They responded quickly and fixed the sewage clog, as one can imagine a quick response was much appreciated because of the sewage back up into our house. While here they replaced old toilet in master bath and old faucet and garbage disposal we had been wanting to replace for some time. Their prices for the equipment installed and labor were reasonable. They also recommended several clean up companies to take care of the water/sewage damage that were able to respond immediately. We would certainly recommend Economy Plumbing Service to friends and members of Angie's List.

This plumber did not perform all of the tasks that I had specified in a Statement of Work. The installation instructions for the new water heater stated that a thermal expansion tank was required if a check valve was installed on the cold water supply. Since there was no check valve on the old installation, I asked Bryan if a check valve was required by the latest code. He said that it was not and would not need to install a check valve. I then told him that he would not need to install a thermal expansion tank based upon this answer. When the job was completed, I found that he did go ahead and install a check valve on the cold water supply but did not install a thermal expansion tank. This would have voided my 12-year warranty on the new water heater. I also discovered that he did not install the foam insulation on the copper supply lines or the pressure relief valve. When I called Bryan to seek resolution to these issues, he was very rude and unprofessional. He said that he did not believe that a thermal expansion tank was necessary and would not come back to install one. He also said that he threw the foam insulation away that came with the new water heater. He said that foam insulation is worthless and does not result in any energy savings. He did agree to replace the foam insulation. I found two tubes of foam insulation laying in the middle of my driveway a couple of days later. I went ahead and bought a new thermal expansion chamber and installed it in the water heater plumbing system myself. I also install the foam insulation on the piping. During the disassembly of some of the new plumbing that Bryan had installed, I noticed that he had not applied pipe dope or teflon tape to some of the pipe connections. I corrected these issues during the reassembly. I was completely dissatified with Bryan's performance and professionalism. I will not ever hire him again nor will I recommend him to anyone else.
