Kitchen and Bath Remodeling
Grey Colt Construction did our master bath remodel. The old shower was literally falling apart. The crew came in, did what I asked, helped with choices on tile, grout, etc. I could not be happier with this group and the outcome. I had many estimates scheduled and half do not even show up. Grey Colt showed up when promised and kept to the timeline. You will be happy with Grey Colt!

Miguel and his crew were fantastic all around. They renovated our garage with drywall and insulation, installed a door, and fixed the garage door. It's like new! Miguel was very courteous and professional and kept me very up to date. The guys were very respectful working on our property and cleaned up everything as well. The contractor came to the house for an estimate which I never did receive even after calling to remind him. I had another contractor on hold , this was inconvenient for both of us.

This could not have gone better. Their work is very affordable, lower than other estimates. The quality of work is quite high. Importantly, the workers were friendly, polite, timely, cleaned up after themselves, and were never a bother. I highly recommend this company across the board.

What I have learned from this is to not allow someone to continue to work and not see any advancement. After Miguel and his crew got in and moving everything was complete in about 6 weeks....had I gone with him first I am sure I would have been in my home 6 months earlier and have a lot more money in my purse. My daughter has hired him to do some work at her house next.

The exterior of the guest house was power washed and repainted. The workmen did an excellent job and came back to double check for any missed spots (which they corrected).

Great!! The work was scheduled and completed right away. More wall repair was needed than I realized and that all looks great. The painters came in and worked over the weekend to finish my work. Everyone was great. I'm not really sure why they were so great and so available since other contractors I contacted took long to give a price and to try to schedule. Grey Colt is licensed and probably not available for small jobs but they are very responsive and may be able to help you out. The wood sealing outside looks fabulous, and the fireplace surround pattern was designed on the fly and looks genius.

Great, the Grey Colt team stripped and sanded the old paint and re-coated with fresh paint. Looks like new. They were very careful not to make a mess which was very important as they were near the pool. Would definitely hire again.

Very well! Punctual courteous and quick! A hassle-free repair after an unfortunate storm related drywall collapse in the add on room. They even matched the texture to the old texturing. Have used them in the past and would definitely use them again. And the price was great!

Interior Painting
Miguel and his crew were super courteous and punctual during the quote process as well as during two days of work. The issue is with the quality of work. After scraping and skim coating the ceiling it was not sanded, and skim coat remnants were left on the walls near the ceiling and painted over. In addition, nail holes in the wall were not filled prior to painting (To be fair I didnt pay for the walls to be skimcoated, but i consider filling nail holes part of a paint job especially since I asked Miguel if they would be filled prior to painting. Caulking was also used in several corners of the room including around the removable vents for each room. Miguel did offer to have the walls redone, but I declined and finished the job myself.

"In all fairness this job was only half way done and we where not allowed to complete. As stated by the homeowner. The job total was $1,700.00 but we only collected $850.00. It would have been nice to have been able to complete this project to show the homeowner the quality of work we do. Grey Colt came out within a few days of my inquiry to inspect the wall and to give a quote. He worked with my budget and even gave me ideas on how to lower the cost of work. He was prompt during the appointment and was very respectful of the home and of us - wearing foot covers, laying down generous tarp, etc. He and his teammate worked quickly and were finished sooner than anticipated. They are very friendly and accommodating. We were able to pay with our debit card.

His painter was very careful painting two very large rooms since the original colors were not the same. All work was done with care. Consequently it was done well. Miguel did return to correct some plastering which had not settled well without additional charges.

Lousy customer service. Company would not fix plaster that was their fault. Miguel wanted to charge me double to fix the problem with the plaster. Men doing the job said that washing exterior wallboard was ok. Plaster dislodge in places.

"In response to this review the damage to the drywall was caused by [Member Name Removed] the home owner. He decided it would be OK to spray the drywall with a water hose through a spray nossle. When he did this he washed off the drywall mud therefor exposing the tape and also caused a couple of cracks. I went out to look at the damage and explained how he caused the damage. I also gave him a discounted rate to do the repairs not double.he wanted me to do the repairs for free. When I told him no he got upset. This damage was on the porch ceilings where he was trying to wash off the stucco that got on the drywall by the stucco guys. The rest of the drywall that we installed in the home is in perfect condition. Very hard to please someone who just wants everything for free."

the owner Miguel was very knowledgeable in fixing dry wall. came on time. clean up when done. VERY POLIT and PROFESSIONAL!! ALSO very reasonable in his quotes. I will be using him again in the next project. In the pictures below there are shadows due from the new paint to the old paint. Which will get painted at a later time.
