Carter's Services

Mr. Carter came out shortly after I contacted him. We discussed the job and cost and arranged for the work to be done the next day. The four man crew arrived on time and went over what they were supposed to do with our midtown yard. This included edging the curb, trimming the overgrown trees and bushes, weeding desert and landscaped areas and mowing a small lawn. They  removed debris and leaves from areas that have gravel as well as bark and also cleaned the eaves. They also dismantled and hauled away a rusted metal shed and some of its contents. The carport area was weeded, cleaned and sprayed. Before they left, we walked over the property and made sure everything was done as we wanted. When they were finished the yard looked better than it had it a very long time. We were very pleased with the work and the men doing it. The price was fair. We plan on using Carter's Services again.

The guys did a great job! I originally called Carter last week to see about a tree that fell over after the storm. He showed up the next morning (and on time!) and after discussing the condition of the tree I asked him about monthly landscape maintenance. He was able to set me up for the following week (today) and again they were on time! I have never had a landscaper show up on time before, and for that alone I am giving them an A rating! The guys were all friendly and even though there wasn't much to do (new landscaping) they were still here over two hours and the yard looks fabulous!!! I am very happy with the result. The price listed above was the monthly service and the pre-emergent (the reason for the increased cost of service).

Carter was great from the start. We only had a rough idea of what we wanted when we called him; we only knew that we needed to improve the drainage around our carport for monsoon storms but didn't really know WHAT we needed to do. Carter assessed the situation, gave us a recommendation and estimated the project cost at $2000 or less. He was very careful throughout the project to make sure things weren't costing too much, and did come in well under his estimate. We had a french drain system installed on the "uphill" side of the carport and a flow-out area on the other side that resembles a wide stream bed. (Luckily, we had already installed drain pipes underneath the footing of the carport! Otherwise, this project would have cost much more.) Carter's crew is extremely hard working and very professional. Be aware that when you use this company, you will be expected to pay vendors for the rental of heavy equipment (such as Bobcats) and any materials. Since Carter carefully explained this at the start, we didn't have any problem at all with this arrangement.

Called Mr Carter at 9:00, describing service I needed performed.  Mr. Carter stopped by at 11:00 to provide an estimate.  By 12:15 there was a crew working in the yard.  I have never had such prompt, professional, reasonable service performed by anyone I have hired to work on my home.  Thank you Carters Service, I will certainly contact you again and provide your name to anyone needing yard/landscaping service. A thoroughly pleasant experience all around.

We hired Carter last October to do a full trim and clean of our yard. We were very happy with the price and the work performed. Now it's May, and we've just had Carter come out to do spot work: blowing out pine needles and trimming grass around the perimeter. Carter was very respectful of our budget on this small job. And once again, the yard looks great. The work was performed in a timely fashion and communication was good. We will continue to work with Carter.

I don't remember the exact rate, but we chose Carter because he quoted us the best price of the three or four contractors we dealt with. His crew was punctual and diligent. The yard looked great. Seven months later, we've just now had Carter out for another quote and we intend to keep working with him.

The crew showed on time and earlier the next day. On time quote and very quick to schedule. Cleaned all debris from areas. Very quick to clean and go. They worked hard. They arrived on time and proceeded to trim bushes and trees, weed front and back yard, clean up front and back yard, and haul all debris. They did an excellent job and we are completely satisfied.

This was one of the BEST experiences I have ever had! Responses were timely; came out same afternoon to survey and ask questions about what i wanted and/or expected. Gave me a complete estimate of all costs involved and we set a date for the next morning. He and his crew arrived on time and set right out to accomplish the task. Not only were they professional, but also friendly. Cleaned up afterwards. If there was ever anything they had a question about, they involved me in the decision making. If i didn't know what to do, they provided a suggestion or options and what it entailed so I could make an informed decision.
The yard(s) look beautiful and I plan to hire him again in th4e very near future

This is the second time (and certainly not the last) we have used Carter and crew. We had an old patched together paver patio that had not been installed correctly and that the crew removed.  Although others weren't able or interested in removing the mortar from the pavers Carter was able to remove it from many of them and we now have enough to build a new, proper patio.  The crew stacked the pavers in an area out of the way, and hauled those that couldn't be salvaged. As with the last time, they were very responsive and scheduled work soon after our call.  The crew works very well together, they are respectful, clean and efficient.  We had received an approximate estimate from Carter prior to scheduling.  The work was completed in less time than expected, and the cost was much less than anticipated as a result. We appreciate that Carter is honest about what he is able to do. They are very good about cleaning up after themselves and other than the beautifully clean yard, one would never know they'd been here.   We are very comfortable with Carter and crew...we find them to be pleasant to deal with, honest, responsible people. We would most definitely recommend them. Maybe we'll adopt them so we'll always have them at hand!! :)

They arrived on time and did all the work discussed in the estimate in a thorough and professional manner. This included extensive trimming of several trees and a very large hedge. They thoroughly cleaned up and left everything looking great. I would definitely use them again.

Carter and his team did an excellent job for us! Carter responded in person witin hours of our initial inquiry and offerred great input on removing vegitation. He was very honest about what they could remove and what needed to be ground down or left. They were on time, worked through heat, and checked in on a regular basis to make sure we were happy with work. Best of all they didnt damage the irrigation and they cleaned up their mess so all we were left with was a nice clean yard. We will definitely use them again!

The job went by very quickly, there were 3 men with pitchforks cutting down my cactus and removing them.
I was very happy with the job. They cut the cactus down to ground level.

I moved into a home that had been vacant for almost a year.  The outside was unattended for that period and quite overgrown. There were a number of things that Carter and I decided to do and he was able to get it done in a shorter time than I had anticipated and for less than we had initially discussed.  I'd use him again in a heartbeat

Trees were trimmed in consultation with me. The bushes in both the front and backyard were all trimmed. A key to the service wa the collection of a majority of the bean pods that had fallen from the trees in the front yard. Everything was done to my expectations and in some case exceeded my expectations. Apparently, a resident of my subdivision was impressed and contacted Carters for an estimate for a possible job.

Mssrs. Carter arrived at 06:00 as advertised and I explained to Mr. Carter, the younger, how I wanted the Pyrocantha trimmed.
Under guidance, Mr. Carter, the elder, began trimming Mesquite trees and bringing the limbs to me to be chipped/shredded (I had begun the process by trimming the Mesquite in the alley) and cutting limbs too large to size for the grill/BBQ pit.  When Mr. Carter, the younger, finished in front, he brought me the trimmings to be shredded, and began blowing Mesquite beans and other "trash" to be collected and placed in City Garbage cans since it was collection day and the trucks had not arrived, yet.
Inspection(s) by my wife resulted in the front weed-pulling being postponed until "Winter" and the back porch and patio being also blown clean.  The temperature was getting warmer, so they closed up activities at 4.25 hours, but, I paid them for 4.5 hours, forgetting that the Mesquites in the side yard, though trimmed, hadn't had all their beans picked up.  Ah, well, next time.
A good job, done in a timely manner, at a fair price.  I will hire them again.

They did an excellent job.  The curb appeal looks great after they are finished.  That is why I have had them provide monthly service for the last several years.

Carter and his crew did an excellent job, and did it professionally.  They came when they said they would, did what they said they would do, and the cost was exactly as estimated.  I would recommend this company for any job in their line of work.  Extremely satisfied with their work.  We have asked them to come back on a regular schedule, and perform the same work even if we are traveling.  They  can be trusted to do this.  This is not the first time we have utilized this company.  Would recommend them to anyone needing this type of work done without hesitation.
