He was very professional as well.  I don?t remember his first name but he was very thorough and clean cut.  He did a thorough look at our unit.  It was just well done and he gave me some tips to look into.  I think we had some rust in the bottom of the pan and he instructed me because I did not want to pay someone to scrub it out so I did it on my own.  He was very thorough.  They did go over the big deal of $65.  I remember they did more than I expected.  I really appreciated how professional that guy was.  I have never been pleased with the service.  He was very good, leaving me with confidence that we have a good system and that he addressed the issue.  He did an excellent job and he went above and beyond.   

It was a good value for the big deal.  I am planning on calling them and using them regularly.  They are very good about scheduling and they got me in quickly.

When I arrived at my new house at 8 am, Chandler was there waiting for me. The crew arrived on time and installed everything new, tested it, and cleaned up all the mess. The whole experience was very good. They explained how the system worked, and showed me how to work it. I was concerned about the noise level, and it is quieter than Chandler had promised. Standing next to it while running, I could carry on a normal conversation. In fact, the only noise was from the air going across the fan. I couldn't hear the compressor at all. The thermostat is the latest, showing the outside temp/humidity and programable to start and stop when you want. The workmanship, professionalism, attitude of everyone was excellent. I can't remark on the efficiency of the unit, or how well it cools or heats, but at this point, I couldn't be happier. The outside unit and the inside air handler looks very nice, too.

imagine any business being better, and if this product is as good as
Chandler says it is, this whole replacement of an old unit will be one
of the highlights of making my house modern and liveable.

Two months earlier, I had another company come out and service the same unit.  The first company determined that the refrigerant had leaked from the Schrader valve.  They refilled with refrigerant, claimed that the valve still leaked, and used a sort of rubber cement to affix the plastic cap to the valve in the hope of stopping the leak; as they claimed the valve could not easily be fixed.  They charged me over $700 for everything, and specifically refused to warrant the repair.  They also said that a replacement system would cost around $7,000 and that they would be happy to sell it to me.

Mission Heating & Cooling came out the day I called, even though their schedule was already pretty full.  I told them that I might need a replacement system, but that I wanted their opinion.  The owner came out and determined that the technician from the previous company actually broke the valve (or the cap, I'm not sure which).  He fixed the valve/cap by installing a new one, refilled the system, and was on his way in less than 30 minutes.  Later that day, the front office emailed to me the bill:  $175 for everything.  The air conditioner was running fine by the time I received the bill.

I spoke at length with the office (actually with the owner's mother), and she related how they had heard for years about all the lies and cheating by A/C companies and technicians; and that they decided to start their business to provide an honest alternative.  They certainly treated me with honesty and efficiency.  They have won a customer for life and I told the same to the owner's mother.

By the way, if I ever need it Mission Heating & Cooling will install a replacement system for me at the same location; for around $2,000-$3,000 - a far cry from the $7,000 quote from the first company.

IF YOU NEED A/C OR FURNACE SERVICE, GIVE THIS OUTFIT A CALL.  We all deserve to be treated with honesty.  In turn, honest outfits deserve all our business - don't you agree?

came early, underbid others by 15-20%,showed up with a crew of 5 and done in about 6 hours. seer 15 amana unit seems excelent. only hiccup was the electrician said he would put in a programmable thermostat and a non-programmable thermostat was installed.

From first visit to completion of installation, owner of Mission was professional, punctual, explained the function and fine points of our new units.  Price was very reasonable compared to several other companies and would not hesitate to recommend Mission to others.

From the bid process through the installation the provider was very professional. 

This company was recommended to us by a friend who used them in maintaining several rental units. He said they did good work, were reasonable in pricing, and above all were ethical and honest in all dealings. It was the last part of this recommendation that sold us because we had several experiences with other HVAC contractor that left a bad taste in our mouth. I have written reviews of these experiences on Angie's List for those interested in learning "what not to do".
Our 14 yr old heat pump compressor died while we were on vacation. As mentioned, we had two of Tucson's bigger HVAC companies bid the job, both coming in  at almost $20,000. Both had sales people trying to justify the price. We knew that a replacement system could be purchased for around $4500 delivered. So that left over $15000 for install costs....! This is when we knew we needed to look for another option. NO way should the labor costs be 3 times the cost of the product. So we heard through the grapevine that there was a local HVAC company serving the Green Valley area that did good work at reasonable charges.
Mission Cooling and Heating is a small company serving Pima County and surrounding area. The owner, Chandler, came to our home and we discussed the install. He looked at our system and said he would have a price for us that afternoon. He called later that day and quoted a price 1/3 of the others. Same work, same products, and could start work in three days(he had other work going). 
Install went well, all our questions were addressed as the work proceeded. After install he went over the warranty and rebate(s). Again all our questions and concerns were addressed. Worksite was clean when they left. System has been working for almost a week now with no issues. We are extremely happy with the experience and recommend Mission Cooling and Heating. Don't be drawn in by the "dog and pony show" presentation from the large HVAC companies. Do your homework and shop around. Your savings can be substantial, as our experience shows.

The unit was fixed, recharged, tested and work warranted for another year.  What more could I ask.  The unit has been running great the past 2 weeks of 100 plus degree weather without any problems.

Chandler and Josh were punctual and professional. They worked all one day to install the new heater and A/C, did not get done by 5pm but came back the next day to finish in a few hours. The work was done efficiently and the new A/C works great. They were very conscientious about keeping the house as clean as possible and vacuumed everything before they left. Highly recommended!

The owner of the company, Chandler Maccomber, was on time for the inspection and very friendly. He identified a low (but sufficient) level of refrigerant in one of our AC units. He refilled the refrigerant on the spot. After he left we noticed a slightly increased noise level coming from the compressor unit that he worked on. We notified Chandler and he arrived within an hour even though he was far away from our home. He resolved the noise problem, which was caused by  a panel of the compressor housing that had slightly loosened during the work.
Great service and very friendly. Very reasonable in his pricing and service/repair suggestions.
