James came out immediately and, with perfect professionalism, he diagnosed the problem and replaced the part.  He even took the time to look at a second under counter refrigerator to assure me that it was working properly.  When my unit continued to freeze everything, I called back and without any hesitation, James returned with a new part.  Apparently, the factory had not set the part properly, and even though there was nothing wrong with the part, James was happy to provide a new one.
I will definitely call this company again, and I will specifically ask for James.

very badly. I paid for nothing(service call). They go about their business this way- a power cord for a dryer is $26 part and installed total is $130. The dishwasher removal/install was $110. The microwave was all over the board- they said it needed a kit (molleys for $60) etc but around $160. The washer repair was to be around $142. tax and other- $600. I actually am fine with the washer repair- not knowing what it would take. When I asked him to just fix the washer- he said that the cost would change without the rest of the work. Funny thing is with all the work- there was not any break for the individual tasks- like a 5 minute job to replace a power cord. The cord is $16 at home depot. It is factually a 5 minute job. The dishwasher is no more than a 30 minute job. The microwave- 30 mintes also. I can verify all this because we just replace all our appliances and the following was done- remove washer-install a new washer, remove dryer- install a new dryer both on pedestals and both needing power cords, remove a microwave- install a new microwave, remove a dishwasher- install a new dishwasher, remove a refridgerater- install a new refridgerater. total time- 2 hours- two men in their 20's. The method these folks use is this- a job has a cost and if you have multiple jobs- you pay premium for them all adding to a grand total. I just do not understand this. The parts should have been $60 or so and the labor should have been around $240 - 4 hours $60 per hour.

"To Angie's list customers. Angie's list is a great source for customers to weed out unscrupulous service companies. As an honest business it would be nice if we had a source to weed out unscrupulous customers. This customer called us to give him an estimate to exchange multiple appliances as well as repair the broken ones. We explained to him (as we do all customers) that the technician has to see what he needs to do before we can give an estimate, if the estimate is declined then we charge the service call. We also explained to this customer that if no form of payment is going to be available at the home then we need to put a card on file for the service call. This customer assured me he would be available to meet the technician at the home. When the technician let him know he was heading his way he decided to send his daughter to meet him with no form of payment, and instructed her to have the technician call to get a card over the phone. We did everything exactly as we said we would. the estimates we gave him were well below industry standards for the work that was needed. Apparently this customer was not happy with the estimates we gave him and that is what caused him to write this review. This customer mentions that he had to pay a service call for nothing. This customer never paid us a service call. He is not being truthful in this review just as he was not truthful to us when he agreed to pay us for our services. If this customer had put an add in Craig's list asking for someone to swap and repair his appliances for 20.00 a piece (or what ever he though it was worth) he would have plenty of responses of people willing to do it. He may have to hide his valuables and up his fire insurance, but he would have found someone. Unfortunately for us he decided to call Mr. Appliance."

James' professionalism and courtesy was a pleasant surprise.  I had called another repair company that I subsequently found out had very bad Yelp reviews.  When I cancelled that appointment, I found out why he had bad reviews - the use of the F bomb to someone he didn't even know and calling me an idiot for reading Yelp reviews  made me realize I made the right decision.Needless to say, i was a little skeptical when I called Mr. Appliance of Scottsdale.  From the people on the phone to the contact with James was a most pleasant experience. I will definitely refer the company anytime to anyone.
Thank you James for affirming there are still service people out there that are courteous and professional.

I called, and the very professional person in the office scheduled the work for 2 days later. The repairman James called when he was on his way, and arrived well within the window that I had been given. He was unsure about one aspect of the connections on the board -- the new board was not identical with the defective board being removed. So he called the vendor and waited patiently to get confirmation that what he thought should be done was correct.
We had a board on hand because these boards go out every couple of years or so, and last time one went out we ordered a spare.  At my request James asked about availability of boards when he called the vendor, so I'd know whether I could and how to order another spare.
All was done in about half an hour. Everything was very professional. The office called right after the work was done to make sure I was satisfied, and they e-mailed me a copy of the work order/invoice.
I was indeed very satisfied.

Technician arrived within 3 hours of placing the service call.  Refrigerator was operating normally when the technician arrived so he went through some electronic tests of the system.  Noted that the compressor was likely going bad and called LG Technical Service Department to confirm his findings.  Very professional and thorough diagnosis of the issue.

Repair was done in two visits...the first was to diagnose the problem; second was to fix it. I have had no problem yet with the repair.
The part was the "boot" which is the large rubber gasket in the door. The problem was that it had a hole in it that was leaking. I don't know if going with Sears would have enable the repair to be done in one visit.  I would use them again but would think twice about it for my Kenmore appliances. Otherwise the technician was friendly, neat and professional.
