Always Open & Shut Garage Door Service L.L.C.

I get quotes from 2 companies, and Always Open and Shut was at least $150 cheaper then the competition! Plus, the technician who serviced my door was one of the nicest techs I have ever met. He was knowledgable, efficient, and very friendly. I will absolutely use them again.

They came out and replaced the rollers, adjusted the slack, and adjusted the railings.  The garage door is a lot quieter now.  Although we only have him out to work on 1 garage, he kindly took a look at our other garage door which occasionally just opened without warning.  He adjusted the railings on that one too and now it works better.  Totally beyond the call of duty.  Great, friendly service.

UPDATE:  Unfortunately the garage door that he fixed started acting up about two weeks after the service.  That was disappointing.  If he wasn't going to be able to fix it permanently, I wish he would have told us.  I would have been happy to pay to get it fixed properly, but now I will have to deal with it separately.  Still, I thought the work overall was quite good.

Technician was early, very Courteous, Knowledgeable, and Friendly.
He finished the job in a reasonable time and did NOT leave a mess!

We have home warranty.  So we call them and they send out the repair people.  We pay a set fee for them.  I would recommend them.  They were very prompt.  They worked with us as far as adjusting their schedule with ours.  He was very knowledgeable.  I watched him work and he was thorough in what he did.  He quickly diagnosed what the problem was.  He was able to order the correct part and come back and install it.  The initial diagnostic visit was very good.  We had no problems with the garage door.  He replaced the circuit board.  He was extremely proficient.

The serviceman was very friendly and prompt - even early - and sprayed all the squeaky joints for free.  I got tne name of the company from a woman I used off Angie's List to put in a new toilet and she checked with a client of the garage door company who was very pleased with them.  I am, too.  I was worried it was going to be a costly issue, but this was very reasonable.

Two different installers did the work. They arrived at the set time, worked efficiently and competently and the work was entirely satisfactory.

They initially gave me a 1-3pm window for them to show up. Then Lowes install area called me later in the same day and said they would be here at 3pm. The morning of the install Always Open & Shut calls and wants to come at 11am. We said no and not until at least 1pm. So the installers show up at 12:40pm and start to unload their tools. I said I was not ready and they need to wait until 1pm. I called Shanon at the Always place and she lied and told me my wife said it was alright for them to show up early and sit in the truck. My wife told her not until 1pm before they unload tools. I called Lowes also to get help in this matter and they were uninterested in resolving this. Don't think your getting Lowes backed service when you get an outside contractor. Lowes need to screen their contractor choices better. Neither care about making this right or resolving this issue.

I AM IMPRESSED WITH THE WAY THEY GOT THE JOB DONE WITH NO PROBLEMS. THEY BARELY SAID A WORD, AND THEY WERE DONE IN NO TIME AT ALL. I WILL KEEP THEM IN MIND FOR NEXT TIME, BUT I HOPE THAT THERE WON'T BE A NEXT TIME.

THEY HAD A LITTLE TROUBLE WITH THE WIRING OF THE NEW DOOR. THE WIRING ON THE NEW DOOR DIDN'T MATCH UP TO THE OLD ONE. OTHER THAN THAT THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB.
