mats as they were covered in debris. The windshield still had bugs stuck to it.

I went to get my car washed. They offer 1/2 price on Tuesdays & Thursdays. They did not wipe the wheel wells. They did not wipe down the dust on dash area etc.They left a product on the tires that looked like Armorall, they were dripping wet with it.   The product sprayed all over the sides of the car as I drove, which promptly attracted dust and dirt to make the car look like I had driven through oil. I took the car back a few weeks later to have it hand waxed. I told the man about how the wheels looked on the previous visit. He told me that if they did not wipe them down afterwards, to ask them to do so, which I did. The same thing happened to the side of the car. Additionally I found wax on several places on the car that had not been wiped off. I will not go back to Octopus Car Wash on Valencia.
